The food was very delicious. Our server, I forget his name, was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. The portion sizes were perfect for the price. We didn’t have a great night(weather wise), but I’m sure the view would have be breathtaking. My Girlfriend and I were celebrating an anniversary and it was a perfect date night experience. Thank You!
You really cannot beat the view! We got a table by the window and were able to enjoy the falls throughout our whole dinner. We both did the 3- course meal and I feel it was very reasonable for all the food we received. I would definitely go back.
The view was awesome. The drinks were amazing! The food we ordered was good, portions were very small though. The way our table was placed, was very inconvenient, we were very close to the bar and the kitchen. We felt like we were in the way of the waiters and waitresses that were carrying food and drinks to their table. Our waiter was very friendly and answered all of our questions.
So disappointing! Way too dark you can't even see what your eating. The pasta was such a small portion and mushy, definitely not al dente. But what really made me upset was when I examine my bill the next day. They charged a 46.00 late fee because we were late 15 minutes due to trying to find a limited parking spot. This is highway robbery. This was my first time and last. I tried calling the restaurant the next day several times to speak to a employee regarding this but alway connected to voice mail.
We were vacationing in N
Really fun. Exceeded expectations. I would go again.
Meghan was wonderful
Very friendly people
Loved the food
Hope to come by again
Beautiful view of both the American and Canadian falls from this restaurant. Wine list is mostly local wines - only two wines available (by the glass) that were not. My husband and I split the house salad (delicious) and an entree (tortellini with truffle cream) - both were very good. You are paying a premium for the falls view - dinner for two (splitting salad and entree with one glass of wine each) was over $100 USD. Service was excellent.
Lovely young lady served us. Good food and incredible view - breathtaking
For most of my friends this place would be too expensive. The view was the best part and you can get that by walking down to the falls.
The view and the service were outstanding and my roasted beet salad was excellent. Unfortunately the main course, pasta with Brussels sprouts, was mediocre at best. I expected it to be better than it was for the price. My husband felt the same about his main course pasta dish.
The food was amazing, the view of Niagara Falls was exactly what I was hoping it would be, and our server was helpful when trying to decide what to get and didn't rush us through our meal. We will be back!
Beautiful view of the falls!! Excellent service the moment we checked in for our reservation. The staff was very accommodating when we asked for a window seat view. Our server was knowledgeable on all the specials and recommended wines that would compliment our foods. Would recommend this place to anyone who is going to be staying in this area!
Food and service were primo!
Our server was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
The food was average and the portions are very small and over priced. No bread provided for the table unless it was ordered as an appetizer. The view is beautiful and that is what you are paying for.
Very nice view, good service, but expensive compare to the quality of the food
Ambience was great! Fantastic view and service was excellent. Food was fabulous. Definitely will come back again.
Awesome! Great service and spectacular view!
The view is the main attraction and main purpose for going here; the drinks/salads/entrees were good.
Overall wonderful experience. The only slight criticism is that it was rather cold from the air conditioning. Otherwise service, food and view was fantastic. Will be back again.
Spectacular! We were staying at the Sheraton on the Falls, so I picked Massimo's for convenience. It was our wedding anniversary, our table was right up against the windows for a full view of both the American & Canadian falls. The falls light show was in full effect during our meal. The service was impeccable, and the food was top notch. It was not cheap but worth every penny. We chose the prefixe meal which includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert for each. The app course was big enough to share. The entree was big enough that we both took home the leftovers, and the dessert was so good none of it left the table!
Fantastic view of the falls. Beautiful food and very knowledgable and friendly staff. Well worth a visit, will definitely go back.
Very good food, a little pricey for pasta. However, the total experience was good. Server was incredibly polite and helpful, but slower than I would have liked. Had to wait about half hour to get bill and pay while she attended to people just sitting down.
Out of 9 of us, only 3 enjoyed their meals. It was very expensive and the quality of food (especially the bolognese, duck and chicken dishes) were lacking. The shrimp linguine and tenderloin were good. The local fee is ridiculous, but we were happy that it was removed upon request. We spend over $700 and we left hungry, that’s not right.
As always we get a few appetizers to split and they are always fantastic.
Despite terrible management, the food and service were wonderful! I made a reservation more than 3 weeks in advance and requested a table with a view for our 11th wedding anniversary and my daughter’s 9th birthday. We had to wait 15 mins before we were seated at a table without a view. We decided to return to our hotel room (since we are also guests at the Sheraton Falls View Hotel) to view the fireworks, which were spectacular. I expected more from a top-rated restaurant in terms of experience, but the management policy is really lacking. Thanks to Sasha, our server, who did her best to make our evening special - but I would recommend another venue if you want to celebrate something special...Your management policy is horrible - and you are lucky to have exceptional staff, but they can only do so much. I regret not going to the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant!
Over priced. We asked to move to a window table and they just ignored us. I was proposing to my girlfriend that night.
Chevonn was an excellent waitress and we had a great time for our anniversary. It was the best all around!
The best Italian food I ever had.
This restaurant is a must.
The rigatoni bolognese and the salmon were excellent.
Amazing place. Exceeded expectations!! Pricey but you get a lot of food so i would say it was worth the price. Will come back!
We had great service from Siobhan, and we had a fantastic experience with a great view! Would highly recommend dining here.
Honestly this restaurant was really nice appearance wise but the food was sub par for what we paid. I got bruschetta that was ice cold And my gnocchi was like $35 and tasted like it was made with canned pasta sauce. It was my anniversary and I really wanted to go somewhere romantic and it visibly was but both me and my boyfriend were disappointed.
We were looking forward to our meal at Massimo’s as we had read some rave reviews.
Our server was very attentive and professional. The complimentary olive bread was delicious.
The rest of the meal was a total disaster.
My husband chose the calamari. The coating had a cloudy taste and the calamari was not hot. The very tasty dipping sauce could. It save this dish.
My Caesar Salad was the worst I have ever had. The lettuce was old and limp with some rust at the edges. There was no Parmesan cheese or anchovy as described on the menu. The garlic dressing was very thin. There were no croutons. I could not eat this dish.
We both chose the Shrimp Linguini as our main course. This was another tasteless mess. There was one grilled shrimp, a couple of very thin slices of cheese and about three other shrimp cut in half on top of the pasta. The white sauce was totally tasteless and milky. There was not one herb or spice in it, Nor were there any vegetables such as onion, red pepper in the pasta sauce. This dish cost $44 per person. What a waste of money.
We will never go back to this restaurant and would not recommend it.
Wait staff was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu available. We went before the large dinner rush, but seating is not very cramped and still offer great views. My wife and I went with the pasta dishes made in house, recommended by our waiter (wish I remembered his name, he was great!) and it was wonderful. This really is a great spot for Italian food at Niagara. Also, eat the bruschetta, you will taste the fresh ingredients and the bread perfectly torched; quote me. Massimo’s was great.
We had a very nice dinner. Unfortunately the vegan pasta came with cheese on the top??? Even though we had asked several times about vegan options. Also there were no vegan deserts and the waiter thought that a chocolate ganache was vegan until we pointed out that it probably had cream or milk in it. The lamb was a little dry and over cooked the veggies, warm olive, calamari and muscles were great. The atmosphere was calm cozy and very relaxing. We were made to feel very welcome and so we stayed there to watch the fire works after our dinner.
The view was incredible and the food/wine delicious. The service was amazing as our waiter greeted us with Happy 45th anniversary and glasses of Prosecco. Impressive!
Food Nothing spectacular.
Server was attentive. Good wine.
