It was surprisingly alot of people out dining for thanksgiving. As always, the service, the food and the ambience was perfect. cant wait to return.
The waiter was rude. He went to hand me a menu and knocked over our Pellegrino on me, soaking me from top to bottom. No apologies, no replacement of my drink. When I told the manager he said he would pay for my dry cleaning. I wasn’t wearing dry clean type clothing. No apologies. Spent $600 for a Thanksgiving meal, I thought would be great for my family. They were out of baked potatoes and many desserts. Very poor planning for a holiday meal. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else. Ruth Chris or Del Friscos would have been better.
The food is impeccable, and the service is good. Indeed, Mastro's is synonymous with most high-end steakhouses. The presentation and decor are 5-star. But the ambiance needs an upgrade. For example, suppose I'm enjoying a $50 steak. In that case, I don't want to hear the same music played at Cheesecake Factory or Chipotle (and that's not a disparagement to Cheesecake Factory or Chipotle).
On the other hand, a filet mignon prepared to perfection with a side of lobster mac-and-cheese and a chilled Old Fashioned merits jazz, Sinatra, or even contemporary jazz. Just something for your consideration. This should be an experience, and these details make the difference.
I’ve been a patron occasionally and have had great experiences until last night. The food was served warm/cold, cocktails were brought out not until after the first course was served, basic requests for bread and limes were overlooked and one final course was not brought out. It got so bad that I had to ask for the manager. I was treating my friend to dinner and was just embarrassed by the entire experience.
We Celebrated my Husband’s BDay! Our Server was outstanding, hands down. His recommendations, his conversation, his timing was impeccable between plates. We enjoyed the live music by the Pianist, we even met another couple who too were celebrating her birthday. Such an enjoyable evening, look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Mastro’s DC, well done!

Everything was great minus valet and the hostess who bagged our food threw out our sides and was about to throw one of our guest porterhouse steak I'm the trash after being informed its all to go.

I always love Mastros… waiter kinda walked off on us when the food came and another waiter came over and assisted said he might have had a long day… small hiccups like my chop was under cooked then came back over cooked lol But none the less I tipped well and Mastros is a go to for me
The food was outstanding but overpriced. The quality of the dining experience was diminished by the amount of noise and the aggressive nature of other diners.
We had literally NO recognition of the event I informed you on when I made the reservation. And then when our server asked us and I told him as well…nothing was done either!!! The event was my girlfriend completing her MBA program. It’s not something annual like a birthday even. I won’t get the chance to take her out somewhere special again now. Just a terrible disappointment and lack of attention to detail by the staff.
Even if a meal is good which I would never say it wasn’t…it’s important to meet the rest of the expectation of the dining experience. I hope you do better for others in the future.
Overall the service and food was not terrible, but not great either. The server himself was very nice; but appeared to be helping too many tables. And the table was so small. We ordered a bottle of wine (which came after our appetizer?). You have a separate place for sparkling water but not for someone who’s buying an expensive bottle of wine? The food wasn’t bad, but also not great for the price. My shrimp was over cooked and the rest sub par. The hostess at the front was super friendly though, we enjoyed chatting with her.

Made a reservation for a birthday dinner on a Monday night, the reservation was for a standard table but we were placed in a high top at the bar area right next to the piano. I mean right next to the piano. We were so close to the piano we couldn’t sit down at the table without moving the stools at the piano and were a pretty fit couple. There was a speaker playing music literally 2 feet from my head. As soon as we get to the table I mean I’m still pulling the chairs out the hostess ask me to take my dress hat off. I wouldn’t have minded but there were ppl of different genetic codes (I’ll leave it at that) sitting eating with hats on. We sat there for no lie and no exaggeration for about 1 hour with nobody coming to our table to even give us water. We flag down the hostess and ask to be seated in a different area we get to the standard table and no lie we had another hr and 30 minutes wait to get our food. It all came out at the same time app and food. I didn’t see the waiter again until I flagged him down for my check. I would not recommend this location at all. And they don’t bring the bottle of wine I ordered. Worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant by far.

Our service was great. Cayley was wonderful. Although she explained the bar was behind it really didn’t take that long. Our server offered us bread for the table but it never came even after she went to check on it. But she never explained why It didn’t come out. It was my first time there overall I enjoyed my experience and the food.
Awesome Restaurant!! Masros is one of the few Steakhouses I go to because the food is top flight!!! Will be back soon!!
I went fir my birthday. I have no complaints other than I ordered my Filet, Oscar Style. It came with just a crab cake on top. I’ve had it Oscar Style at Mastros before, and there was a choice between traditional Oscar (crab meat and Hollandaise sauce) or Crab Cake (WITH HOLLANDAISE SAUCE) a top my steak. This time we had no choice, only the crab cake had no sauce. We asked about it and the waiter said that’s how it comes. Although that was disappointing, overall we had a great time.
This was our anniversary dinner, first time at Mastro’s but it will not be our last. Service was wonderful and the food was excellent

The dinner was the bomb!! I love to go to Mastro’s and had friends in town from Nashville and brought them here. Very good experience as usual! The bone in rib-eye was so good Oscar styled.
Been many times, food and service is always top-notch. Opinions on the ambiance will vary…it’s a bit too modern for me personally…there is typically someone playing piano & the tunes are mostly yacht rock stuff. I’m more of a Sinatra guy for steak night…overall, it’s a great place, but not formal.

We are October babies. Celebrating Our Birthdays. This was Major General John Nelson’s first time. He wasn’t too impressed.‘I talked you all up to get par service. Our dinner plates went to a different table. The runner didn’t know his table .
I was let down with everything even the woman singing in the Bar “ She needs not to sing”🤭🤭.
They got my dessert wrong I ask for the LAYERED CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH WHIP CREAM. They brought out a Chocolate mousse with cream ???? I wasn’t the Tall chocolate 🍰 cake🤔.

The service was slow and we were seated about 20 min after our reservation. Also I noted it was a birthday and they even asked the name of the bday guest when confirming but all the server did was ask again who the bday person was then said happy birthday. Otherwise our server was knowledgeable of the menu and did his best.
