   Honestly the service was subpar the waitress while nice could barely look us in the eye. Never got water or anything beyond taking order and delivering the food. The biggest disappointment was the value. We spent almost $300 for 2 pizzas, 2 salads, 6 glasses of wine and 2 beers . Seriously $21 for a 9oz pour of wine. That is insane. The steak house next door doesn’t charge that much for way better wine. Also on a side note $16 for 6 wings???? Sadly we will not be back anytime soon. Too many other options to spend so much for pizza..

   My food had to go back twice…first meal a ribeye steak that was not cook as I request and a pizza that was brought to me with a burned crust. Unacceptable service.

   Pizza is really the best thing here. The full rack of ribs was OK. It was mother's day and very busy, but the waiter provided poor service. Not because he was busy, because he just clearly had not been trained very well. Bar cocktails had no garnishing, even though the menu, and prior experience here with same drinks, indicated otherwise. We've enjoyed this place in the past but this latest experience took it down a notch or two.

    Enticing to look at however the food is just meh. Nothing wonderful unless one has a low expectancy level. I guess that's why I've only attended twice since it's opened.

    We have always like Matchbox but were shocked to discover they charge $21 for a single glass (9oz pour) of Oyster Bay that costs $9 per bottle at Costco. I don't think that's reasonable.

    Had a pleasant experience with them . Food is American fare . Server efficient . Setting nice with enough space for customers and servers moving around . Restrooms could be better . Price average . Will come back here. Nice outside sitting for warmer weather .

    The location and interior design is amazing. The server Natnael was really good! The kitchen needs some work for two reasons. First, our 4th entree did not come out for about 10 minutes (after I asked our waiter how much longer till we got the shrimp pasta). Second, the number of chips on the spinach & artichoke app was really weak. So, I give the atmosphere and server a 10 and the kitchen a rating of a 6. Bring up the kitchen standards and this place is a 10 for 10 in my book. Come late Spring and Summer the outdoor patio looks amazing for One Loudon!

    Host stand seated the servers entire section at once. Took almost 2 hours for our order to come, and it was an hour between when our kids meals came with our appetizers and our adult main courses. All 4 adult meals were wrong. Overall a disappointing Easter Brunch.

    The French toast was excellent and our guests loved the Cobb salad. The only downside was the pepperoni was extremely spicy when the menu didn’t say that it would be. Server was very efficient.

    Nice neighborhood restaurant. Good menu selection, great tasting pizza and nice atmosphere for restaurant and bar. Lots of TVs for sports viewing. Highly recommend.

    Brunch steak meal was not good at all. Steak was not cooked to liking asked for medium, I received medium rare. Chimichurri, sauce was very salty & oily. Potato were oily and salty as well. Eggs were ok. All american breakfast was ok, chicken sausage was over cooked one end so well done it was not edible, potatoes again oily & salty. Tuna tartare tacos & spinach & artichoke dip & drinks were tasty but that was it.

    I don't know if it is the post-Covid world we are dealing with, but I expected our salads to be served first. They were served with our entree. Not the end of the world, but I'm wondering if this is the norm now?

    We have eaten at MatchBox several times before, but this time the toppings on our pizzas were skimpy. My wife had almost no sausage on her make your own pizza and my mushroom pizza had five quarter-sized pieces of mushroom on six slices of pizza buried under lots of greens.

    Food was par for matchbox. Pear salad with great, pizza a little salty but ok. Service was pretty bad. 12:30 reservation. Food order taken at 1:15. I love a leisurely lunch but I also like service.

    This is my second trial of Matchbox, and I think I have to admit this place is not for me. The qualty of food is similar to a fast food chain. Pizzas were very salty. Two crab cake platters had to go back after one bite. I have never had an eggy crab cake, with a thin layer of egg crust on top and at the bottom. It was dry and smelled of egg. It was really unpleasant. Pomegranate and orange sangria tasted like fruit juice with a slice of orange and a splash of wine. I would not recommend this place

    This was probably our 12 visit to match box and they always have been consistent till yesterday Not sure if they have a new chef or new management but the burgers were raw that we ordered for our child, the server was very nice and said he will ask for another order, the problem the order was delayed more than half hour by the time we were ready to leave. We also ordered the salmon with the asparagus and rice, this was my favorite meal in March box but yesterday the salmon was dry the portion were smaller, the asparagus was over done. as for the pasta with chicken it was below average. as said this was my favorite to go place and now I am so disappointed.

    Had dinner with friends. Food is tastes good and the portion sizes are large. I just wish they would be less expensive. We did enjoy the happy hour, which is a good deal. Robert, the bartender, is always nice.

    Matchbox is our favorite restaurant in One Loudoun. The food and service is always excellent. Prices are mostly fair. Our only complaint is the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 6 0z. glass is priced at $19. We understand mark ups, but you can just about get the whole bottle for that price!

    This was our second time eating at Matchbox. We didnt feel like cooking on NYE and so we made a reservation and headed to Matchbox. We sat upstairs and while we appreciate some nice ambiance, it was dark, almost too dark to read the menus. Our server was nice and cordial. Our dinners were good, but maybe not $130 good. We like the interior of Matchbox a lot and will probably come back and sit at the bar for drinks appetizers, no need for us to grab a table for dinner.
