We went for brunch and ordered the 100$ ‘brunch for 4’ which was ridiculously too little. A small bowl of scrambled eggs for 4 , 4 small sausages, some chicken 🍗 bacon but really enough just for two.

Beautiful lounge with style and good vibes, the food was more than great -- Unfortunately, our server was pushy, came to see us 4 times in less than 20 minutes and after that she disappear. Never came back to ask if we were good or to serve us our wine again (bought 2 bottles), and had to ask the busboy to order again since we never heard from her again.

Everything was unique and wonderful, great vide great people working at this place.

J’ai trouvé le seafood tower horrible et une blague par rapport à la qualité/prix! Aucun goût pour les crevettes ni les pétoncles. La pieuvre grillée la plus squeaky sur la terre, incapable de la couper avec mon couteau donc pas du tout tendre. Les huitres Rockefeller manquaient entièrement de fromage. Cocktail hyper cher avec aucun goût non plus. Tout était super décevant, sauf le tartare au thon, mais encore... Bref, souper pour ma fête totalement raté, j’ai été très déçue et j’avais des hautes attentes. Je n’y retournerai pas.

Not a place for the food lovers. However, this place is an Instagrammer's dream. From what I saw it was lot of people taking photos and ordering safe food.
While this restaurant is stunning inside, the food and service are not.
About the food, the menu is really safe, no risks taken on the offering really it's salmon here, some some fish tartare/ sashimi, some chicken, a grilled fish and a seafood bar. Nothing really teases the taste buds. We had the spicy tuna tartar it was dry and not spicy. The salmon belly bites were good but overpriced ($17 for 4 grape-sized bites of salmon). For the main course we had the glazed whole duck to share.
Let's talk about this duck, while the taste was actually nice, the waiter came to the table and teased us with a nicely made whole glazed duck and claimed that the cutting will be done in the kitchen, the plate was sauce-less. A few mins later the duck is served, but only the breasts are in the plate with full jus in it. Where is the rest ?!?! The legs, the Aiguillette etc... ? I suspect it's all pre-made and the whole duck showed before is just a gimmick. I really really doubt they actually cut it and served it what we have been shown and truly they should call it glazed duck BREASTS.
Finally the service was below average, wine was not served on time with the main course, the maître D' never showed himself, we had to ask multiple times for things and overall it seems a lot of wind moving.
I am overall disappointed as the prices are really high for such a poor performance.

I liked very much the location: the decor, the overall ambiance, the fact that is full of light. I imagine that in the summer time must be lovely so probably I will go back for a brunch in the summer time.
The food was good, not wow, but maybe our expectations were too high. We’ve been there for a Sunday brunch. So, i’ve enjoyed the fact that there was like a desert bar, where you could go and taste croissants and different deserts. All the deserts I tasted were delicious. Very goog job!
The most dissapointing aspect of our experience was the service:
- it took over an our to get the food, for a 6 people table. It could be understandable because the restaurant was very crowded, but still ...
- it took more than half an hour to get the drinks, meaning 3 regular cocktails from the menu, nothing special and this is unacceptable
- you were out of pancakes! At a brunch! This is ridiculous!
- the waitress was a disaster; just one example: I have ordered avocado toast and greens salad. She should have known that the avocado toast comes with half a plate of green salad so ordering an extra greens salad would not be needed, unless you are a rabbit.

The food was perfectly prepared although at least one dish could have used more seasoning. The food was wonderful, but seemed little uninspired for brunch. The pastries were truly amazing. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was bistro-chic. The experience made Marcus certainly worth the trip to the Four Seasons.

This restaurant is for those who enjoy all the perks of fine dining. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. I especially loved the fact that our waiter knew my name and referred to my husband and I by our names throughout the evening. The drinks are a little pricey but definitely worth it... there was actually GIN in my GIN tonic! I would definitely go back.... just waiting for an occasion!

C’était l’anniversaire de notre fille et la saint Valentin, nous avons réservé pour 18:15. Nous avons eu une très belle expérience à tous les niveaux, le service était impeccable et l’assiette délicieuse. Il y a une nette amélioration dans les préparations, les assaisonnements sont parfaits maintenant et le choix dans le menu est très intéressant, on avait envie de tout commander.
Il y avait également un menu enfant, c’est très apprécié. Merci marcus pour cette belle soirée familiale très réussie.

Service très ordinaire considérant la réputation que l'on accorde à l'endroit. Omelette sans saveur et assiette décorée selon les années 90, saupoudrée de paprika et de parmesan.
café froid et lorsqu'on demande à le réchauffer, il revient brûlant (réchauffé à la vapeur) dans la tasse toute tachée.
Plutôt déçu de l'endroit dans son ensemble pour le brunch. Nous ne pouvons pas nous prononcer sure les menus du dîner et du souper.

Always great food, service and a great evening out. Start to finish, the cocktails are superb along with the selection of dishes from the Robata options to the whole fish to the yummy brussel sprouts as sides. Love this place!

We had a great day. We went for a friend’s birthday. The food portion is very small for the price but fairly tasty. The ambiance was great and the service too.

Superb! It was a very special occasion so we visited the resto the day prior to talk about our seating. Charlotte met with us. She is a star! When we arrived the next day our table was ready and the request was noted in the reservation. Good communication by the Marcus team. Service was excellent. Efficient but not rushed. Super job by Yoann. Charlotte came by twice during our three hour stay, to check on us as well.
Oh, the food was also a hit. Not one miss. Wow.

Marcus is a beautiful restaurant. the ambiance, the decor and design are stunning. we made our order but the waiter forgot a dish. I found that a lot of the dishes had panko. I ordered the trilogy (sashimi), it had panko on the salmon/tuna tartare, a tomato salad with cheese (had panko crumbs, I guess for crunch) and the brussel sprouts (felt like it had panko.. they were sooooo bad). the capers on the branzino were meh. they would get stuck in your teeth. even though our waiter forgot one of our orders, he was still very good.
all in all, this place is ok. its full of montreal people. I would suggest going there for a special occasion.

It was my first time at Marcus. I had heard great things so I was expecting something special. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I had to ask 3 times and wait 20 minutes for a simple black tea meanwhile my dining companions received their cocktails within 5 minutes. I ordered a medium rare Wagyu burger which arrived well done and was totally lacking in flavour. My appetizer was the green salad. A very small bowl of mixed lettuce which cost $12 which seems a little excessive to me. Overall my experience left me disappointed. I will go back to try it one more time and I hope my experience was a one off.

Fries were too oily, the salmon tartare lacked taste - and it took about 10 min to get service - not even water was served at start.

For a very good restaurant, it’s unfortunate to have a poor service like that. They should train the staff how to give a 5 stars services.
