I love the lounge and the piano player and sound system was absolutely perfect. She sounded great and it wasn’t too loud. We also got to watch a hockey game on television during our meal. The wait staff was the best I have had.

It was our first visit. The first table we were seated at was directly in front of the kitchen. It was beyond terribly noisy. We asked to be moved because of the noise but the server was wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday which was noted when we made our reservation but this wasn’t recognized nor were we asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. Excessive up charges in my opinion for bread, bottled water and adding bacon to the brussell sprouts for example. These charges were $50 alone. The food was excellent. I would return based on the quality of service and food.

We celebrate at my husband’s birthday dinner at Mastro’s City Hall! It was a beautiful, but hot night in Scottsdale, and we decided to eat outside so that we could dine under the stars and the beautiful ambience! Our server was excellent, and the food was delicious! Another phenomenal birthday celebration at Mastro’s!

It has changed and not for the better. Service slow and could not ‘find’ our table whenever bringing food. Ceaser salad terrible, onion soup not good besides being cold. Tables so close that we had to endure the loud drunk couple next to us. We could not get out of there fast enough. And what’s up with changing for bread!? Only good was lemon drop and dessert. We will have to find somewhere else to celebrate our birthdays & anniversaries. It’s too bad.

We have been going to City Hall for over 20 years and loving it all those years. Unfortunately our experience this last weekend was not the same. We ordered three steaks and one sea bass. The steaks were a horrible quality, no flavor and over cooked. It was absolutely the worst steak I have eaten in over a decade.

The hostesses need better training. We were the first party there at 4:45 with a 5:00 Open Table reservation for two and hostessss sat many parties before seating us. Felt rude and preferential to others. Unprofessional for the ambience and prices at Mastros City Hall. Service was OK - ordinary. For the prices, it should be excellent. The Lobster Bisque arrived cool and I had to ask them to nuke it. And lobster in soup was rubbery and hard to chew. Mastros just isn’t what it used to be. I’ve been patronizing Mastros for 6 years because I live a short walk away and quality all around has declined.

If you want the hottest spot in town for food and atmosphere, look no further than City Hall Steakhouse. It is always fun and always packed with the well-to-do people of Scottsdale and the visitors from the nearby resorts. It's the best steak in town. 5 Star service.

Was not up to the usual quality stand I have come to appreciate and expect from city hall. Waitress didn’t ask which bone in filet size my friend wanted, she didn’t ask it I wanted my rack of lamb cut into per bone pieces, and the lamb was over cooked. They brought the wrong drink to my friend, for his second drink, and had to remake it. It was a disappointing experience for my friend and I.

Best to avoid unless you have 4 hours to spare and no where to go. Server was so condescending and more attentive to others than us. I will most likely never go back for anything more than a cocktail. There’s so many other places with better food, service and overall experience in Scottsdale.

As frequent diners at Mastro’s we have come to expect a level of professionalism and the gold standard as they have always provided an exceptional dining experience and we have enjoyed every moment of it in the past. So when all of our 5 kids were in town at the same time we wanted them to also share in the same tradition of Mastros for special events in their lives and to experience the same level of service . However on our most recent visit on 8/22 unfortunately Mastros missed the mark. Our son ordered the aged Ribeye and our other son ordered a regular ribeye. The aged ribeye came out charred on the outside and blue raw on the inside… and our other sons was just the oppposite. They did proceed to try to remedy both steaks right away but unfortunately the charred one came out even more charred ( burnt ) in order to cook the inside .. what we felt should have been done is not re cook the steak but start over with a new steak . This is one time with all our kids we left disappointed .. we expected exceptional food for a bill that totaled $793 Raquel Cardona

I had ribeye. And it was hard and chewy despite that I ordered medium. They gave me a second piece as replacement. And it was charred. And decided to pass. The manager compensated with dessert. But the overall experience was disappointing.
