We had the lamb and mushrooms as an appetizer and chicken kebabs and pork chop for a main. Service was wonderful, large portions of delicious food. Put this on your list of restaurants if you are in DC!

We chose Mazi because of its proximity to my friend's hotel and because it offers many gluten free dishes. We both had dinner salads with proteins added, both were very good. The service was attentive and friendly, our server was patient when we kept talking which delayed our ordering. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. I'm not familiar with the K Street corridor, so I don't know if Mazi is popular. I'd go back here if I was in the neighborhood.

Food was amazing compliments to the chef and our waiter Louis. Would be back at this restaurant again. Portion sizes are outstanding and food is amazing. We had the pork chops (bigger than the plate), lamb which was tender moist and seasoned and the filet mignon, cooked to perfection. 9/10 in my books must try for yourself!

Went here for lunch with colleagues. Food was okay. Nothing too exciting. I ordered chicken kabob which was a good portion size. Cooked well, not dry. Coworkers had fish and chips, and lamb burgers and they all thought it was okay as well.

George the bartender was fantastic. Made a perfect dinner meal recommendation, and made me an excellent cocktail. The conversation was very entertaining as well. Will definitely be back!

In town for the MCM and wanted a Greek inspired cuisine. Great atmosphere and service but the food fell a little short of our expectations at the price point. Had the wine chicken and pork loin as well as saganaki to start. Wine chicken was very tasty and tender but pork was a bit over cooked for my preference. Enjoyed the experience overall and would recommend a visit!

I do not recommend the bruschetta, the cheese is rubbery and everything else tasted very burnt. My friend got a burger and it was good but I got the chicken with wine and it wasn’t dry but it just didn’t have much flavor. And again, the brussel sprouts just tasted like they had been straight on the coals of a fire for 40 minutes. I was grateful our waitress comped part of the meal.

Our first time dining here and it definitely won’t be our last! The food was DELICIOUS. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and the mussels in the creamy garlic sauce and Brussels were spot on! Drinks were outstanding and the ambiance and service was so great also! Can’t wait to come back!!

We had a small reunion of friends at Mazi. It was the perfect setting as it was casual but not too casual. The somewhat limited menu did have something for everyone. Prices were what you would expect in a downtown city area. For example, chicken and vegetable kabobs were $23 with steak and chops in the $40s. The waitstaff was outstanding and patient with a group that obviously was in no hurry to leave.

We had a horrible experience at Mazi DC. After ordering starters, we got some mediocre dishes. The Shrimp tempura was not made with the delicate Japanese style batter, but rather with fish-and-chips style heavy batter. But while we were only halfway through our starters, they already brought the main dishes! Enquiries with the maitre D only resulted in 'it's very busy', which is a lame excuse for poor, especially too fast service! No apologies, no attempt to correct, no attempt to compensate. We were not the only table treated like that, we noticed, although our case was the most extreme it seemed. I cannot recommend this restaurant, as it is overpriced for the food they serve, and they serve it in a very sloppy way

i had a somewhat of a class reunion with about 4 of my high school classmate (and their wives) and we could not have asked for a better place to do it in. The staff was friendly and accommodating the service was outstanding and the food was to die for. everytime i come in town will make it a point to come have a meal at Mazi's

Mazi has a good selection of Mediterranean dishes from which to choose. We chose the Halloumi cheese bruschetta and a mushroom pasta. Both were excellent. The service was good and the bill was reasonable.

Their seating policy was ridiculous. Four of us singles showed up at different times and no one was led to the table - we were all told to wait until at least 3 had shown up. Since some of us didn't know the others, it turned into a slight debacle. The food was good, but portions are too much for all of us (men and women). We wished we had gotten entrees to share, since we were going out afterwards and didn't want doggie bags. Overall, a good place, easy to talk with the others in the group because it is quiet.

Between visiting my sister and my daughter for the last 10 years I have never been here but by far the best restaurant we have eaten at. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic and I’m a huge snob. We met one of the owners outside while leaving and talked for a while. He was very personable and so very pleasant. This will be a regular stop on our visits to DC. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening

Everything we had was good. The Brussel Sprouts were a little overdone. They always seem to be everywhere lately. Pork Chop was recommended by waiter and did not disappoint. I would definitely go back. $400 for 4 people but we had apps, mains, desserts, drinks and fun. It was worth it. I have paid that much for mediocre food and service and this was not that place.

I had the lamb burger which was quite good. Mr husband had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken which he said was “ okay”. I had a Bourbon Mule cocktail which had plenty of bourbon but flat watered down ginger beer. It has a nice ambiance and the staff are friendly. The menu was fairly limited but overall this was a pleasant but average restaurant.
