    Overall it was an excellent experience. We had a small miscommunication issue with the order, but It was quickly and efficiently taken care of by our waitress. The best dining experience in Massena NY area.

    I ordered a chicken dish which had good flavor but the Chicken so tough you could barely chew it. Not sure if it was overcooked or what. Other people in my party said that their entrees were "ok". For the price we paid, i expected better than 'ok'. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is nice.

    The food at the Maple Room never disappoints. Our meal consisted of French onion soup and crab cakes for our appetizers. Our entrees consisted of CAB Ribeye, 16 oz. and their special of marinated pork chop with mango salsa. Our food was superb. I continue to recommend the Maple Room to friends and family.

    Unfortunately was a very bad experience! We arrived at 7pm, got our table right away. Took an hour to get bread and water. At 8 pm we got bread. We mentioned to waitress that we wanted our food as we had come to the casino to gamble. Our appetizers arrived at 8.30! What a long wait!! Meanwhile tables around us are and left while we hadn’t gotten any food. Asked to speak to the manager. Who did not apologize! Not normal that after 2 hours our main meals did not even arrive! We canceled our main meals at this point ! At hhe 2 hour mark. The manager did not even offer to compensate or help us, or even apologize for this horribly long wait, nor could he explain it. And worst of all made us pay for our visit! The waitress was nice, however this is out of her control. Overall this was not a great experience. After 2 hours we left hungry.!

    We absolutely love going to the maple steak house when we travel to the casino. Lovely ambience, the staff is phenomenal and always kind, and the chef is amazing. Love the new menu items that are seasonal.

    Very Good food. Wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but untrained, and under staffed most likely. Piano player, singer, saxophonist was really talented and pleasant.

    Took a chance on booking with Parents weekend at nearby Colleges Restaurant wasn't overly busy. Service was very attentive. Food very good, sweet potatoes could have used a touch more seasoning. Steaks and fish both on point. Will say, the host and hostess could have seperated groups a bit better so we weren't sharing conversations. Also, we were not made aware of "resort fee" for visiting restaurant.

    The food was delicious, service was excellent, it's just the little things that annoy me such as not taking out last week's specials insert out of the menu, so I had to reorder ex post facto. They comped an appetizer as reparations and in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, it just put a bad made for not perfect.

    Service is always good. Food is good. We were a little disappointed when the server told us they had run out of lamb lollipops, but it turned out there were a few left so the chef sent them to our table. We always have a very pleasant experience there.

    Complete turn around, heard that the Maple Steak house was making a comeback. Pleasantly impressed to see that they are almost back to pre pandemic days. Service was outstanding, in and out in about an hour. Food was 5 star, Shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, sirloin and veal chop were all 10 out of 10. Give the Maple Steak House full support they deserve it.

    My wife have been going there for years and have noticed a steady decline in the food quality and service. One of my personal favorites as always been the onion soup, not anymore they changed the recipe to something generic and reduced the size considerably...but not the price. My wife ordered the mussels and we had to send them back, they were awful. We were later told by the server that they had used the wrong ingredients in them. I ordered the crab linguine and ended up with bad heartburn overnight. The wine was good though, but then again, the restaurant doesn't make wine. Once upon a time this was one of our favorite restaurants, but for some reason or other, the menu has changed not for the better. Service has also declined dramatically in quality. It's sad to say that the new version of the Maple Room is underwhelming and overpriced. I think there needs to be a change of management as well as a big change in the kitchen. The Maple Steak and Ale needs to go back and find the formula that made the Maple Room such a good restaurant.

    We used to love this restaurant and were waiting for it to reopen. It was closed for remodeling. When we sat down we did not notice any remodeling. The waitress told us the kitchen was remodeled. They must have had a new chef. We were not impressed. I had Halibut. My husband had Seafood Linguini. The halibut was tasteless with a sauce with leeks. The seafood linguini was fair. We will not be returning.
