We booked a dinner at Maison Selby for a special family event. The whole team couldn’t have been more welcoming, gracious and celebratory. They absolutely made our night and our dinner so special. The service staff didn’t miss a beat. Service was outstanding. We had two classic cocktails and they were perfectly balanced. The food was also incredible. We were all so touched with how the whole team, including the management team, really went above and beyond. Thank you!

Had such a great meal here- enjoyed every single dish. Not only did the food taste good but the presentation was beautiful. Service was also excellent, very friendly and not pushy or anything. Will definitely come back :)

Being an Oliver Bonacini Restaurant we were expecting a much better experience. French restaurant with strange music - definitely not French or pleasant. It was very cold inside. Glad I had a wrap. The choices for dinner were limited IMO. We love Le Select Bistro for French food ( but they are closed Sunday so we thought we’d try Maison Selby. Le Select has far better choices for dinner and much tastier. My foie gras was ok. My mussels were tasteless although well cooked. My husbands CoqAu vin was ok - not as good as Le Select. The frites that came with the mussels were the best part but that’s expensive frites with the mussels having no taste. The staff were pleasant and it was a nice touch to be served a glass of Prosecco because it was our anniversary. But Overall I really would not recommend.

Fantastic cook on everything we ordered, from the octopus to the salmon to the burger. There were no complaints with the food whatsoever. The only complaint, and this is being very picky, is that there was a longer than expected wait between the appetizers and main. I personally had very little issue with it, but it was just something to note. The table was wobbly but one of the servers noticed immediately and got a wedge to fix it. Took some finessing but it was okay by the time we got midway through the appetizers. We were sat at mildly awkward spot between the rooms but as someone that wanted to see as many rooms as possible at the restaurant it was actually kind of nice. This is now my boyfriend's newest favourite restaurant in downtown Toronto. The best french onion soup he has ever had and I thoroughly enjoyed the tartare and Im not even the biggest fan of tartares in general. We are definitely already planning our next visit out there.

We had a wonderful time at maison Selby last night. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the food was great and we really enjoyed the speakeasy downstairs. What a unique experience! Thank you for the great service.

We had an excellent dining experience at Maison Selby. The drinks were delicious and exquisitely made. The crème brûlée was the right amount of crumbly and creamy. And the food was cooked to perfection. The decor only added to our experience. 10/10.
