It was a great place! We went for my daughters birthday and the food, and service was fabulous.

Food was great . Atmosphere and drinks were fantastic. Server was at our table every few minutes and made it hard to have a conversation as she kept interrupting

We were a little disappointed in the quality of food, particularly the pizza. It was not up to par and definitely not as good as the two previous times we have visited. Otherwise, service was good and your staff are excellent as far as being friendly and accommodating.

Amazing food, great service! It’s our family restaurant in Nelson! We have four kids and there are smiles all around!

Most everything was great however 2 of our party of 6 had the prawn puttanesca pasta. It was very disappointing.

This is by far the best pizza in town, feels Luke you are in Italy

This was a great place to try during our weekend road trip to Nelson, BC. Restaurant aesthetic was paired well with the ambience of mood lighting. Tables were appropriately spaced or sectioned off for social distancing. Host & serving staff are all super friendly and continued to make sure the areas we clear and clean. Last but not least, food had perfect flavouring - we ordered the Kutenai Chai Latte, Meatballs (definitely love it with the sauce), Prosciutto Pizza (with Roasted Mushrooms added), Chicken El Forno (perfect kick to the spices used for this pizza) & Pistachio Cardamom House-made Gelato. We would definitely come back here when we are in Nelson, BC again!

Had an amazing meal and service. The squid appetizer is delicious. We had a wonderful time and our Australian waitress was so outgoing and attentive. We will definitely visit again❤️

Went specifically for the Gluten Free pizza (which was amazing as always). We called ahead earlier in the day to have them reserve one of the GF doughs for us b/c they often run out on a busy Friday, which was a good call b/c they had run out by the time we arrived for our reservation at 6:15pm, but had saved us one!

Love the ambiance—we specifically requested a booth (which was lovely) b/c we'd sat at one of the round tables near the pizza station before and felt a bit cold/exposed there. This time was perfect.

Marzano’s came recommended ...pizza was only warm when served and bland...other meal was spaghetti and meatballs...hardly any sauce which was bland as were the meatballs...can’t recommend after our experience.

We were able to create our own meal by ordering sides and blending them together- this suited both my wife and myself. The squid appetizer was delicious and everything was reasonably priced. Great way to celebrate our 435th anniversary !!

Amazing Italian style pizza, wonderful atmosphere and service! Really enjoyed the complementary sparkling water. Highly recomended.

Food was disappointing and the service was just ok

I've been to New York several times and to Italy at least three times. I was in Naples last year. I've had pizza everywhere and the pizza I had at Marzano was as good if not better than anything I've ever had. And my starter, the grilled calamari with deep-fried croutons, was incredible. Totally original presentation with unique flavours and textures. The restaurant has a modern and high-end Manhattan feel to it. Service was attentive. I highly recommend.

Slow service. Not that busy Had to flag someone down to take our order and bring the bill.

We felt safe in the restaurant with servers wearing masks and seeing them disinfecting surfaces. Food good, well presented.
Wish that North American servers would adopt the European custom of NOT asking customers how the food is! We come to your restaurant because we know it is good.

We especially liked the pizza. We ordered a second pizza as the first one was too spicy. The management were accommodating to our needs and treated us well.

My friend and I had a Delicious time sitting on the patio. Sunny skies then protected by rain with big umbrella. The Duck pizza is outrageously good. Paired with a bottle of red. Rotolo a pasta stuffed with mushrooms and other yummy things was our appetizer. And they had some sort of dark chocolate and a bit of ice cream dessert. We split all this in joyous delight (might have been the red wine). We keep coming back and getting that pizza. Highly recommend for food and ambiance!

My husband and I were staying in Nelson for a short getaway from the Okanagan. There are plenty of very nice places to eat in this beautiful town and I am very glad we chose to have our "fancy" dinner here.
Firstly, the restaurant is soooo beautiful, inside and out. On my reservation I had asked if we could be seated at a booth and they happily obliged by having one ready for us on arrival!
I had a classic Aperol Spritz cocktail that was very yummy, reminded me of being in Rome. To eat we started with the marinated olives that are in house made as per our server and very delicious. We then shared the meatballs and the starter size gnocchi - both very good but both were in tomato-based sauces that we overlooked so it was a bit much, no big deal though. The meatballs were very tender and the gnocchi soft with the right bounce back mouth-feel. We also shared the duck pizza that my husband and I enjoyed half of later that night because we became so full after starters and drinks.
The service was great, not too doting which I enjoy. Very polite and gave us space, picked up dishes when they were cleared and delivered drinks and food in timely fashion.

Service was really good from the first step through the door. Britney was
very knowledgeable about items on the menu. She looked after us four in a very examplary. Food and presentation was very good. Would recommend to family and friends.
