We checked this restaurant out during Long Island Restaurant Week. The value was very good. The gals chose the Linguini with white clam sauce and the guys decided upon Surf & Turf. Everything was very good. Keep in mind that I almost never give a five-star rating, so the four-stars I give Manna at Lobster Inn is a very high rating. It is recommended.
Disappointing. Our first visit to The Lobster Inn for many years and first since the most recent ownership change. It was opening night of Restaurant Week and they had no lobsters of any size - sold out, it appears on night one. What we had was satisfactory, but not what we wanted. Service was friendly, but it was not the experience we hoped for.
Food was excellent. Needed an extra waitress. But considering restaurants week and covid was very good.
I know it’s off season and I know it’s hard to get help. But….. you need to be more selective. You want details? It will take more than 50 words.
Great food, nice ambiance, service was a bit slow -but COVID related I am sure-not enough servers
It was wonderful to be able to have lunch at Manna. The food, location and service were outstanding!!
Food was excellent service was attentive restaurant was nice and quiet had a lovely time will definitely be returning
Lobster dinner was outstanding. The waiter was incredibly attentive
The best chowder ever. Excellent fresh lobster and roasted potatoes.
bread could have been better quality.
We'll be back.
A casual dinner with friends. Our waitress was super friendly
Excellent food. Great service. Looking forward to going back.
The lobster was great but the potatoes that were served with the lobster were not my favorite - I always have a baked potato with my lobster or french fries. The corn on the cob was not that tasty but certainly understand that sweet corn is not in season. The service was fabulous, and the bartender does a nice pour.
The food was much better this time! The 3 of us were happy. My only complaint with this place is the lighting. The bar is way too bright. I know they work there too and my friends and I have asked multiple times for them to lower it. It's just unpleasant (as an older woman especially) to sit in such harsh light.
We loved being back at The Lobster Inn! We can't wait to go back! Portions are generous and the food delicious. The service was tops.
This is as our first visit back to one of our favorite places. The restaurant looks fresh and new and still has the same comfortable environment. Our wait Tom was fantastic and all of our dishes were delicious. For a great seafood meal in an iconic location Manna’s Lobster Inn is perfect.
Love this place but they should fix up the dining area. Was seated at a table with the back of my chair up next to a step. Table didn’t move and pinned up next to table. Overall food is great just needs some attention to the ambiance. Also very drafty!
Always great food, relaxed environment and friendly staff, also great to the kids!
The food was cold and awful. The lobster had some kind of black goo in the shell and the sea bass was tasteless. Don’t go here.
Great lunch, loved the seafood tower, drinks and food excellent!
The food was amazing and the service was great except for 1 waitress who was nasty unfortunately I did not get her name. The meal was wonderful we will eat here again.
Very nice location. They definitely have to lose the music. Very loud club dance music playing, It didn’t fit the ambience for a waterfront seafood restaurant. Made me want to leave. Food was OK. Nothing special.
This is an east end iconic place that I have been going to for decades. Sorry to see it close, happy to see it open. Everything is great but the music is for a sports beer not a great seafood restaurant with a view
Wonderful meal .. wonderful atmosphere..wonderful service.. beautiful spot
Loved the food and the fact that you kept the old Lobster Inn look!
Cant wait to come back in the warm weather and sit outside!
We live the setting by the water. Beautiful sunset. You feel like you are on a boat. Appetizers are excellent. Love the blue fish spread and stuffed clam. Lobster was perfect but a little pricy. Service was excellent. Great place for date night. We will be back.
Good menu. Right on the water . Nice sunset
Food and service Excellent
Awesome appetizer and a wonderful server, Carolina! Perfect afternoon lunch!
We’ll it’s not the Lobster Inn. Service was excellent but the food was not. The most gorgeous shrimp cocktail. HUGE pink/white shrimp but NO flavor at all. Possibly a bit chlorine flavor???? Can’t explain it. The meatball app was delish, raw clams also good. Surf and turf was okay but much better probably anywhere else. Key lime pie probably would have been good except I could only taste the raspberry sauce it was smothered in. But the service was great/food delivered hot/table cleaned often etc. sorry! Feel bad being so negative but Lobster Inn it was not ☹️
Manna is such a beautiful setting. The service was impeccable and the food choices were unique and interesting.
Love this place! Can’t wait to go back and try more things- everything sounds great
Lobster and shrimp cocktail were excellent. Not much ambiance.
Great views and great food. Everything very fresh!
Very limited menu. Service was unpolished. Music was too loud for the space.
Wonderful inventive menu. Even dessert was delicious. Best key lime pie ever.
A revitalized lobster Inn. Better than before the food is great! The Brussels Sprouts are the best. The service is fast and friendly. Worth a trip from anywhere!!
We had a very good dinner at Manna at the Lobster Inn. I had the baked clams to start followed by the steamed lobster. It was delicious. The two men with us had something from the raw bar and the other two women shared a Caesar salad and a shrimp cocktail for a starter. Two of them had the lobster, one had a fish that she liked very much, and another had pasta (go figure!). Everyone was very pleased with their meal. Our waitress was new and friendly and we enjoyed speaking with her.
We came for lunch at 4 o’clock on this past Sunday and were so disappointed. Ordered the splat for two and Brussels sprouts. Waited 20 minutes, waitress came out with lobster, one ear of corn and potatoes. We asked her where is the rest of the order. Said she made a mistake and took back the order. Waited another 20 minutes and finally the order came which included a very small lobster, mussels with nothing in them, four shrimp, one ear of corn and red skin potatoes. I never was so disappointed for $95.00. We went home hungry.
Tremendous surroundings , good service and good food ,
We Had Another great meal at Manna. We have been here quite a few times over the summer . Each time we were in different areas of the restaurant. Tonight we were facing the beautiful sky during sunset views while drinking our wine and eating our meal . Each time we visited , the meal was amazing. The mahi tonight , Tuna the time before , the Cole slaw, Thai mussels and deviled eggs all some of my favorites . Each and every time our server was attentive. Tonight Stephan was around when needed and gave suggestions when asked . We are happy to have Manna at Lobster Inn back again ! We will be back soon!
