    Took a chance on booking with Parents weekend at nearby Colleges Restaurant wasn't overly busy. Service was very attentive. Food very good, sweet potatoes could have used a touch more seasoning. Steaks and fish both on point. Will say, the host and hostess could have seperated groups a bit better so we weren't sharing conversations. Also, we were not made aware of "resort fee" for visiting restaurant.

    Food was excellent as usual..a bit disappointing that there were no specials and they didnt have their lobster bisque. Instead they had lobster and corn choweder which was out of this world - now that is my favorite...great service, great ambiance (quiet)...

    It was a very nice evening, the food was very good, the service perfect. The only thing I don't like to have a small table for two , it is to small next time I would ask to change

    It was fantastic food. The whole group enjoyed their individual meals, and drinks. Certainly did not feel rushed It was my 80th birthday and I appreciated the free dessert! Fabulous

    The food was delicious, service was excellent, it's just the little things that annoy me such as not taking out last week's specials insert out of the menu, so I had to reorder ex post facto. They comped an appetizer as reparations and in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, it just put a bad made for not perfect.

    Service is always good. Food is good. We were a little disappointed when the server told us they had run out of lamb lollipops, but it turned out there were a few left so the chef sent them to our table. We always have a very pleasant experience there.

    Complete turn around, heard that the Maple Steak house was making a comeback. Pleasantly impressed to see that they are almost back to pre pandemic days. Service was outstanding, in and out in about an hour. Food was 5 star, Shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, sirloin and veal chop were all 10 out of 10. Give the Maple Steak House full support they deserve it.

    My wife have been going there for years and have noticed a steady decline in the food quality and service. One of my personal favorites as always been the onion soup, not anymore they changed the recipe to something generic and reduced the size considerably...but not the price. My wife ordered the mussels and we had to send them back, they were awful. We were later told by the server that they had used the wrong ingredients in them. I ordered the crab linguine and ended up with bad heartburn overnight. The wine was good though, but then again, the restaurant doesn't make wine. Once upon a time this was one of our favorite restaurants, but for some reason or other, the menu has changed not for the better. Service has also declined dramatically in quality. It's sad to say that the new version of the Maple Room is underwhelming and overpriced. I think there needs to be a change of management as well as a big change in the kitchen. The Maple Steak and Ale needs to go back and find the formula that made the Maple Room such a good restaurant.

    We used to love this restaurant and were waiting for it to reopen. It was closed for remodeling. When we sat down we did not notice any remodeling. The waitress told us the kitchen was remodeled. They must have had a new chef. We were not impressed. I had Halibut. My husband had Seafood Linguini. The halibut was tasteless with a sauce with leeks. The seafood linguini was fair. We will not be returning.

    The Maple Room consistently offers fine food. Prices have risen substantially, but where haven't they. As long as they keep stocking our favourite wine, we'll keep coming back.

    I like to just order appetizers so I can try different things which helps me from getting stuffed. I haven’t been disappointed yet. Had the Lobster Corn Chowder yesterday and it was wonderful. Had a great Sessions beer too.

    WE dined on a Sunday night. The service and food was excellent. We had shrimp cocktails, seared scallops, a ribeye, pork chops and a lobster tail. No room for dessert. Everything was top notch. The server even remembered that my mother loves the maple candies and brought her several extra.

    Our first time at this restaurant and we were not disappointed, I had French onion soup, lobster tail and carrots, my husband had salad, stuffed mushrooms and pork chop all of it was delicious from start til finish. Looking forward to returning.

    Rib steak was excellent and cooked perfectly how I asked for it. Blue cheese salad was delish and a large portion which my wife and I split. Atmosphere was nice and quiet and the service was great! The staff are very friendly as well.

    This is a place to go for a special occasion. One of the best restaurants I've been to. The service was phenomenal. My wife ordered the 8 oz steak and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I ordered the ribeye and it was so tender. Even the sides of asparagus and potatoes were expertly done. Is it pricy? YES but well worth it. A cozy, setting for a romantic dinner for two.

    We truly enjoyed the food selection that night…my husband said the scallops were amazing as was his lobster fettuccini. I had the chicken with risotto & butternut squash…excellent. The lemon crème brûlée was rather impressive as well! Each dish was prepared to perfection and in a way we had never eaten before. Our waitress, Ruth, was excellent indeed…very personable and quite informative about the food and the beverages. We felt that the whole experience met our expectations!
