Ambiance and decor is nice. The omelette was not good at all! No flavour at all for the price... I will say the pastries were very good and unlimited. I recommend for the pastries but def not the food.

This is our 4th time at this restaurant and the only thing that has remained consistently good is the food and the good looking people frequenting the restaurant.
We ordered the seafood tower, which has been consistently good, everytime. It arrived about 35 minutes after placing our order and our drinks were served about 20 minutes after that. We reminded the waiter several times about the cocktails and he flashed a smile bowed to go see but they did not appear as promised. We finally got ahold of the busboy and asked him to go fetch the drinks and they arrived a minute later. The drinks had been sitting at the bar for about 30 minutes, not only was the martini improperly prepared but the other 3 drinks had warmed up some. We then ordered several appetizers, a tomatoes salad and the tomahawk steak along with all the accoutrements. The food was OUTSTANDING and has been consistently OUTSTANDING. The wait staff was awful and has been consistently deteriorating since we first went. I really thought this would become our go to restaurant but I’m starting to have second thoughts. Too bad because that steak was sooooo good!

I had attempted to get into Marcus several weeks ago, only to realize that reservations is an absolute must. So, made reservations and was seated not far from the entrance,close to the kitchen. Service was good to order drinks and food. Food was outstanding. The pastries brought me back to my childhood... European influence and not over sugared. Highly recommend and will definitely return. 🍸🍸

We went here for drinks for my friends birthday and made a reservation for a late time slot. Upon arriving we sat down at our table and when we told the waitress we were ordering just drinks she nearly kicked us out of the restaurant.. letting us know they “need tables” and we could relocate to the bar if we were just getting drinks. As we had specifically made reservations early and it said nothing about HAVING to order food in order to sit at the restaurant to accompany our $20 drinks we found this extremely rude and unprofessional. It’s not as if buying a few drinks wouldn’t equal the same cost as a meal seeing as the cocktails are quite pricy. It was a really unfortunate scenario. We did end up getting only drinks with some resistance and my espresso martini was amazing it’s unfortunate the service left such a bad taste

This restaurant needs more meat options on its menu, Steak for one person, or Veal dish, not everyone can eat Seafood or Fish. Price wish was not that great

This restaurant was very beautiful in terms of atmosphere, spacious and bright—especially in the morning since we had brunch there. The waiters are polite and helpful, and the food was nice. Ensure that you do locate the restaurant if you are not a hotel guest and are simply entering through the bar/casual lounge area; we waited at the lounge entrance for a little bit but none of the staff working there came over and welcomed us? Regardless, the actual dining experience was pleasant, and I would recommend this place if you would like an upscale environment with classy food.

Fabulous evening, we truly enjoyed. The food was excellent, the service was great, good advice on the wine. The performance for New Year eve was unexpected and absolutely marvellous. We danced away after midnight!

Dining at Marcus has always been a very nice experience for us, every time, and this recent occasion has been even better. We were a party of four and one of the plates was served about a minute or so later than the others, which was barely noticeable for us, but everyone from waiter to manager, kept on apologizing, offering extras and unexpected nice gestures. We will definitely keep this establishment on our list of favorites, even just for regular everyday dining. Do not hesitate to ask about the specials not written on the menu, and trust recommendations even for cocktails.

We loved the restaurant. Ambience and decor was outstanding and the service was excellent. It’s a pricey menu and they’re missing a simple steak dish but overall I highly recommend it.

Everything about Marcus is great. My only criticism is one of personal taste- decor/service staff wardrobe choices. The décor- light woods, cane back chairs- lots of plants- is bright and cheery. This is more suitable to a hotel breakfast/lunch setting- not a romantic dinner for two. The same can be said of the Breakfast-style aprons and khaki colours of the wait staff. It’s more pancake house, than sophisticated seafood joint. That said, service and food were excellent.

The main issue I had with this visit was that the regular menu was not available, and this was not indicated before I arrived. In fact, when I confirmed my reservation through Open Table, I was offered the option to review the menu and it was the regular menu. When I arrived, it was a holiday menu that had far fewer of the options that Marcus is known for (raw bar, fresh fish).
What I had to eat was good, and the service was good, but had I known what was on offer (eggs benedict, french toast, etc for a 7pm reservation on Christmas night), I would have chosen another restaurant.
