   Took my daughter for her high school graduation dinner and the waiter was fantastic, the food was great (as usual), and I couldn’t have planned a better place to go. Highly recommend Malone’s in Landsdowne. Always great!!

   We’ve been coming to this location for at least 15 years. It’s usually very consistent and if anything was ever wrong they always made it right. The service was ok, but we ordered $60 steaks, as we usually do because the quality is great and they’re always delicious. When our steaks arrived, they were cooked fine, but the quality of the cuts were awful. When the server came to ask if everything was ok, I mentioned it and she proceeded to tell me she had sent 6 steaks back in the last 2 hours over meat quality and there wasn’t really anything they could or would do. And also she said that she was also going to be looking for a new job. I’m guessing because guests had been having bad experiences with the food and it was affecting her tips? I really don’t know, but it was uncomfortable. Her assistant was at our table every few minutes and asked to clear things several times when there was clearly nothing to take away. It was pretty annoying and made us uncomfortable and rushed. When the server brought our check she said “I’m very sorry you have to pay for this.” It was a bizarre and pretty terrible way to spend $200 on a meal. Hoping Malones stops taking cuts on their food quality and goes back to training their staff properly. We’re super bummed out about it.

   The service was excellent. The food was excellent as usual. It was Mother’s Day and my wife’s birthday. She was given her desert complimentary- a great way to finish an outstanding dinner. We will return again

   Don’t visit here on a high volume day like Mother’s Day. We made that mistake. We have been here many times and always really enjoyed it. Yesterday we rarely saw our waitress (refills). My wife’s steak was overcooked and had to go back. Floors near restrooms were very slick. Like greasy slick. The food itself was good as always. But my wife and I agreed to be more selective about when we might return. Not in a busy day.

    Wait staff-excellent. Service from kitchen-took awhile. Wait staff apologized at least 3-4 times for delay (all we ordered were apps (soup, shrimp cocktail which came out quickly), but our meals (Lexingtonian salads with grilled chicken) took awhile. Manager got involved-not by our request-and he brought out our salads. Sadly my husband’s had tomatoes which he had asked to be left out-but he just separated them out on his own. After meal coffee was delicious.

    I know that it was a busy day yesterday but the service was lacking, waited forever for refills had to remind. So many people were crammed into one area and we couldn't even hear each other. The food was ok, service was lacking and the noise level was insanely too loud. Will not go back on a weekend of graduations and mother's day.

    Prompt seating and service…water, bread and tasty shallot butter, pre dinner drinks. The colossal shrimp cocktail was just that! Between the bread, shrimp and house salad that would have been a meal. But I went on to get the Cajun mahi-mahi on a bed of sweet potato purée. Fantastic! My wife and I dined really well for just over $100 including beers.

    We often use Malone's as a celebration destination. Reservations were available and service was friendly and professional. Our party had shrimp cocktail, salad, steak, prime rib, and chicken. The food was exactly as ordered and delicious. We recommend Malone's.

    Top notch service from Chandler, excellent drinks and food (that creamy butter for the bread and perfect medium-rare steak!), prompt seating, and nice, non-chaotic atmosphere despite a full restaurant at 7:30pm on a Saturday. Loved our date-night dining experience here!

    Great experience. My son got the bone in rib eye - the stoop steak and he loved it. Cooked just right. I enjoyed the Cals chicken dish Very very good ! big portions.. just delicious. We got sat immediately and service was good. My son will be coming to the University in August and we will definitely be back again.

    We were seated at a table where every staff member walked through a thousand times. It was like grand central station. While the food was fabulous as always, the menu prices had increased since our last visit and our table selection was poor. We will return but maybe with less expectation.
