Great restaurant with great service and strong Covid protocols in place.
It was okay! Not sure if we ordered the right thing but the pasta did NOT blow my mind.

Good no-frills restaurant for Italian fare. Have been here many times. Caesar Salad was bit dry this time but the Pizza is allways good and service is attentive. Waiters are using a kind of lower face shield instead of masks, which I thought was a bit odd, but I'm assuming this is allowed by healthy authorities.
Always a favorite for pizza or pasta. Calamari is a must try too!

Food is always very good here; tasty pizza and pasta...service was just OK this visit; had better... Marcello's has done a great job with Covid protocols; felt extremely safe and comfortable.

The waiter couldn’t have been better. The restaurant was very cold. Salad was simple and great, linguine Carbonara was more like a very bad Alfredo. The restaurant was gracious and removed it from the bill. I reserved a pizza and was much happier.
Food tastes like the lid fell off the salt shaker when they seasoned it. Service was great. Ambience ok. Value no.

You’ve got to try the 4 Cheese Gnocchi- I’ve already had it twice this month. That and the Capresse pizza and a Misto salad left 3 of us pleasantly full. We did mention it was a birthday but no cake for me!
The best fresh Italian food around
Our first dinner out as a family in months because of CV19 and glad we chose Marcello's. It was mid-week and pretty early (5 PM) reservations so there were only a handful of other tables but the service and food were both outstanding. Also, without knowing, we were there for Happy Hour so $5 house wine was a welcome surprise.
Important to note that we felt very comfortable with the CV19 protocols in place. Well spaced tables, plexiglass separating the tables, staff with mouth shields, etc.
We have been fans a long time and will be regulars for years to come.
We ate outside in cold weather but we were honouring Bonnie Henry's and Reika Gustafson's advice about entertaining in restaurants and choosing our comfort level.
Food is really good. The ambience is strangely like a cafeteria. A lot of seats in long rows in very little space. Can get pretty noisy too.
The braised beef ravioli is so good!
I asked for a 1/2 portion of Calamari and they could not accomodate the request, they brought it by mistake and took it back, maybe offer it to me for 1/2 price. Wej all ordered dinners and a salad so it wasn't like we were trying to save $ nor get something gratis...just saying. Our server, Pino, could have smiled once or twice too. That being said all else was wonderful!
Hostess was so welcoming and friendly and our waitress was great!! Food was amazing especially grilled calamari pizza was great too. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in Vancouver. Little Italy 🇮🇹 has a great vibe.
Comfortable eating outside with heater. Great spicy tuna burger; poke bowl; squid; fish and chips.
The calamari grill was delicious so was the mushroom truffle pizza...

Came here for my brother’s birthday. Was not happy with the service, the first waiter that greeted me made me feel like I was judge because of my race. The entire time he ignored us, sat down and had to wait about 15 min to get our water. The first waiter kept avoiding eye contact because he didn’t want to help us. Will not be going back.
The server had very poor manners for restaurant service.
Very reasonable night out. Order two pitchers of beer and split a large pizza for 30 bucks. Can’t beat!

Really lovely autumn evening out on the patio. Pizza was delish, pesto pasta was okay (a bit bland for my taste). Service was so great.
With Covid, the feel is a lot different due to the barriers between tables but that is now part of life.

Marcello is a regular place for our family. We go for most special occasions. This time we found the food to be slightly less spectacular than usual, but we were not disappointed. The service was as great as ever. I will always recommend.
