The food is always consistent it was only the service that lacked this time around. Not sure what happened but it seemed like there multiple waitresses working in the bar area and all of a sudden we saw one that was working the entire room. It was a busy Friday night, so there were extended waits for drinks and courses. We felt bad for lone waitress who seemed to be running around.

The food here was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend got to try the Japanese Wagyu for the first time and it was out of this world. Service was a tad bit slow but overall we had a really great time. Would definitely come back for a second time!

Party of six, everything was fine except the butter cake(which we had raved to friends about). It was very dry. Server offered to take it off the bill(we declined). Overall, an enjoyable ecperience.

The service was okay and the food was not very good. It was par for the course when your doing 700 covers on Thanksgiving day. Mediocre food usually happens due to the volume. I’ve been to other Mastro restaurants and they’ve been much better.

We went to Mastros for Thanksgiving and luckily had an early reservation. Sat at a high top at the bar. Service was excellent, but our server definitely got busy and we were given a back up server who was just as friendly. The asparagus and brussels sprouts were a disappointment this time around. Don't think we will be ordering those next time. The truffle butter mushrooms were excellent. The special pecan pie was one to remember.

Matro's never disappoints. We had a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their filet - cooked just right at medium rare with tenderness and flavor. We love the sides of mashed potatoes, spinach and cream corn. French onion soup also amazing and to top it off the desserts were huge and yummy. Our server was attentive and friendly and really took care of us.

Service is most important to me, and it was excellent. Our server was Cecil and he was Johnny on the spot all the time. Amazing. We look forward to going back again soon.

We used to be big fans of Mastro’s. However, things have changed since COVid. The food is still quite good…steaks, salads, oysters, etc. The service is fair. Nothing special, and at times sloppy. Given the price point, we expect better. This is too bad, as the desert steakhouses have really gone down hill over the past few years. We need a Jeff Ruby’s, a Steak 48, or a Maple & Ash.

I am compelled to write this review after a disturbing and frankly dangerous experience at Maestro's Steakhouse. We ordered the Branzino fish, which turned out to be a serious health hazard. The fish was improperly prepared, teeming with bones, one of which became lodged in my throat, nearly causing me to choke. What was even more appalling was the staff's complete disregard for my distress. Their failure to offer any assistance or to call an ambulance in such a critical situation was not just negligent but inexcusable. This level of carelessness shows a shocking lack of training and basic human concern. It's alarming that an establishment like Maestro's Steakhouse, which claims to offer high-quality dining, can be so grossly negligent in both food preparation and emergency response. This is not just about poor customer service; it's a matter of public safety. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action to rectify these grave issues before someone else suffers, or worse.

The food is good like always, but it takes too long for the food to be brought out. We ordered right when we got there and it took forever to get our food. We come with three kids so we want to be in and out fast.

A+ food and service, always a great choice for a special occasion. Highly recommend the bone in filet, stone crab claws when they are in season, and butter cake for dessert.

Had a romantic anniversary dinner for two. Made high top reservation with "wait list" request for standard seating. And got it! Escorted to table on time. Great service. We both had excellent petite filets with Bearnaise and crab, escalloped potatoes and asparagus. I had French onion soup and my wife had wedge salad. All wonderful! Wine selection was very good. Desert was a butter cake topped with a candle and chocolate sauce message of congrats. 5 star experience but pricey. Similar to top end steak houses in the area but this was the only drawback. Would I return. Absolutely!

The food was delicious. The sides are family style. We sat at a table in the bar room it was quite busy. The tables were very squished together. So much so that the people next to us could not to get in/put of their table; we had to physically move the table each time to let them in and out. It’s disruptive.

I absolutely LOVE Mastros! Hands down favorite restaurant. First time at this location(I like Newport Coast’s views/ambiance better) but still good. Food/drinks and service was amazing. We celebrated my dads 70th birthday party- and they were awesome at creating a gigantic ‘happy birthday plate’ with all the desserts we ordered. Def best desserts as well. Highly recommend.

