   The food was good, but the service was not the best. We didn’t feel very welcome when we first went in. Our waitress was very nice, but it seemed restaurant was short staffed. I really wish my experience would have been better, specially for Mother’s Day. 😕

   The atmosphere was too quiet no music nor entertainment it was just the four walls with tables it felt like a banquet. The staff was attentive I think this was all new to them and they was short staffed with two servers. The food selection was very limited and the dessert selection was bought from some market and spruced up at the restaurant. Rice & beans was cold. I thought it was just my plate but it wasn’t I asked my party and their plates also was cold. One of the order I had to tell then to redo due to the shrimps not fully cooked which was the passion fruit shrimp aguachiles. They was supposed to have them marinated in lime juice for at least 30 minutes instead they dress it up and served it and didn’t give it enough time for the juices to marinate.They did have some good items the charred octopus and the ceviche was on point. Other than that work in progress.

   We had a reservation at noon for 7 people. Which was confirmed thru open table. We get to the restaurant and it’s CLOSED. no sign of life anywhere. How is this possible??? OT confirmed reservation. I certainly would never eat here again and perhaps never trust OT again.

   What a great place. The food was amazing and the service was as well. The octopus appetizer was so good we ended up ordering a second one. The entrees were delicious as well. I highly recommend.

   The food was amazing. We had an early dinner so the restaurant was quiet. What a wonderful experience. Our favorite was the Octopus Pibil appetizer, it was tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the Ceviche made from Mahi Mahi, the Grilled fish entree, Carne Asada and the delightfully spicy Cameron’s Al Diablo.

   We took a chance by eating off the strip on a Thursday night and it really paid off. The dining room was very nicely done and while there was only one other (pretty large) table there, it felt like a very welcoming place. We ordered two appetizers - the tuna tostada and the octopus - and both were fantastic, with many layers of flavors despite very simple presentation. We were also very surprised by how good the garbanzo salsa was. We had a whole branzino for our main course and it was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent - we had good conversation with (I presume) the owner and he was very helpful/knowledgeable/available. If you like Mexican flavors in your seafood (they also have several steak dishes which we did not try by the neighboring table did), then this is a great choice for you.

   The biggest hidden gem in Vegas! It’s about 10 minutes from the strip and well worth the excursion! John is an amazing chef - he took such good care of us! I’m still dreaming of their tuna tostada. What an awesome menu - you won’t be disappointed. They can easily accommodate large groups and it’s super easy to get in and out! Can’t wait to go back!

    Great off-the-Strip lunch option. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. It definitely lived up to the rave reviews found on Yelp. Dessert options limited, but quality and taste of the rest of menu makes up for it and its location.

    Amazing in every way!! Highest compliments to John Sosa, one of the proprietors, and his partner David. They were very hand on, made excellent suggestions, knew every ingredient and prepared everything exactly as explained. This was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, including fine restaurants I visited in Mexico City. We started with the Fresco Ceviche and Chiccharron de Ribeye as appetizers. These were tantalizing in their own right. The Whole Grilled Fish (Bronzino) was artfully presented and expertly prepared. Every bite was a delicious treat to the last. Even what would normally be a basic Flan dessert was a next-level delight. I can’t wait to go back to Las Vegas to eat here again.

    This restaurant is off the beaten path of the Strip but well worth the 10 minute drive. Some of the best ceviche we’ve ever had started our meal & set the tone for everything being as fresh as possible. Yes fish in the desert - it’s amazing! Our dinners were recommended by the waiter (might be the owner from his command of the place!). Fantastic food - shrimp sautéed in a tomato sauce with peppers & onions along with rice and beans - amazing - and a flank steak with incredible seasoning & beans & rice. The whole experience was incredible & we highly recommend this restaurant!

    Food did not disappoint it was so delicious!! Totally would recommend and do not regret getting off from strip. Only negative I can come up with is the lack of cocktails but a beer did the job and they do offer wine selection.

    We ordered the oysters, Tuna Tostada, and the Grilled Branzino!! Everything tasted Amazing!! Wait staff provided excellent service and the chef even came out to check on us and made sure everything was to our liking. Great spot about 10 min from strip but worth the drive!!

    Best Mexican Food Ever. Gourmet! I was here on business and randomly picked a place to have dinner with clients. We took an Uber there and were a bit apprehensive as it was in an old mini mall. We decided to give it a try because we had plans that evening. Well, much to our surprise, the table literally went silent when we each took our first bite of appetizers. It was beyond delicious and flavorful. Each taco had its own unique taste. One of us had been to Mexico City many times and had eaten at the best restaurants there and said it superseded the best. We ended up talking about the meal all night. Everything we ordered was delicious. They do not sell alcohol but you could bring your own wine, beer. Highly recommend! Rarely will take time to write a review here but this restaurant was well deserving of a good one. We will definitely go back and have told our colleagues who also go to Vegas on business from time to time and fine dine everywhere there. It is a small, not far off strip, unique find.

    We were visiting Vegas from ATL for the weekend. I booked the reservation via Opentable for my husband and I for early Friday afternoon. As we pulled into the parking lot, we thought we had made a high mistake. Lol. But instead, it turned out to be one of the best experience of our weekend! The food was OUTSTANDING!!! It is cooked to order and super fresh. It was some of best tasting food we have had in a long time. Although restaurant is in a strip mall, it could easily compete with any 4-5 star restaurant in Atlanta. John, the owner, is wonderful. He recommended dishes and chatted with us with we were old friends. We highly recommend this restaurant. We loved this place and highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

    John & David the chefs took personal care of us. The service was authentic, attentive and above all, with love. They really know how to combine different ingredients to elevate the tastes. The tuna tostados, grilled octopus and grilled fish with grilled peppers were all outstanding. I highly recommend any one interested in a superb Mexican meal to try our El Fresco's

    Came for a buddy’s bday with 4 others. All I have to say is you better try this place before it’s so busy you can’t get a table. It will happen, this place will be difficult to get into because it’s that great. Must try tuna tostadas, the ceviche (somewhat unique & bursting with flavor), and the octopus.     Just get past the exterior and walk into a cozy ambiance with great service and even better food. Trust me you will be happy you did. The quality & presentation of this menu is equivalent to any LV strip restaurant. The chicharrones appetizer & branzino were perfectly prepared.     I never leave any reviews but let me tell you, do not get distracted by the decor or if it’s not packed like other marisco places, YOU MUST TRY IT I promise you’ll not regret it. Good was delicious and service exceptional

    Food is unique and outstanding. Area the restaurant is in is a little funky and the restaurant decor is pretty basic, but the food is great—nothing like it on the Strip. Moderately priced. Try the Ribeye Chicheron or the Tuna tostadas — they are excellent. The branzino was great too! Service was friendly and attentive.
