Mantles Restaurant & Lounge - Sun Peaks Grand
Mantle's Restaurant and Lounge are located adjacent to each other. Mantle's Restaurant is a popular family friendly eatery with a comfortable ambiance. It provides a range of seasonal options that keep changing as the year progresses. The meals are produced with unique local ingredients.
Mantle's Lounge, which is right opposite Mantle's Restaurant, provides a more sophisticated lunch or dinner experience as guests relax on dark wooden chairs in front of an electric fire. Mantle's Lounge also offers creatively made comfort food as snacks and a selection of spirits, local BC beer and wine.
We used this restaurant as the quality of the food was very good compared to others that we had tried in the resort, but admittedly was a bit more expensive.
The restaurant was fairly busy as it was a Saturday evening but noise levels were not an issue.
We had very good service from Ryan.
We ate there twice, the second time was because the food and service was excellent.
the second meal didn't disappoint. we will return again
There for Thanksgiving dinner. Excellent turkey dinner. Generous portions.
The food was amazing and our server - Alexandra - was great, she is an excellent representative for your restaurant.
Nice place to eat. Service is very good. Ambiance is perfect.
Ordered pizza and when it arrived, the crust was soggy. Kids ordered chicken fingers which had a very bad deep-fried taste to it. Other entrees run in the $34-$38 range. Since our friends had offered to take us out to dinner, we felt bad ordering such expensive yet ordinary entrees but there wasn’t much else on the menu that was in the $20-$30 price range so we ended up ordering the pizza. Would not return to this restaurant.
I had ordered the Cobb salad and there was no blue cheese nor avocado in it. That is really wrong. the breakfast buffet is good. I like to go to the restaurant as when staying at the Grand it is very convenient.
The food was exceptional. The beef barley soup was an excellent starter and the haloumi salad a great main. The fish was a bit dry but the batter was good and the chips were excellent. The vinegar was plunked on the table in a plastic bottle which I wouldn't expect at the Grand. It was odd that the salt and pepper were already ground but were in a grinder. We were eating early - a time when families with children eat - but we could have been seated away from the family area.
food was terrible. They couldn’t get stir fry right.
