   Didn’t love this restaurant as much as I thought I would. Food was good, but honestly not worth the price. You’re definitely paying more for the vibe and ambiance. The space was beautiful, but it was so hot inside (there was no AC which they are supposedly fixing soon but was way too hot in there to enjoy comfortably) If you’re going for the aesthetic or a vibe-y night out then it’s nice, but if you're looking for a good value food-wise or both , there are better options forsure.

   We had an excellent dinner at Mama C. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. Our table shared the appetizers, for the main we had the whole fish with a few sides. The fish was cooked perfectly, presented and deboned in front of us. Desserts (baklava and pistachio chocolate pie) are recommended. Our waiter helped us pair a nice bottle of sparkling wine with the meal. Other than the difficulty in making a reservation (we were told the restaurant was overbooked in person, but found a reservation on Open Table), I’d completely recommend this restaurant as the service and food were both outstanding.

   Noise level was deafening because of music. Food good but couldn’t understand why they ran out of something we ordered. Service was very slow. Staff apologetic but not a pleasant dining experience.

   Good food. Terrible service. The kids ordered bagels with butter. Took them 15 mins to bring the butter. Bagel was cold. Forgot the fruit. Had to chase the staff for coffee. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, there was no rush. Eggs Benedict was very good. Other breakfast plates looked good. It took them forever to bring us the machine to pay. Definitely not run by your typical Greek Montréal restaurant owner.
