   I love how this was truly all you can eat & drink, and there were no hold ups. Appetizers were immediately brought to us, and the food kept coming out without delay. My friend and I loved every bite. We will be back many times after this.

   The ambiance is fun and energetic—tables near us ranged from dates to several friends out for the evening. The margaritas and main courses were flavorful. But the portions of the sides were smaller than many Mexican places. Also, I would not get the guacamole again. This is the second time asking for spicy but it has been bland and closer to mild than spicy.

   We had the kindest and most attentive server, Fernanda, which made the evening extra special. All are very impressed by the staff and their friendliness at Maya -keep up the good work! The food is always delicious and the margaritas are some of the best!

Chicken Mole was dry unfortunately, the House Margarita could have been better... teh flight of Mexican Whiskey's did not contain a whiskey other than the dark one, the others destinctively tasted like Tequillas... we really wanted to like the place but

    Lovely service. Tasty food. Not enough vegetarian options. Alcohol was a separate charge from the all you eat brunch. Would have been nice to know it upfront.

    The weekend brunch is exceptional! We did the all you can eat and bottomless mimosas, and in 11 years in this city, I have to say that this was the best brunch I’ve had. Raul provided exceptional service. Every dish that came out was gorgeous and tasted delicious. Our glass never went dry. It was such a positive, awesome experience that we tipped over 40%. We had to. We sat in the bar, which is a quieter than the dining room—every seat was filled. Lively brunch crowd; clearly everyone was having a great time. I’ve been here for dinner several times—Maya is consistently a solid choice!

    Granted that I have not been to Maya for several years, but I was disappointed in the very abbreviated menu - probably a hold over from the Covid-19 Pandemic. The food was very tasty but my skirt steak was overly chewy. The atmosphere was lovely, but the music was just percussive and no melody, but fortunately not too loud. I'll go back when they restore a more comprehensive menu.

    One of our favorite neighborhood restaurants - the food is always great and we love the upscale casual ambience. The margaritas are also hand mixed (no premade sour mix) and they are delicious. The front lounge area is also a fun place to sit but it tends to be louder than the back dining rooms.

    I really like the food here. My family is Mexican and we can vouch that it is very authentic… however: Mexican food should never be this expensive- $300 for a family of four is insane. In addition to evidently raising their prices, they have added tables, and on our recent Friday night there, we got to here every detail of all of the 3 tables around us’ conversations. Personal things. Loud laughing. We could not hear ourselves. In summary, the food is good- but being asked to suffer the experience you will have there and pay Michelin star prices for the privilege completely eliminate any value the meal could have had.

    Amazing for a brunch with any kind of company! Def make a reservation, we this place gets packed after 12. Even bustling with patrons, the service is excellent and speedy. Come hungry! Expect to be too full to exist if you do the bottomless food option.

    The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful with ordering. The food service was slow for dinner. The portions themselves were quite small for what I expect at a mexican restaurant. Difficult to share. The food was okay. I would return to try the brunch.

    The food was average and we had expected more from a Fodors review. The service was below par. We had to keep getting attention for water. The waiter did not come to take our drink order until after we finished our appetizer though he said he would be right back. Always had to seek wait staff out. So overall fair at best.

    Good representative classic Mexican restaurant menu where execution straddles the line between adequate and very good. It might be considered even better were it not all slightly overpriced for what one gets, but we can blame that on Manhattan rents.

    Food was delicious and everything came out quickly, which served our hungry mouths well! This is our 2nd time having the bottomless brunch and we’ve always been fed, boozily hydrated and enjoyed our time. The restaurant can get loud, and attempts to get a second order of the brunch menus can take a while, though brunch at Maya is the recipe for an indulgent weekend.

    All of the meat but the pork belly was overcooked and dry. The food was overpriced. The drinks tasted like fruit juice, not mezcal. Our waitress was great—very attentive. Honestly, it was just another very underwhelming Mexican restaurant whose website looks promising but the food proves to be disappointing