We shared a crab cake appetizer and 2 glasses of wine that was very good. I had a small lobster tail and my husband had a bone in ribeye that were delicious. Our waiter was great. Thanks

We go to this restaurant often but since we moved we’ve rarely gone in the last 2 years. What a huge disappointment. First it was so easy to get a reservation which has been impossible last minute in the past (maybe a sign, others not going too). We usually sit in the bar area, which on a weekend is packed 5 people deep. Last night there were seats available at the bar. After a 30 minute wait we finally got our table. Then after waiting for 2 hours for our food which never arrived, we were so fed up we left without eating. No offer of a drink or apology for the wait. We left at 930Pm hungry and had to go find another place to eat, which in Beverly Hills on a Saturday is challenging.Needless to say, very disappointing evening! WILL NOT BE BACK!

We were really looking forward to this birthday dinner. The hostess desk greeting was top notch. Asked whose birthday it was and for the name. We brought a very nice bottle of our own wine, which the hostess brought to our table. Waiter comes by, grabs the bottle and starts opening it. No decanting offered. He then proceeded to pour it without asking us if we were ready for wine. We were going to wait until dinner and order cocktails first. He should have asked. To note, we were SHOCKED at the end of the night to have been charged a $50 corkage fee. That is ridiculous and NOT industry standard for fine dining! Waiter rambled off many specials so quickly we had to ask him to repeat things that sounded interesting. Cocktails were delicious, as were the Caesar salads. Disappointed in the sides that were not served hot but were large portions. Brussels sprouts were bland as were the scalloped potatoes. Mac and cheese was good. Steaks and scallops were fantastic, by far the best part of the meal. We had to remind the waiter of the birthday, but the birthday boy did get a small slice of cheesecake. Other desserts ordered were a cherry crisp and butter cake, served with a delicious mound of fresh whipped cream. The waiter was not very attentive - he was definitely engaging with other tables much more. The additional helpers did everything except take our orders. What literally ruined our experience was that for the last 45 minutes of our meal, we were subjected to a loud group of 6 already intoxicated men who proceeded to use profanity while speaking LOUDLY with each other across a large round table. We couldn’t even hear each other talk at our own table. 2 tables next to them gobbled their desserts to get out of there. Simply not acceptable for a restaurant charging us $600 for our meal. Sadly disappointed.

As always, food outstanding. Service started out great then faded as night progressed. Felt as though staff was trained to not make contact as they walk by a table with empty plates. Brought the complimentary birthday cheesecake to the table then didnt take dessert order for rest of us. We were at high-top table in the bar , not sat directly at bar yet our waiters were the 2 bartenders. Was not a particular busy night so not sure why. Although they were both personable, out of sight , out of mind? ? We will still go back as we always have fun and food and staff friendly but hoping for the cost, they do some tweaking . …also the entertainment took longer breaks then they played which isnt the norm and no less then 3 crashing trays of dropped trays. Hopefully was just an off night

The food is spectacular, except the special of King Crab Rice. I should have complained and had it removed. The pieces are not king crab, and so small you don't even see them, and for $45, yeech. Tasted like 4 day old rice, but my wife didn't want to complain. Of course, so that left me to pay full price. But the steak was awesome, and by far one of the better ones in the valley.

The service at Mastro’s is always excellent. The bread bowl was pretty good except for the soft non crispy crostini bread- it was mushy. The Halibut was extremely dry and inedible. The filet was also overcooked, the waiter had it remade and was perfect. The truffle butter Mushrooms were oversoaked in butter. The mambo salad was great and spiced to perfection. The creamed spinach was creamy. The butter cake is a winner, always! I’m a fan of MASTRO’S however the kitchen was a little off.

Food was great, steaks cooked to perfect temperature. However, service was a little lacking. Can’t say it was horrible, but no attention to detail. The dinner was for a birthday celebration, and while we could have vocalized, we are accustomed to being asked if the ‘outing’ is for a special occasion. The reservation was made with the ‘tag’ of it being a birthday dinner. Server was kind, but didn’t check on us often and felt like poor attention to detail.
