A wonderful upscale dining experience overlooking Niagara Falls. The food was great and Kailey was a wonderful server. We would definitely recommend.
The view was amazing - as well as the food! We chose the tasting menu and had leftovers for lunch the next day. Our waiter, Christian, added insight to the menu and helped make our dining experience even better!
Highly recommended for couples or families.
We had a table of 6, including a toddler. The food was excellent. Our waiter, Anthony was attentive and great!
There were 5 of us and none of us enjoyed our meal. One was very cold when served, mine was medium warm. We would never return there or recommend to anyone. The price definitely was very overpriced vs the quality of the food.
Wedding Anniversary with kids attending
Beautiful view of the Falls and the food is as good as the views ! Ask for Sasha she was a great waitress!
The restaurant had a lovely view of the falls from almost anywhere in the restaurant. I was very happy with my choice of arctic char and tiramisu for dessert. The second entree at the table was the filet dish which was unfortunately underwhelming. There is a large wine selection that highlight some some of the best local wines as well as reputable international choices. Overall we had a great time, thank you Massimo’s!
Service was excellent! Anthony was attentive, helpful with recommendations, and very kind!
Waiter was amazing, for was great, view was awesome!
The food is pretty good. The waitress we had was inexperienced. Her manager handled the situation nicely though
The food was very delicious, and the view was unparalleled. We (6 of us) all got the 3 course meal, and 1 bottle of wine. No one came to check on us and pour more wine into our glasses as is typically customary in higher end restaurants. The food was exceptional, we all really enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. The only slight downgrade was the dessert. There was no tiramisu, which was upsetting for an Italian restaurant, and the lemon curd had a cottage cheese texture instead of a creamy one. The service, toward the end of the night seemed to drop off. Getting our checks was a huge hassle and took far more time than necessary.
Overall, we did have a great time and very much enjoyed our food.
Too over priced for the quality of food we received.
Overall a great experience. Don’t expect to spend less then $60 a person but it is worth it. Unlike some other falls restaurant you are getting great food and a great view. It doesn’t come with that tourist trap feel, and the view is amazing. I will definitely be coming again.
I booked a table thru open table and requested a view of the falls for my husband's 55th birthday. We were not disappointed! We got a great table and was served by Chevonn who was fabulous!! She helped us pick out a wondeful wine and was very attentive to our needs. The food was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We watched the fireworks and the illumination of the falls over dessert. I would highly recommend Massimos for a lovely dining experience.
Gorgeous ambiance and view of Niagara Falls. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Definitely on the pricey side but worth the experience.
We had a lovely experience at Massimos! We were a party of four and everyone loved their food. Delicious flavours, beautifully presented. Excellent service from all staff. Beautiful view! We will return
We highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Massimo's due to the incredible panoramic view of Niagara Falls from our table, and our gracious and attentive server, Anthony. Anthony's friendly, and professional demeanor made us feel welcomed and valued from the moment we were seated right through to our meal's conclusion. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, Anthony treated two seniors like celebrities, and provided a truly memorable dining experience. Both our appetizer selections, the beef carpaccio and the mussels, were well prepared and delicious. The mussels were a very large portion and could easily have been shared. Based on other reviews, we both ordered the carbonara which did not disappoint. The sauce had just the right amount of creaminess for a carbonara, not too thick, and was generously topped with double-smoked bacon and Parmesan-Reggiano. We were impressed by the many local Niagara region wines on the wine list, and selected a bottle of the Tawse rose as the perfect accompaniment to our food selections. Our dessert choices, a lemon budino and plum/almond tart (not too rich or sweet) completed this excellent meal. Many thanks to those in the kitchen, and to Anthony. We look forward to future dining at Massimo's.
A great spot for a less touristy dinner while in Niagra Falls. Food was good, decent wine was available but it was pricey for sure, albeit everything in Niagra Falls is at tourist level pricing and I mean everything!! Sasha was an AWESOME server at the Restaraunt and definately made it a great evening. YOU ROCK SASHA!!!
The restaurant was located in a fantastic setting. The food was excellent and service good. However the only thing that spoilt our experience was that there was a group of men who were VERY loud and noisy which put a dampener on the night.
It was a nice experience. We had dinner for 6 and we got a table near a window we had partial view of the falls. The place is nice and big, but I little to noisy.
