   Good food. Terrible service. The kids ordered bagels with butter. Took them 15 mins to bring the butter. Bagel was cold. Forgot the fruit. Had to chase the staff for coffee. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, there was no rush. Eggs Benedict was very good. Other breakfast plates looked good. It took them forever to bring us the machine to pay. Definitely not run by your typical Greek Montréal restaurant owner.

   The restaurant offers a luxurious atmosphere and a beautiful location, but the food does not live up to the ambiance, except for the prices, which are exaggerated compared to the quality and quantity served. The reviews of this restaurant are overrated!!!

   Tout était parfait!! Je me sentais en Grèce à nouveau. Un wow du début à la fin, décor superbe, service par David excellent, très bon serveur qui rend l’expérience unique. Musique niveau adéquat pour l’ambiance et pour jaser. Ce n’est pas bruillant! La nourriture absolument parfaite aussi! Je recommande a 100%, déjà hâte à la prochain fois!!

   The best comfort food I've had in a while. Staff are amazing and food comes out quickly. Amazing value! Plus the dining room is stunning.

   We went to Mama C for our last night here in Montreal and we weren’t disappointed. The interior is stunning and upon request the staff was able to move us to a small booth for two. The music was unique for a greek dining experience in Canada and really set the mood. Although we were a tad overwhelmed by the menu, we quickly learning that nothing was a poor choice. We got the spicy feta dip, beef skewers, clam pasta, and baklava all to share - everything was fantastic. If you are looking to splurge on a fine dining experience in old port, I definitely recommend Mama C.

   Stepping into this restaurant felt like walking straight into a lively taverna on a Greek island! The upbeat music set the tone the moment we arrived — lively, joyful, and impossible not to smile along with. The atmosphere was full of energy without feeling chaotic — just the perfect balance of fun and relaxed. As for the food — absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was bursting with fresh, bold flavors. The grilled kabob was juicy and perfectly seasoned, the tzatziki was addictive and the spanakopita salad was so uniquely perfect: a mix of classic appetizer and salad combination. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, adding to the vibrant, welcoming vibe.
