    Waiter forgot us and went on a break. Had to get up and ask for the bill. The waitress I asked to get the bill was very rude and told me “you didn’t get the bill because you didn’t ask for it” well I couldn’t ask for it because there was no one at out section. Also they changed their tea selections to a very generic brand and charge 10$ for it, not worth the quality.

    The brunch at Marcus is always good. The ambiance is very good and it is perfect for catching up with friends. The only thing that is not good is the inflexibility to change tables. I did not like where they sat me and the staff told me they couldn't change my place although I could see other tables available.

    Used to love brunching at the Marcus, but I feel like they've been dropping the ball lately. Service was just okay, they messed up my order. Everyone at my table got their order, I had to wait till they redid it. Everyone else was almost done eating by the time I got my correct order. Was charged 12$ for a tiny birthday cake that we didn't even order, even though it was my birthday. For the price paid, plus the errors, I feel like they could've at least given the cake for free. Costed about 100$ a head for a simple brunch that was not spectacular. Will not be returning here anymore in the future.

    for a Four Seasons restaurant, this was disappointing. The menus were so dirty with stains and sticky. Service was incredibly slow and impersonal. Ordered lemons with my water which never came. Food came cold.... not impressed

    This is a beautiful restaurant. The food is not as good as it should be. The service was attentive and efficient. The drinks are expensive but very well made.

    It was an ok but no more than that, especially for the price. Mimosa glasses were dirty and food was tepid, verging on cold.

    Loved our experience, I came here for dinner too once but I enjoyed brunch way more! Food was amazing, the waitress was super nice to us. I will be definitely coming back for brunch again!

    It's not the first time to dine at Marcus however this time my experience wasn't as good as it always used to be. The food came at least an hour later. When I ordered the dessert menu it came again more than half an hour later. The place wasn't even half occupied for the food to come that late. When I looked at the receipt in the car I realized they charged twice for a dish when we just ordered and got one. This was our first anniversary dinner and I don't think we made the right choice choosing Marcus.

    The pasta with the lobster was amazing! The service impeccable. Your staff - so happy and always smiling. The place is probably the most beautiful in Montreal. Bravo!

    Been to so many good restaurants and this is really not what it’s hyped up to be. Cocktails were good. Starters, baratta ordinary with the pea purée in top The squid you could have much better ones at other restaurants Their pasta with lobster again nothing to talk about The salmon was overcooked The truffle french fries had to be returned. They showed up at the table and they were lukewarm. The side dish of mushroom was excellent would have that again in a heartbeat. The lamb was good. Desserts. OK but nothing to talk about The restaurant, however, is beautiful, but beware the parking is complicated you show up, expecting to take valet and if you’re not staying at the hotel, you have to bring your car down in a parking to then get it valet. Places like daniel boulud, Morretti, grinder etc all have valet shocking to see a four season doesn’t offer that.

    This time I wasn’t impressed, coffee was cold & ask for warmer, it wasn’t great. The fruit plate wasn’t good, smells onion must cut either the cutting board or the knife. We order brown bread, we get white. Scrambled egg dish than god was fine. Thanks

    Très étonnant de constater que ce resto est dans un grand hôtel de luxe de Montréal. Nous y étions pour le brunch. Nous n’y retournerons pas. Beau menu , mais la nourriture servie dans les plats est très en dessous de la moyenne pour ce genre de brunch offert au centre ville de Montréal.

    I liked that they were still sneaking in the summer vibe in mid-October using summer squash with the filet and watermelon in the tomato salad. The truffle fries were really nice.

    Food was plain and tasteless. Ridiculously overpriced : 52$ for 6 unfrozen tasteless and overcooked small shrimps in a sauce without any texture, spicy or punch is just ridiculous. Very noisy.

    My recent visit to Marcus for brunch was a total disaster from beginning to end. It was a series of disappointments that left me questioning why this place is even in business other than being part of a well established hotel. We waited an agonizing 45 minutes before we were served sparkling wine. The waitress comes back with Laurent Perrier. We tell her that's not what I've shown her on the menu, only to be told after another 10 minutes searching for it that they had run out, and they substituted it with petnat without asking. When we requested Prosecco, we were eventually served cava, which is sold for $18 at the local liquor store but outrageously listed at $80 here—clearly an attempt to gouge customers. We specifically asked for peach nectar to make Bellinis, but we were given Guava juice instead. The waitress had trouble understanding our requests and didn't speak French, making communication difficult and confusing. To add to the disappointment, we waited for over an hour and still didn't receive our coffee. The lobster omelette, priced at $31, was bland and lacked any accompanying sides. The remoulade was more generous than the few sparse pieces of lobster, leaving us feeling hungry and unsatisfied. I decided to order a side of lobster, listed at $40. I expected a reasonable portion of lobster to complement my meal. However, I was told that ordering a side of lobster was not possible without getting the whole seafood tower and was instead urged to order the crab and lobster dish, but without the crab and so extra lobster for $89. The logic behind this was incomprehensible. One of our guests was interrupted mid-meal as the waitress removed her plate, leaving her holding her bagel. Having studied AND worked in hospitality for years, this lack of professionalism was astonishing. To top it all off, the manager, David, was rude and dismissive. He justified the disappointing omelette by stating it was their #1 seller and that the current market price for lob