The food was excellent, all dished we had were perfect.
This place was amazing! From the view to the food to the staff! I could not have had a better experience! So glad we came here! Their carbonara is to die for! And the shrimp linguine!
We ordered calamari Fritti and focaccia to start. Calamari tasted like frozen ones from local supermarket. Nothing impressive about Focaccia. For main we ordered penne arabbita. The sauce primarily consisted of chili flakes mixed with a thin tomato juice. We also ordered Gnocchi which was better but was topped with ricotta cheese that was super cold and this ruined the experience. Left the place very disappointed
15th Wedding Anniversary.
Food did not live up to the price. $150.00 Canadian for average pasta was way too much. Andiamo's is much better and a 1/3 the price.
Anniversary dinner and treated like another customer. Entre good rest not good. Desert horrible.
It was my birthday and we had to waive servers down to even get acknowledged after waiting 10-15 mins at the table (and the resturant isn’t very big). The food was alright, the ambiance was nice, but I was not impressed with the resturant especially Because the pictures online looked better. The manager came over and was very helpful with the menu and service, but all around, I wouldn’t recommend this resturant.
The atmosphere was great. The service was perfect. The food was good, basic but good.
Fantastic food. Great service. Beautiful view of the falls. Would recommend to anyone.
We went to Massimo’s for our Anniversary Dinner. It was lovely! The food was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere and service was delightful. The view of the falls made our dining experience relaxing and romantic. We would definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.
Great food, service, and view. The food was delicious. Be sure to ask for a side of their freshly baked bread. Our server, Jenny, was hands down amazing. She juggled multiple tables with a smile, anticipated our needs, and made awesome food and wine suggestions. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.
Quiet night. Views over The Falls are amazing. Menu a little limited. Staff super friendly.
Great service! Sasha was amazing! Loved all the dishes we tried! The gnocchi was the bomb! The tiramisu was divine! Overall experience... excellent!
The view is amazing, the food is average and pretty pricey for this quality.
We ordered bread and it came with no cheese and bitter oil. No good, garlic bread was 16$ over priced but the only good thing to eat. We got penne pasta we asked for not spicy for kid, it was so spicy I couldn't eat (I like and able to handle spicy) pasta was over cooked, and no flavors, some baby tomatoes, nothing savory or Italian, I'm Lithuanian would made it better, and it was I believe over $30. I got risotto, it was under cooked still can feel crunchy parts inside, but since I got spicy pasta from my daughter, she eat it, shrimp was with tails in the risotto with sauce it was hard to eat it and made it hard to cut the tail off in the plate full of risotto, no bottom, no hard surface to cut on. My mom got lamb and it was $48, meat was cooked well, but potatoes and side vegetables were no good, not sure what was it for sure but we left the restaurant with the bill of $220, and in disappointment. Would not recommend for sure.
The vibe in the restaurant was perfect. The view of the falls was beautiful while having dinner with my wife. The food was outstanding
We had an outstanding experience at Massimo's Italian Restaurant this past weekend. Out server Sasha was exceptionally professional and made us feel welcome. Views of the fall are just spectacular. Definitely recommend to visit.
I was hesitant to try this place due to some reviews indicating it was a tourist trap with great views but bad food and service. But we were staying at the Sheraton with two kids so convenience won us over. So glad we tried it because food was great and kids loved the pasta from the kids’ menu. We had the calamari (a little under seasoned with lots of tentacle pieces); mussels (delicious with plump meat); lamb (4 pieces and tasty with delicious vegetable accompaniment) and beef tenderloin (tender and tasty) also with great vegetable plated assortment. Only disappointment was the mediocre dessert (tiramisu and chocolate terrine), which we were too full to enjoy anyway but the meal was so delicious we were expecting a great finish. Still highly recommend and would definitely go back!
We ate here tonight. We were given a fantastic table of the falls although the light in the restaurant didn't allow for very good photos. Starters were good; main was very disappointing and had to be sent back. Second try was better but not worthy of $39. We didn't have time for dessert as we were in a hurry but ended up paying more than the 3 course fixed menu price for just 2; check before you pay! All in all the most impressive part was the view and wouldn't rush back for the food.
Enjoyed our meal. We had a relaxing evening, buewing the falls and fireworks. Our server was great and gave us some helpful hints to enjoy our stay. Free parking with dining is a nice bonus.
