   Cozy atmosphere, great for a romantic date or getting together with friends/family. The dim lighting and view of the river were especially nice!

   Booked Mother's Day Brunch off a link posted by the restaurant. Arrived to find that the brunch started at noon and we were there for the regular brunch instead. Would have been ok but since they were prepping for the bigger brunch there was no food in the buffet so we ended up eating cereal. Had to ask for bread to make toast. Pretty disappointed because we had the whole family out. Our server was really nice and apologetic for the situation though.

   This was our first visit to Maxwells and it was Great! The quiet atmosphere allowed us to feel relaxed. The menu offered exactly what you would find in a good steak house with a flair and tastes all Maxwells. The steaks we choose were cooked as ordered with emphasis on fresh black pepper. With a variety of sauces and sides, this allowed us to share some with each other. Most importantly was the service, it was Outstanding. Our server James was very patient, informed and most of all quick to offer Great advice when questions arose. His Kindness enhanced our experience. Will definitely be going again.

   My wife and I dined here for our Anniversary. The food was delicious and our waiter (Renee) was outstanding. We can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and we’ll definitely be returning again and again. L&K

    While the menu is relatively small compared to some places the food is fantastic. Also, 5 stars is not enough for the service here. Teresa looks after us almost everytime we go in and we couldn't be happier.

    Our server was fabulous and provided great recommendations. The oyster Rockefeller were decadent, the steaks were perfect, and the sauces, peppercorn & bodelaise, were just excellent.

    Food was very good and portions were reasonable. Perhaps a bit slow to receive our orders. Restaurant decor is nice and table seating comfortable. Had one minor glitch when the lights were turned up for about a minute which livened the place up for a minute. Overall a nice meal and service was good - server checked in after we were served but wasn't a pest. Recommend for a nice evening out.

    Salmon ..I had. Side chooses..1 vegetable …1 sauce. I chose brocollini..and a sauce (recommended by our wonderful sever)…I questioned if I could switch the sauce for a potato ( not to be..I would be able to pay $9.00 for a side of potato) My plate had sooooo much broccolini..too much. Half of it with a couple of fingering potatoes would have been ideal. I did not touch my mandatory sauce…it was not needed. I got a scoop of potato from a friend who paid for it as a side.

    The server was good but the service was very slow. The restauant was not busy. It took a LONG time for the food to be served. It might have been slow because of kitchen??? When you go fine ding you expect better service. I felt it wasn’t the waiters fault so I gave him a 20%tip. Left with … might be awhile before I come backspace

    Excellent wine list and the server Rene Chiasson knows the wine list and so can make great recommendations. We’ve been to Maxwell’s twice now and both times our out of town guests were impressed. This time I had the pork belly appetizer and beef tenderloin. Did not disappoint! Highly recommended for those seeking fine dining.

    Nice steakhouse located within the Crown Plaza. Generous portions and delicious. They have a private room, Maverick room, if you have a group for a business dinner or private party.

    Beet food in FREDERICTON. Flavors are balanced, portions are reasonable, presentation is great, and it is hot when it arrives at the table. It is the best high-end dining in Freddy.
