   We received an incredible treatment, from the Welcome to the farewell. I don't have complaints, everything we consumed was up to expectations. I'm a pastry chef and I must say that I fell in love with the desserts. Gracias Chef José!

   It was kind of a letdown as we had heard good things about Marcella and were looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately the place has no materials to absorb any kind of sound so the noise level was extremely high. Food was OK but not above average, maybe it was an off night; I ordered the Beef Wellington rare and it arrived well-done and rather tasteless.

   Saludos! A modo de dar un feedback que ayude a mejorar la experiencia..pienso que debido a que las mesas estan rayadas, sugiero que utilizen mateles en la mesas. De seguro ayudaria a mejorar el ambiente. En cuanto a la comida, me gusto mucho la presentacion del plato principal, pero el sabor no fue algo que considero algo diferente y/o unico. En cuanto al servicio, excelente. Todo el staff me hizo sentir comoda. Exito.

   I’ve been visiting the restaurant every week for the past month and it’s become one of my favorite spots with my wife. Everything is simply perfect, the food offer is varied for different tastes and the personnel give great recommendations when asked. Looking forward to return!

   It was the last night of my bosses in PR and took them and a very important client to dinner. They all where super impressed. The Lobster Roll it’s so addictive we ordered a second service. The Marrow Tartare blew my mind. And that was just the tip if the iceberg. Everything that came to the table was outstanding. The Rabbit, the Cod, Lobster Tortellini… no matter what you order you can be sure that it will tickle all your senses. The whole night was amazing. The attention and service from everyone was warm and welcoming. I really really love this place.

    We had a 7 pm reservation. We were seated promptly and placed our drink order. Then service went downhill. Our meal did not get delivered to our table till 8:40 pm. 2 of our plates were warm (not close to being served hot) the other 2 were fine. Food was good, but we did eat at many restaurants in Puerto Rico that was outstanding.

    Everything was excellent, the food was superb, I had the Beef Tararé Narrow Bone and was exquisite, then de Beef Wellington and it was incredible, and for desert we had the Banana Cake with Ron Barrilito Sauce and it was simply perfect.

    I'm not sure what the other "bad service" reviews are referencing, or the restaurant has responded positively to them. We had great and attentive service, and the food was very satisfying. The dishes are unique, and the drinks were custom-designed. A really enjoyable experience overall!

    The food was pretty good. I got the 5 mushroom halibut. It was nice but a little bit salty. My girlfriend got the lobster tortellini. She loved it. The restaurant must work on the ambience and the decoration because it’s kind of odd. Besides I would recommend it.

    The food and drinks here are definitely impressive. We are always looking for eclectic restaurants and Marcella did not disappoint. Like all places in Puerto Rico, we are on island time! sit back relax and enjoy, nothing is rushed! Our group ordered a little bit of everything. The portions are perfect and everything was cooked to perfection! The service was great as well! We all agreed we would go back!

    The restaurant is located on a hotel lobby, which is odd because while you seating lots of people coming in/out. The service was excellent but the food was ok, nothing extraordinary.

    Food was delicious! We had chicken plus a scrumptious brownie/ice cream dessert. Portions are generous. No wait on a Friday night. Be ready to wait for the food, though. They are most definitely on island time—I think they had to go catch the chickens! Server never checked back with us. Prices are better than the resort behind, but not inexpensive. Also, pro tip: in PR you need to let them know when you are ready for the check.

    We got here through a sponsored ad and were pleasantly surprised. We had two different appetizers, smoked eggplant pie and Alcapurria tartare. Very good. For dinner we ordered tuna steak salad, pumpkin tuna and Pekin duck. For dessert we shared a coconut brulee and it was the least exciting thing of our meal. Service was on the slow side. Even though, we would return and recommend.

    Everything was fine until the main course. Drinks were served relatively fast as well as the appetizers. Both were excellent. Highlighting the Beef tartare. After the appetizers were served the main course serving took an extremely long time. We got there at 7pm therefore not that many people present yet. At 8:15pm it was already quite full. Between the first course and the main one it took at least an hour. The main course food was good. High notes for the Peking Duck on top of the Mofongo. The Mahi Mahi with the Crab sauce was good but the plate could have been served hotter. Value was great considering todays prices at equivalent restaurants. It’s worth a visit to see how they perform your day or night. They need to do some fine running although.

    Service was slow but the waiter was trying hard (the restaurant appeared to be understaffed) and was sweet. The food made it worthwhile because every dish was amazing! Very different and memorable flavors! I would give the service another try because I love the food.

    Fan-freaking-tastic! My wife is a vegetarian and has to be careful with certain foods due to a stomach condition so the chef whipped up a dish for her not on the menu and she was blown away. I had the NY strip and both were off the charts. Amazing little hidden gem!

    The food was stellar. The server treated our large party like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The tuna steak was so good. The only complaint is that on the website there were items that were not available when we wanted to order them. But really, what we ended up getting was perfect.     WORST EXPERIENCE IN SAN JUAN. We arrived for our reservation, which we confirmed using the app AND over the phone the day of, and they didn’t have a table for us. They didn’t apologize or provide any explanation, they just didn’t have a table for us. We waited at the desk as waiters ignored us. When we eventually got someone’s attention at the bar and asked how long it would be, they shrugged. We left and went to a different restaurant around the corner. It’s also in the middle of a small hotel lobby.
