The food was amazing when we got it. Lobster mac and cheese, porter steak, other steaks, drinks, etc..All amazing. We were told by the waiter our table is one of the worst sitting areas outside because it was under a tree with falling leaves and where a bird pooped on my boyfriend. Our reservation was for 730pm and we did not get our food until a little after 9pm. Our server kept helping other tables around us even when they got there after us and kept over looking us. 2 out of our 8 people in our party was only 15 minutes late but the waiter would not check on us to see if we wanted any drinks or start with appetizers. Once the whole party was there the waiter still took 30 minutes to order drinks. We should have told him we wanted to order at that time because it took another 15 minutes to get their drinks after they ordered. My group had a fantastic time and like I said the food was amazing. For a $1000 bill we just expected better service and maybe cut down the tree that sits over gorgeous tables so guests don’t get poopped on again. We will definitely be back again. Just maybe with different waiter and may sit inside next time. Thank you,

The steaks are overpriced due to the poor quality. It seems to lack flavor. The sides I ordered were good (garlic mashed potatoes and the creamy corn). Steak 44 is a much better steak at the same price. The service was fair at best. I will not be dinning at Mastro’s in the future.

Food was average and and way too expensive for what we got. Second time here and was much better first time. Very disappointing. And waitress should have told us the bread for the table was extra; we wouldn’t have gotten it. Will not be coming back. The Keg is much better and better value.

Wow, grass-fed ribeye was perfection! Everything was delicious, service was spot-on, great ambiance, and a great wine list! Was beyond full but somehow still took down a butter cake dessert - try it, it’s amazing!!

Lights are so dim the one of the waters told us it’s 2 dark to see anything. Empty pepper shaker. I had to ask multiple times for my credit to be applied. I used to love Mastros but it’s changed and the prices have doubled. The server was nice.

This was a wonderful, traditional steakhouse experience. The appetizers were delicious. The jalapeño tuna sashimi was a highlight. The porterhouse cut was a favorite steak and the lobster mashed potatoes was the perfect choice of side with the steak. Dessert is a must: butter cake!

We had a fantastic evening at City Hall. While we dine there at other times we were celebrating a birthday last evening. They are well staffed and our server Gina was extremely attentive. The food was delicious. The entertainment was great. Overall City Hall was definitely the finest while fun!!

Main course and hot plates were delivered to wrong table. Plates that were at that table, sitting in front of people, were then moved in front of us. We were shocked they did this and asked for new plates. We accepted the meat, but again it was placed at another table, with one person plating the meat on their plate then putting it back. Automated pay system did not work. Dining room was quite warm. Background Music was pop music. Not suitable in my opinion.

The service is great, but the food was not. We ordered steak and it wasn’t cooked how it was supposed to be. We came here a few months ago and we had the same issue but last we came the food was much worse and the service was terrible. We went for Mother’s Day yesterday to let the restaurant redeem itself, but that will be the last time I go to Mastros again. The food just isn’t good enough for them to be charging their prices, for the prices I expect my steak to be cooked exactly how I asked and the max and cheese was also dry and needed some more cheese or heavy cream or something lol. But, it’s okay, it was still fine, just won’t be back!

Horrible service. Food came out Luke warm at best. “Sizzling plates” could be grabbed with your hand… mastros is a Scottsdale staple and unfortunately it has gone so far down hill in quality. Just skip all together.

We were very happy we chose Mastro’s City Hall Steakhouse to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The staff was very attentive and made the entire experience memorable. I had the A5 Wagyu New York Strip steak which melted in your mouth with a very favourable taste. The sides are large and easily shareable. For desert we recommend the Butter Cake w/vanilla ice cream and homemade whip cream. Our server recommended we share the desert which was easily enough for four. We highly recommend Mastro’s to celebrate your special occasion or date night.
