   The special chicken was supposed to be deboned with a leg. Three legs and a wing section came. Not as described but they did offer to change it. My lillet was all ice no alcohol and my friends drink was not as requested My pasta dish and the oysters were excellent

   Well, as a local, I have avoided this place for years thinking it was a tourist trap, but we were goin to see Phantom you I figured we have to go French and give this try. It was really terrific. Food ambience and service all way above average. To be specific, we had escargots and salmon tartare for the first course and duck confit and branzino for the second.

   They were understanding when we were late for our reservation. The food was very good, the wine was excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonable for the theater district.

    We were delighted to introduce a good friend to Marseille yesterday evening for dinner - we arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking due to a change in plans! We got a delightful booth-type table - and ordered appetizers while we looked over the wine list. After tasting the chardonnay-by-the-glass, we spoke to the sommelier who made a recommendation based on our group's wine preference. He recommended a particular vineyard whose chardonnay was very similar to our preference and it WAS delicious! It was perfect with my husband's and my stuffed trout. Our friend had the lamb shank and nonetheless, enjoyed every drop of the chardonnay.

    Nice place for lunch. Bistro type fare done well. Nice wine selection small but enough. Good fries! Sandwiches were good size. Niçoise salad great!

    Great location to Times Square without being centered in the bustle. Food was delivered "stat" so if you're planning to make a show they definitely accommodate.

    I was disappointed. The French Onion soup was not covered with a layer of cheese, just some bobbing bits of cheese covered bread. The Eggs Benedict had a very good sauce, but the Canadian bacon [or whatever it was] was thin and tasteless. The chef does not use salt, does not lemon juice. So, the food is flat. I wanted something great. This was not.

    This is our second time dining here for brunch. The service is outstanding and the food is amazing. This restaurant is beautifully decorated and the dining experience is excellent. We will definitely be back.

    We were surprised that we were seated outside. It was a rainy and cold evening and honestly the small shed should not have been open. However, we made the most of it, ordered soup and wine, warmed up a bit and went forward. We decided that the chill might be preferred to the noise inside. Meal was very good, short ribs, salmon, branzino. Dessert was extraordinary, Meyer lemon tart and crème brûlée.

    The food was subpar. Drinks were good as always. It took forever to be seated. This seems to be a bottomed for them on a consistent basis.

    The salade Nicoise was as good as any in France that I have eaten AND the portion was huge! Our server Katarina was attentive and personable - a perfect combination. Great for pre-theater lunch.

    The restaurant was too noisy to hear the people across from us at our table for 4. The food overall was very good but the salmon was fishy. They seemed to forget about us after serving our entrees, and didn’t come to clear our plates or take dessert orders even after we called the server over and they said they’d be “right back.” After complaining to the manager, however, the restaurant gave us all dessert on the house.

    Wait staff was not attentive. Messed up our order, then after apologizing, they let us sit there with empty drinks and empty plates for 25 mins before checking in. We skipped the free apology desert they offered and left. Food was good though.

    We were seated upon arrival which was a nice start. The menu was smaller than that it was on our first visit a few years ago. The waiter was friendly and gave recommendations. The food was very good. We had the steak and sea bass special.... but nothing stood out and made me say "I can't wait to come back and have this again."
