    The ambiance was great, food was good, service was above average. However, the prices were a bit inflated. Started the night with a glass of champagne for my date and I…$66 before tip. I think all in the total cost for the two of us for dinner was close to $500. That’s just silly prices.

    From the moment you enter this restaurant, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and warmth. The service is exceptional—attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff eager to share their passion for the menu. The food is nothing short of spectacular. We started with their pan fried bread with a special butter/sauce and prosciutto-like ham over it...OMG!!! Delicious. Then we ordered French onion soup (the best I've ever had), oysters & Cesar salad. All of that was overly delicious. Next, we had fillet mignon, beef wellington, fries and some sort of corn soufflé. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Overall, Marcel offers an unparalleled dining experience. With exquisite food and flawless service, it’s a must-visit for any special occasion or indulgent night out. I can’t wait to return!

    I always enjoy my dining experiences at Marcel, this was no exception. To the valet route for parking this time, for $10 before tip and they also accept credit cards it’s super convenient. This night was with girlfriends and funny enough none of us ordered steak! And our “Girl Dinner” was just divine! Steak tartare, Marcel salad, fries (of course!), escargot, and Le Chaude Marcel were each perfect from start to finish. Perhaps my one complaint would be the salad could have been a bit more crisp, otherwise we enjoyed everything! Thank you to our excellent server Xavier, we will be back…naturally.

    Had the lobster risotto. I enjoyed it along with the asparagus which had a nice charred and smoky flavor to it. The only suggestion is to more lighting on the tables since the restaurant is so dimly lit. My friends and I as well as other patrons had to use the light on our phones to read the menu.
