   Amazing. Can’t say it enough, simply amazing. The food, the staff, the ambiance. Everything was perfect. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had anywhere, their bolognese sauce was absolute perfection. The pizza dough they use is incredible. The arancina, just “chef kiss”. Such a great evening spent there.

   Excellent and attentive service, and the food and wine were great. The only thing which keeps me from giving 5-stars is that there are no side dishes, though the plates are generous. Will be going back.

   Ambiance très sombre, les serveurs ne viennent pas régulièrement au table. Difficile de se faire expliquer le menu. Nourriture bonne mais sans plus, et menu très petit.

    Amazing entrées and pizza. Amazing atmosphere, so beautiful. Very good music and not too loud, you can still have a conversation. Drinks were so good and service was impeccable. The waiter read our minds all evening!

    Although the restaurant was less than half full, and we had made a reservation over a week ago, we were given the worst table in the restaurant, at the back, in the dark. We needed our phone flashlights to read the menu, the food was barely recognizable in the dark and the hot food was served at barely room temperature. The flavors were perfectly fine but nothing more. Not recommended because there are so many more and better options in that neighborhood.

    Just ok overall! With such high ratings we expected more. Pizzas we good but calamari tasted like frozen instead of fresh. Service was very good though.

    Excellent service de Sébastien..et tout était délicieux. Belle ambiance, bonne musique...et j'ai appris qu'il y a un DJ le vendredi...alors vous risquez de me revoir :-)

    The only thing we didn’t like is that every waiter would go from clearing tables or making clients pay (taking cash/touching the interact machine) to cutting the bread for the tables. So they are touching it with their hands without ever washing them. Use a glove guys. 🙏 Our waiter was so nice but the waiter serving the bottom part was rude to us. That why we ended up being seated upstairs.

    Highlight was the buratta, it was excellent. The rest of the experience was not. The ambiance was unique but too dark for our liking. The pizza was tasty and the salads decent but not worth the price. The service was very curt and not friendly. The washrooms needed a lot of work. No running water in the women’s bathroom.

    Whenever I am in Montreal I usually visit Mangiafoco one evening for a very good pizza, a delicious salad, excellent wine at an affordable price, followed by a good grappa. Manager opened a new bottle which was excellent!

    Both my wife’s and my pizzas were raw, the flavour of one ingredient over powered the rest for each of our pizzas. For example I ordered the FUOCO pizza which had lemon zest, but really the pizza may as well of just had lemon slices on it as that’s all you could taste. Restaurant was so dark you needed your cell phone light to read the menu. Music was so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation with out leaning over your table almost face to face, it seemed as though they were trying to Imamate the sound of live music but with out the entertainment. Our server was awesome at the beginning very helpful , entertaining and was making jokes with us which at first set the mood to have a nice experience. But after we ordered that’s where it ended. We waited over an hr for under cooked, over priced really just not good pizzas. We were not told the it would take that long nor were we given a reason once we didn’t finally get our food. Which was not even brought out by our server but by a bus boy, we had to ask the bar tender for our bill.(we never saw our sever again after we ordered). If the service didn’t start out on such a high note and fall off like someone flipped a light switch, some of the other things mentioned in the review my have not even been noticed. If you’re provided good and timely service you really don’t care or notice some of the small things mentioned in this review. And just for the record they were not busy at all if they were I would not have left this review at all.

    We sat at the bar and were barely acknowledged by the bartender. Food was good but we had to wait too long for it. Music was too loud. All in all would not recommend.

    A busy and vibrant restaurant, with an energetic music backing. Fabulous food with a wide choice of flavour options on offer. And a great choice of beers, wines and cocktails to suit any taste. Our only complaint was that you need to use the torch on your phone to read the menu.

    The food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant is pretty dark, to the point where we needed our phone’s flashlight to read the menu, but you get used to it and it creates a nice ambiance. The staff was polite but not very friendly. They did seem short staffed though, but their service was still fast and efficient. I would go again to try out other things on the menu. Again, food was great !
