We had a sensational dinner at Maison Mère; the service, ambiance and food were all truly 5-star. The room feels like a light and airy French farmhouse with open doors and windows letting in the (much-needed) Caribbean breeze, and soft lighting setting a romantic mood. Warm bread with basil oil was served to start, and we selected some delicious (and affordable) wines by the glass from their curated drink list. We tried the coconut tempura prawns with lemon sauce to start, which were so delicious and crispy, as well as the tomato, burrata and grilled watermelon salad with pine nuts. Following that we ordered two specials, a paper-thin pork tagliata with provolone over an assortment of mixed vegetables, and a shrimp and scallop risotto with asparagus in lobster sauce that was phenomenal—one of the most memorable things I ate the whole trip. For dessert, two French classics: crème brûlée and chocolate cocotte with salted butter caramel ice cream, all skillfully executed and quite delicious. Overall this is one of the very best restaurants on the whole island for fine French cuisine in a gorgeous setting, with friendly and attentive service.

We had dinner at Maison Mere for the first time and the total experience was perfect. Our waiter Alan was amazing and the food and drinks outstanding we would definitely come back here. The beef ravioli with a truffle infused broth was the bomb and also the carpaccio with local tuna and crayfish to die for so overall a great experience.

This was a very pleasant experience. From the minute we got there the service was outstanding. Attention to detail from Fanny the host and all other serving staff. That day they had a special menu with a guest chef. The preparation, the dishes were perfectly executed. The meal was fantastic.

We were referred by a local Frenchman so how could it go wrong? Walking into the plaza there are so many choices for restaurants- we looked at all the menus and specials. It was overwhelming for sure. We decided to stick with our original choice and turned out to be the best meal of the week long trip between St. Maarten and Anguilla. Allen took exceptional care of us, excellent wine pairings through all courses. Highly recommended this experience!

Ambiance like in top 5-star restaurants, service implacable, food amazing. I had better dinning experience than on my trip to Paris. All dishes are well crafted and tasty. We had a party of 6 and ordered appetizers to share, every one was better than the other. Tuna tar tar, salmon and salad had intricate taste. Main dishes were excellent: lamb shank, rib eye stake and risotto - all delicious. Service was perfect and desert - out of this world. Highly recommend

This was our first time to visit Maison Mère and we were excited due to their reviews. It was a beautiful place with outstanding service. However, we felt the prices were extremely high for the food that we ordered. We shared an appetizer, each got an entree and a bottle of wine. The bill was over $300.

Waitress spoke little English, could not clearly explain the dishes. Poor acoustics made conversation difficult. Our indication on Open Table that it was my husband’s birthday was not acknowledged. Dishes were artistically constructed with eye appeal but after one or two bites, not palate pleasing.

We went for the first time as one of the few places where I could find a reservation on Christmas night and what a delightful surprise we had. Incredibly polite and friendly hostess and server, beautiful setting/facility, spectacular food and phenomenal service throughout the entire evening. We will absolutely, positively go again!

Let's set the stage first. It is Christmas day and 2 foodies who go out of heir way to find excellent food show up. Service was amazing. Thank you for working on Xmas day The restaurant was very clean and had a wonderful ambience The french onion soup was by far the best we have ever had. And we travelled France looking for good french onion soup We both had the lobster thermidor and were more than pleased with the presentation, and taste. Would have been nice to have a side plate to put the shells as we finished with them. Another suggestion would have been to remove the body meat for us and replace Had the creme brule and chocolate lava desert. Both were amazing, perfect size after a full meal Our thanks to this location for helping make memories that will last forever We will most definitely remember that soup
