   Scallops and filet mignon were both very good. Shrimp cocktail is always fabulous. Wait staff very attentive. Nice having a higher end place to pop into from the casino floor. We’ve never been disappointed.

   Enjoyed our dinner very much. Had to swap steaks due to cooking error…my filet was to be medium rare, and my partners prime rib was too be well done, the opposite occurred. The lobster tail was amazing. Atmosphere was lovely.

   This was our first time there. We booked a junior suite at the hotel and we were very much looking forward to the experience however we found it quite underwhelming. While the server was lovely the food was not. We ordered a lovely bottle of red wine which was quite nice and light. The cheese board starter consisted of 3 different colors of the same very bland cheese curds and candied smoked bacon. The bacon was the clearly the star of the "cheese board". We also ordered the pork belly taco's and the Ceaser wedge salad. The salad was underdressed and one of taco's was melt in your mouth while the other was a struggle to bite and chew through. Unfortunate as the dressings on the tacos was quite tasty. The main meal consisted of a 6 oz. filet for myself and 10 oz for my partner accompanied with whipped mashed potatoes and asparagus. Once again there were inconsistencies'. We both order our filets medium rare. My partners steak came as medium while my steak was a shade shy of well done. His steak was good but nothing special. The side of whipped potatoes was delicious as was the asperges. My steak was tough and difficult to saw through. It was dry and entirely inedible. We returned my meal after two bites and went on to dessert and coffee. The chocolate mousse was very good as were the cappuccino's we ordered. The bill came to the table and we saw that the returned steak was charged to us. I asked and why we had been charged and the server said that the manager would need to remove it. After 5-6 minutes the manager came over to ask why the meal was returned. We explained the situation and the charge was removed. It may have been a off day for the chef but at the price of dinner, not a great experience, and not one we will repeat. Unfortunately we would not return to the hotel nor the restaurant. -D

   We celebrated a birthday and had a great time. Everyone in our party was very happy with their meal. The musician, Pinky, did another fabulous job keeping us entertained throughout our meal. The staff was very attentive and saw to our needs.

    It was unusually quiet when we arrived and the Chef seemed to be going from table to table, chatting up each of the customers. He came to our table, introduced himself, his goals for service and offer us some fresh curd cheese, made locally. We were impressed with Chef’s sincerity and his passion for food. Our meals were delicious, as always. Our waitress was efficient and very friendly - another usual for this resto! My only criticism is that it’s a little pricy; I realize we are all recovering and prices have increased, but it is a little expensive. Thank you for another great meal!

    The CAB filet was perfectly prepared and tasty. The French Onion soup was salty and I wish the serving bowl had been larger. It was not the classic onion soup crock. The warm bread basket was quickly refilled. Our server, Ruth, was quite attentive and answered our questions. The maple candies with the hot towels was the perfect ending.

    The overall meal was good. However we do have a couple of comments: 1) a Caesar salad should not be served in a wedge format. This salad deserves respect. And not replicate that of another wedge salad. Go back to serving it in the traditional way. Croutons were excellent, it lacked “salt” ie bacon or pancetta. Not sure if the dressing was homemade. I have a great recipe for one if you need. 2) a guest ordered a vodka and soda and was served in a 10oz water glass. We requested it be served in a traditional glass instead. 3)our server was so sweet however lacked the experience required as such as the Maple room. Our expectation is that when we are paying 2 times $62+ for steak which we wanted to split between 4 people, she could have at least brought 4 steak knives and not two. It’s little things like this that we found disappointing. Overall, the food was really good but the service needs to be kicked up a notch. And honestly, take that wedge Cesar off the menu, put back a traditional Cesar. If it were prepared tableside that would blow it out if the water. We are from Montreal and want so much for the casino to be back to how it was pre-Covid, but little things like the points above will go a long way. Thanks Patricia Chaif

    The service was great. But the food was really overpriced for what you get. I ordered the 16oz ribeye and ordered it medium and it came out severely charred on both sides and was atleast 1/4 of the ribeye was all fat.

    We were a party of 5. Service was very good. No appetizers, but first round of drinks came quickly, meals followed at an appropriate time, and dessert and coffee completed the experience! Food was delicious: flavors, temperature and presentation were all perfect. No doubt it is a bit pricey, but for the food quality and quantity, it was worth every penny! Highly recommend for those who are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or event!

    Took long time for server to great us, even longer til we could order a drink. Had to ask for bread after we got our salad. Food when it came was good. After waiting had to ask for check which again took awhile. Need better training and supervision .
