It was our first visit for my son’s 18th birthday. The waitress was outstanding!! The food amazing. We will be back another time. I thought they would have done a wee special treat for the birthday boy but it didn’t happen. When I reserved the table it asked about the occasion. That is where I said it was a birthday. Cheers 🥳

Wonderful sushi restaurant located in the heart of NOTL. The food is very authentic and the service was exceptional. Large selection of Sake if you’re into that. Would highly recommend!

Tasty sushi with some unique twists on classic rolls and appetizers. A little on the pricey side … would recommend for a nice evening out. Service was exceptional and presentation beautiful.

We love Masaki! It is quiet, service is wonderful and the food is fantastic. So happy they have expanded the dining room to accommodate walk-ins (although we always reserve). The Tempura Udon is always so generous and flavorful! This time we tried the house specialty sushi: Blushing Salmon roll with raspberry sauce. One word- wow! A subtle taste explosion. Beef and pork gyoza is also a go-to. So tender with a fresh ginger tang. Many thanks to Shiho for friendly service. We feel so comfortable here.

Still the best Japanese restaurant in the region. Freshness and quality of food is top notch. We’ve been coming to this place ever since they opened and we have always been pleased and happy with the food and service. We always recommend this place to everyone.

Like real sushi? I don't mean California roll or Dragon, I mean real sushi? Tired of the wineries? This is the best place! They fly in their fish so it's always fresh as can be. Sit at the bar so you can see the artisans at work. We're local and come here every couple of months. Can't recommend this place any higher.

We go to Masaki every time we’re in NOTL. It is simply the best. Oysters were super fresh and well garnished. Who wants horseradish to overwhelm the subtle oyster flavours. Agedashi tofu app was succulent. Pork belly main was luscious and the seafood bowl was superb. Stays hot forever which to me is a great thing. Some sake and a little wine and you’ve got quite the experience.

If you are looking for quality Japanese cuisinem Masaki needs to be on your food destination list. Everything from start to finish was superb. The Maskaki Team work together very well and their collective efforts are the pinnacle of the food the serve.

Our reservations were right as the restaurant opened. They weren’t prepared for our arrival. It took over 10minutes to be asked for our beverage. There was no background music or anything playing - very awkwardly quiet, it felt like we couldn’t even speak. Food was cold, almost like they pulled it out of a refrigerator and warmed it up. Very disappointed overall

This is a nice quiet place for a meal. A great location for pre-theater dinner at the shaw. The only negative thing about this place is the navigation of the stairs to enter the place. It is not wheel chair accessible.
