This summer enjoy nightly fireworks at 10pm!
Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. All the staff were wonderful start with the hostess and everyone we had contact with. Our server Michael was fabulous. The meal and of course the view were fantastic.
We had a wonderful dinner with a great view! Very good and friendly service!
My husband and I had dinner here on our honeymoon. It was like a dream! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and the view of the falls and firework show wad simply breathtaking!
Great food and view, but overpriced cost of food. They even charged for bread.
Good food and good service with an amazing view of the Falls. The Lamb Chops I ordered were tasty and cooked medium as requested.
La vista es espectacular, los alimentos son buenos solo que tardaron muchísimo tiempo en servirnos, el servicio bueno en general
Beautiful view, great service. Food was pretty good. We had the Prosciutto-wrapped chicken, Pasta Bolognese, and Carbonara. Started with Caprese and Caesar salads. And the ridiculous $5 bread basket, which should be complimentary and comes with a thimble of olive oil/balsamic vinegar. With a little effort, the food could be much better.
Drinks are good. Nice selection.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had with equally great service. Very pricy, but you get what you pay for. Can’t beat the Fallsview either! Perfect for a date.
All the food was really great. And the sea bass was amazing. From the start with warm olives and bread until dessert, our family had a nice evening and at Massimo’s.
First off the view of the Falls while dining is amazing. Went with my wife and she loved the selection of wine. The portions were perfect and the food was very tasty with alot of flavor. Staff was nice and attentive. Loved it here and if you are in the area check it out. You won't be disappointed.
The restaurant advertises itself as upscale but it really is just another typical overpriced hotel restaurant. Tons of loud children which they can’t control but how about trying to keep the noise down? Many finer establishments will try to keep families a little bit away from the adult diners. Even the background music was loud and not appropriate. I never write bad reviews but felt I had to on this one. We had 2 drinks, a small bowl of olives and 2 pasta dishes. $100.. if you want bread it’s $12. Cmon Massimos..even top NYC restaurants don’t pull this on their patrons. It was a beautiful view but not at that cost.
Not authentic Italian and completely overpriced. Although service was great the food was not.
Food was amazing for all of us! The view was gorgeous, too! Julie was an awesome server.
Not good for cocktails but the wine and food are both great. The staff were great and the singer / guitar entertainment was excellent. Superb for an evening with friends.
The view of the fireworks and falls were amazing. The food was also great. Our server was attentive and very friendly. You can tell he loved his job. We would definitely recommend this place for a great date night with in Niagara.
Our waitress was great but the food was not good at all. For the price of the meal $130 USD I would never go there again. I also find it odd that there is no bathroom in the restaurant itself. You need to walk out of the restaurant and down the hall almost by the elevator.
The crab pasta special we had that night was excellent and one of the best new pasta meals we have tried at a restaurant. The server was very friendly and nice and very helpful when making our decision on what type of food to try. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a 2 or 3 ounce glass of icewine at the end of our meal and it made the stay a memorable one. The view of both Niagara Falls was added attraction that made the night special. Great job to all at the restaurant and thank you for the great experience.
The food was excellent, as was the view. Our waiter, Christian, was very helpful and friendly. Except for its location, I thought it was a little expensive.
Beautiful food overlooking Niagara Falls. The service was excellent. Chris our waiter couldn’t have been more helpful and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend!
I rarely if ever give an "Outstanding" review of any restaurant, but our experience this past weekend at Massimo's was just that. The view of the falls from our table was fantastic. Christian our waiter was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was beautifully presented and the taste was out of this world. We would recommend Massimo's to anyone wanting one of the best dining experiences in Niagara.
Pricey Italian food but, you’re paying for view of the falls. Not the place if you are looking for lasagna and spaghetti.
Manager Jessie ensured our special Anniversary night went fabulous. We were given a table by the window, after I asked for this, and was even offered a pillow for my bad back. Jessie worked hard to provide exceptional service to us and others around. The bartender was great too, and took our dessert request when the waiter was busy. We even were given a glass of champagne to celebrate. The beef tenderloin was exceptional, and the dessert was also amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was very good, a little pricey but what you would expect in Niagara Falls. Our server was fabulous! The hostess was very curt with us, when I made our reservation I asked for a window table if possible, but when she seated us at a table not at the window I asked and she just said “no”. It would have been nice if she had acknowledged our request up front, especially when in the reservation request we said it was an anniversary dinner and our first time to a Niagara Falls. Left us feeling disappointed.
The only thing good about this place is the view. The food is terrible. We ordered the calamari and it was very obvious it was not fresh due to its fishy smell. The Rigatoni was undercooked and the meat they used was not of good quality.
The one good meal that came out was the mushroom risotto with prosciutto wrapped chicken.
