Food was great! It was our first time going as we frequent The Mill more, and had never gone to McCray's. This is certainly a family business that thrives on making customers feel good and happy.

The restaurant and the food are good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the trivia night that was going on. However, there were two problems. First of all, our service was awful. It took 30 minutes before we were able to get our server to take our order. After that, food was slow to arrive and whenever we needed something (utensils, napkins, salt, etc.), she was nowhere to be found. Secondly, we were charged more money for not paying with cash. The food was already overpriced for what we were getting, but to then have to pay more because we used credit was ridiculous.

Everyone cannot do brunch and McCray’s simply cannot! The food was okay at best. They didn’t restock the bacon at the brunch buffet for 45 minutes. They server didn’t explain there would be a fee for using our card. The cooks don’t know how to fix omelettes. And the server also didn’t tell us there would be fees for items on the omelets.

McCray's Tavern in East Cobb is a good "go to" restaurant -- the food is tasty and plentiful, the service very professional and courteous, and the pricing represents good value. Parking is easy and our reservation was handling very promptly. We did a family dinner there and will plan to go back for sure!

Food wasn’t hot, barely lukewarm. A few items were empty. Pancakes/waffles NO syrup. The dessert “station”. No peanut butter pie no cheesecake one brownie, someone had cut in half. The only items were three types of tiny 1” square chocolates !! Not impressive!! Poor service. Water glasses were empty and we were through BEFORE we were ask if we wanted more. Noisy. Do not like being forced to pay a tip!! $25 was added with no choice!! No wonder service was poor, why try when you are guaranteed $$$. This was MY Mother’s Day lunch and I expected better. Our first time here. Probably will not waste our time going back. For $130 it should of been much better!!

We had a great Mother’s Day brunch at McCray’s. The food was delicious and they greeted the moms with a long stemmed rose. The place was packed but our server Paige did a great job of keeping our glasses full and plates cleared. The buffet was excellent and a great value.

Our Easter brunch was so expensive and not good. I didn’t know you could mess up breakfast, but it was definitely accomplished. I’m normally pretty relaxed in my reviews, but it really was bad. Also, we didn’t have a server until another server, unassigned to ours, stepped up and got us water. It really was just so bad. We were all excited for it too.

Great outdoor patio that is covered. Kid and dog friendly! The food was great for "bar/pub" food, but a bit overpriced. Was $8 to add shrimp to a salad but only got 4 or 5 small pieces. Appetizers were big though!

I really enjoy Mccrarys. I brunch with my family regularly and we enjoynour food and drinks. Like most restaurants now they have some staffing issues that make them a bit slower, but that’s to be expected. The service is great.

food was hit and miss! gumbo excellent, tuna ahi good, burger very good. reason not a 4 star for food strip steak chewy not good at all, but really you don't order steaks in these kind of restaurants!! service a bit slow but our waitress was very nice and helpful..she was also overworked due to usual nowadays staff shortage!

If you are short wait staff or cooks, don’t fill the restaurant, let empty tables occur. Many restaurants are taking away tables. Our order was incorrect, took over an hour from order to delivery.

We 6 girlfriends meet every time we celebrate a birthday. I can say McCrays is an excellent venue for a special occasion. Even though there are several tvs high on the wall with sports on tap, they don’t intrude on quality conversations. Our food came hot and delicious and we all enjoyed excellent wait staff service. I would highly recommend McCrays for any type of get together. We’ll definitely be going again.

Our reservation went from 5 to 25 and McCrays did an amazing job accommodating us! They had the right number of servers and was quick to serve. It’s always worrisome to have such a large group for a last minute get together (with separate checks) but they handled it amazingly!!

We had a party of 9. They misplaced one of our orders and didn’t realize it or check back on us. They did take $30 off of the bill without us even asking. The food was great and we had a wonderful time.

Mother’s Day gathering, poor initial reception. Advised of shift change, was seated and asked to be patient. However, no water, no menus, no attention for 15 minutes. After discussion with Manager, hostess literally dropped menus on the table and left. Thankfully, server “Josh” did a nice job trying to recover, he was responsive and swift. Food was hot and surprisingly tasty. Noise level is high, especially with classic rock as a soundscape. Not likely to return with other more reliable, comfortable options in the area.

They were well organized on a busy day. The buffet setup was a bit congested but given the space it was understandable. There was a decent variety of offerings from breakfast and lunch items. The dessert was the one area that was lacking. The Bloody Mary bar was a highlight. Great service from Regan made the experience nice and easy.

6 of us dined at McCrays for the first time. The food was very good. Try the Pimento Cheese fritters. The Elder drink on the bar menu was delicious and refreshing. Carla took good care of us and was very personable.

We were there for Easter and the food was wonderful and at a great price for what was offered. If i had to find a negative it would be that we had to ask for the plates to be cleared so that we could go back to the buffet.

Great location. Service is pretty good considering the impact of the great resignation. Food has always been fantastic. The one thing that bugs me every time I go there , they charge you a fee if you use your credit card.
