   We’ve been to the Maple Leaf a few times over the years and thought we’d try it again. We got the bread that has cheese on it, it was kind of strange. We really wish we had gone for the crap dip instead since we’ve heard it’s good. I had the Salmon and it was good, the Bison pasta was decent as well. The seafood linguine didn’t really have any flavour. It’s quite expensive for what you get

   Maple Leaf is one of our fave places in Banff, so we popped in to try their spring special set menu. The options were great and priced at $39 for 3 courses, with a few items having an ‘upgrade’ price. We both really enjoyed every dish - flavours were amazing and serving sizes were plentiful. We were full! Our server was great, respectful, made good suggestions and was willing to joke around with us. The 4 stars for ambiance is because their seating upstairs with the benches needs to be updated - the benches are sunken from use and this makes it hard to eat on that side. Otherwise, an excellent and delicious experience.

   The Maple Leaf exceeded all expectations. The service, the food, the atmosphere.. all amazing. We were seated by the window in the second floor. Beautiful view. The background music was great, we loved every song. Our waiter was super friendly and so helpful with the menu when asked for recommendations. My husband and I each had the beef filet and it was amazing. The desert were spectacular as well. If we ever come back to Banff this restaurant would be a “must do”. I can’t say enough how enjoyable this meal was for us!

   The food was outstanding!! We got the spring feast, and honestly best steak I have ever had, I'm drooling about it still. The butternut squash was also very yummy, and for dessert we got the maple walnut apple cheese cake , so so yummy! I Would go every night to eat if I could. I cannot wait to go again and continue trying different items from the menu!

   We had an amazing experience! Our server (Dina I think) made the night. It was my 40th birthday and she treated our entire table so well. The food was great as well, we would definitely go back.

    Only made a reservation here because I googled “kid friendly restaurant” and this was the first one to pop up. Overall not really kid friendly. I had the bison plate. For $84 a plate it really was nothing special. The gravy/sauce they use is far too salty, there was literally 3 pieces of broccoli (suppose to come with market vegetables). Nothing stood out to me flavour wise and our server was not attentive to our table. We ordered our food, took 45 minutes to get it to our table. For a $270 dinner I was not impressed and won’t be going back. Should’ve went to the keg.