Food and views were fantastic. However the experience was not one we would come back for. The food took FOREVER, and waiter disappeared for a while as we were waiting with no apology, just excuses saying the kitchen is busy. Then he brings us the wrong bill twice with another long wait and finally it took atleast 40min to sort out the bill due to errors and ONE credit card machine for the entire restaurant. It's safe to say we will not be back.
Food was spectacular. Our server Michael went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal.
We had a table with a window view which was spectacular!!! The food was delicious and i must say that our waiter - MICHAEL- made our 30th wedding anniversary complete with his professional yet friendly service.
Thank you Massimo's
The appetizers and dessert were delicious. We ordered the risotto and it was way too crunchy and chewy. It took away from the meal because it was too undercooked.
Great food, service average, nice & friendly waitor but main came while we were finshing starter. Wine was served juist before we finished main.
The view is outstanding! The food and menu was quite varied and we enjoyed our dinner very much. Our server Jason went out of his way to make our evening very special. Would definitely dine here again. Thank you!
Dinner was unbelievable! Service was excellent, our waitress and our waiter were super friendly. Great price for the quality of food that you get. All of our dishes were brought out faster than we expected, hot and fresh straight from the kitchen.
We were there for our anniversary and the view of the falls just made it that much more romantic. Drinks were fantastic too! We had a Godfather while we were there. Strong but delicious!!
It was our first time there and I can promise you it won't be our last!
Thank you for the memorable dinner Massimo's.
No real welcome...
room had no ambiance, no "buzz",
poor service.. waiter (Matt) seemed more interested in being a "niagara tour guide" (with other tables), than concentrating on the actual service of the room..Matt also brought me the wrong martini, when I pointed this out he said,"oh ya, that's not a dirty martini..." That's it! And the martini wasn't that good.
didn't clear dirty plates/ glasses..when obviously they were done with..
would have thought bread would have been served ,along with drinks, or at least with appetizer...but had to even ask for it..
bread uninspiring.. tasteless.. have no idea what the "orange" piece was.. pumpkin?, sweet potato?..it was dry anyway
steak not grilled properly..asked for medium rare..
it had been "marked", flipped, and then left to cook, I am guessing.. so top was caramelized, the bottom was a layer of well done meat, and in between was a hunk of RAW meat, basically..I had to send it back to cook as the last part of it was so raw I couldn't eat it, again no apology.
lamb was not seared properly, so fat had not "rendered"as such
Carrot with vegetables was RAW too..
candles on table.. but all in the room left unlit..would have helped with the ambiance
no manager checking room...not even the hostess..
For a "high class restaurant it was totally underwhelming ..food, service, and way overpriced..
Had a much superior meal, and and far superior service at the "Keg", for half the price.
When I made reservation on this site I listed that it was a birthday reservation. Waiter never acknowledge birthday when I went to the manager after the dessert was served, asking her "don't you do anything special for birthdays" and she said "well we can stick a candle in your dessert". I also pointed out some things that we stated above and no apologies not any attempt to try and make our experience better or to rectify the bad service and food.
The only thing I would recommend about this restaurant is to not waste your money!
Quality food in with a world class view.
Excellent selection of wines at reasonable prices.
Kids menu not enough variety
Value for money not there
Very disappointing. Food is average, bland and somewhat tasteless. Beef Carpaccio has mayonnaise on top!? Prices were very expensive, especially for such average food. I like to cook and there are a lot of things I would have done differently. Massimo needs to go there and fix a few things. I wouldn't want my name on that restaurant. Only thing that saves the place is the view of the falls. We should've eaten at the buffet next door. Seriously.
Food and service was very good but for the price I expected table coths and more high end ambiance, it looked like an average casual dining place. Not what we expected of a place bearing Massimo's name.
Excellent view of the false from here, professional waitstaff, quality ingredients, professional preparation.
This was an experience to remember! Elegant setting overlooking the Niagara Falls, kind and professional service from the first hello, and food that was prepared beyond compare.
Our server was an absolute delight. Fun, knowledgeable and professional. The food was a well-choreographed arrangement of flavours that were obviously prepared with intent, experience and passion.
We have raved and recommended Massimo’s to everyone we know and we are already planning our next trip to the Falls just to make a stop at our new favourite place to dine.
Calamari and mussels to start. Large portions. Delicious!!
Filet and fish of day for entree. Cooked to perfection
Wine with dinner a bit pricey, but great suggestion by server.
Server was awesome!!
Very nice quiet meal with great service and very good food.
The place lacks a bit of ambiance but was newly reopened and maybe more flare will be added eventually, great view though.
Nice experience overall, but an appetizer, entree, and a couple of drinks will push the bill over $100.00 per person. The restaurant is good but not that kind of good.
Sorry Massimo’s, but we had dinner the next evening at the Skylon Tower with just as good a meal, a better view, and about half the price.
