   They need better sound absorption the noise level was terrible so bad we could hard carry on a normal conversation. So for that reason this was probably our last time at Matches which is to bad as we are season ticket holders to the Vees.

   We arrived at 7:00 pm and walked out at 9:00 pm because we still had not received our food. The waitress was clearly flustered and didn’t appear to have any management support.

   Had a reservation for a group of nine people. Four of our group didn’t get their meal until the other five of us almost finished ours and three of them ordered salads! Meals were sub par maybe because the kitchen was busy? Server very apologetic and the late meals were compped.

   Realized later that my Cajun Seafood spaghettini never came with the ahi tuna on it. It was mixed in. Like tuna salad mixed in. That’s why the sauce was weird. Lol too busy gabbing to notice. Will be back. But just thought that was random. Maybe visual pictures to help chefs would help.

   Our server was terrible. We felt ignored the whole night. No drinks were refilled until we flagged her down for service. Nigel did more to serve our table then the server did. We are in every Tuesday and I have to say tonight was the worst service we have ever had there.

    Italian dish which was supposed to have chicken had 1 piece and a few artichokes. Miss the beet salad and Brussels sprouts. The value is getting worse in comparison to other restaurants. Staff is always friendly.

    We were disappointed with the service. Took over 10 mins to even be spoken to after being seated. The waitress was frazzled and was not sure what was going on in her section. The food was late and cold. We tried to coat by the restaurant the day after the experience and yet no response. Unacceptable

    The host Violet needs some serious help on customer service. 2 adults 3 kids and had a reservation but she dropped 5 adult menus off at a table with 4 chairs and ran away before i could even say anything. Had to go chase her down to get an extra chair, that she placed in the middle of the busy aisle and said “this is our only table” as a big booth was open right behind us. Had to go ask the bartender for a kids menu. Food was good and service from our server was great, however the experience at the start set the tone.

    Everything was great. When I booked the app asked if there was a special occasion and as we were going there for my birthday I did put birthday. But nothing was made of it by the server. But that's OK. We went and gambled later,won $20 and came back for desert . All good

    Unfortunately our dinner at Match was not enjoyable. The restaurant is looking quite rundown with very worn out upholstery on the booth seats and my shoes kept sticking to the floor under our table. Our food wasn’t nearly as good as the last time I ate there: the fries appeared to be reheated and were the dregs of the package, but the fish in my burger was quite greasy, and the goddess side salad was wilted and saturated with dressing. We were not impressed at all.

    We always reserve for 5pm. Evidently this is when some shifts start and the servers are not too sure which tables they are to cover. Every time we have to wait at least 10 minutes to just get a glass of water. We spoke to the manager about it. He says he will try to do better.

    Our server was fantastic & very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very relaxing & appealingto the eye. Our order arrived quick & was delicious. This was our first time eating at Match, we will definitely be back. We also enjoyed visiting the casino for a few games 😊

    There has been a large turnover of staff at this establishment in the past few months. Now finally they have turned things around and are operating as a well-oiled operation. We have endured having staff ordering the wrong items for us and other problems. On this occasion we were well taken care of and the food was excellent!

    My wife and I went here for dinner last night. I had a foot long hair embedded in the chicken wings. The food took 50 minutes from time of order to our table. The drinks erre good and the service was good but the food was terrible. I ate half of a beef dip and felt ill shortly after. I think the hair in the wings ruined everything. I actually pulled a very long hair out of my mouth. It was gross. Our server said we won’t have to pay for the wings. Anyways we will not be returning to the Match pub.

    They need to fix their on line booking system. ! As we booked a table before our night out as we expected it to be busy , as there was a concert. The restaurant had no reservation wen we arrived and checked in!

    Had cajun spaghetti with prawns and seared tuna.Cajun seasoning was too much. It catchs up on you the more you have. I would recommend this dish would still be excellent with only half the amount of seasoning and garlic. Food quality was very good. Waitress was excellent. Will come again

    Service was horrendous, although the server was young and not sure how long she had done her job for. Food took forever, and then even longer to get cutlery to eat it with. We were there for 90 mins and never once got approached to even order a second drink, let alone a third. Lastly, my beet salad was filled with bad, soggy lettuce and I couldn’t even eat it. I still had to pay and tip for it, because it wasn’t like we even got asked how our food was or if we needed anything. Would never go back or recommend to anyone

    Service overall was pretty decent, I would have liked the server to come around more than once so I could get more than one drink with my meal. Ended up getting one more as we paid because I was thirsty but other than that things were awesome. The ambiance was nice and people were friendly.
