Take a trip down to the vibrant Windsor end of the street and you’ll find a little piece of Turkey in the form of Marmara Restaurant, one of Australia’s longest-standing Turkish restaurants. Established all the way back in 1980, Marmara is well versed in serving up delicious grilled meats, mezze, Turkish pides and more to the people of Windsor. We recommend heading over and trying one of two banquets on offer, a fine selection of Marmara's finest home made dips, side dishes, seafood and grills including iskender, lamb fillets, chicken fillets and lamb cutlets. Vegetarians will find plenty of choice too. Amazing colourful and cosy ambience unlike any other Turkish restaurant.

    The food was amazing! The service is really good, been there like 5 times! You can't go wrong with the Classic Banquet but everything in the menu is amazing! This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants!

    The food was delicious! Staff were very attentive and pleasant. The only thing I would like to see changed was the music, in favour of some Turkish music, in order to add to the ambience.

    Have visited Marmara a few times previously my party & I usually choose the special banquet which offers a taste of what's on the a la carte menu the wines are reasonable too

    Everything was wonderful. I requested for a surprise birthday wish for my husband and all staff did it to perfection. Thank you so much for that. I really appreciate the friendly staff. We will definitely go back to Marmara again.

    We have been c coming here for a decade or even longer but lately the amount of food has changed dramatically, the serves aren't as generous as in the past, for example an eggplant main meal was half a small eggplant, another meal that was supposed to have feta on top had less than a tea spoon of the cheese. Overall great service but there does seem to be a change in amounts which I think reflects poor value for money.

    Nice restaurant but the food was disappointing. I'm very familiar with middle eastern food, and I found the food here pretty bland and lacks spices. The dessert was pretty much a pear puree with a bit of cinnamon on it, similar to what it tasted like from a can.

    We went and celebrated my brothers birthday. We were blown away by how delicious the food was. Even more so, the really adorable prices. The restaurant was so small and intimate and the experience was just so lovely, we said we would definitely go back! Staff were so friendly and warm too.
