   I ordered an eggs Benedict, when I cut into it, the egg was completely cooked through and not runny at all. I brought it up to the waiter who kindly said he’d go talk to the kitchen/manager and replace the eggs. He eventually came back with fried eggs that were runny. So while I appreciate the attempt, for an eggs Benedict I thought they’d come back with runny poach eggs that my dish should have had.

   Everything was great, had the Steak and Eggs w/potatoes. Suggestions...I ordered my steak medium well and it came out well. But it was still delicious.

   Good Food. Good Drink options. Friendly wait staff. Not a ton of parking because it's in midtown so that's difficult. TV's aren't very accessible everywhere but fun night out.

   The food and service was good and the location perfect for us going to theater downtown Atlanta. However, it is a Tavern, and filled with loud television monitors, and even karaoke, which prevented conversation.

   The Salmon entree was DELICIOUS! It was cooked perfectly to our request. The mashed potatoes were VERY good. An "area for improvement" would be to lower the temperature on the draft beer kegs. Most folks like their beer "ice cold" and I actually was forced to add ice to my draft Stella Artois because it was almost room temperature...

    Great server, fast service. Only negatives were the onion rings were under seasoned. Way too much batter on a small onion ring inside. And no flavor.

    This place is an excellent place for a date. We had Open Table reservations and was seated right away. The service was awesome. We asked our waiter for recommendations on wine and he was very helpful. We also asked about several dishes and all of his recommendations were spot on. Overall we had an excellent date, meal, drinks, and experience.

    Overall, very good experience. The pimento cheese appetizers were good and the sauce provided a nice balance and touch of spiciness. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the mixed veggies was nice, a bit too many peppers for my liking. My husband had the Sante Fe burger which was cooked nicely and had a nice mixture of flavors. We were disappointed they were out of their special cocktail.

    Everything was either average or needed improvement... The Salmon, mashed potatoes & vegetable entree was average. As for needing improvement; the draft beer (first beer was "flat" (and waiter stated that 'he thought it might have been flat' yet he brought it to my table anyways) so returned for a different draft beer and the replacement was not very cold) -AND- the service (had to flag down the waiter twice since he wasn't checking in on my wife and I) were below normal standards. In the past; the food, drink and service would usually all be FANTASTIC but this meal was the epitome of "average/needs improvement"...

    Decent service. 2 meals were good. Third was fish and chips and one of the fish was under cooked. Good fries. Place was cold - we all kept our coats on for dinner.

    We went for dinner after a matinée at the Alliance Theatre. My mother’s fried brussels sprouts were very good, though a little too burnt. Likewise I and my daughter’s burgers were cooked a level above what we’d asked for. My husband’s fish and chips were really good. Disappointing selection of beers: lots of Bud, Miller Lite etc, very few craft beers, nothing on draught. Oddly, the section headings included beers they didn’t actually have eg. Kolsch. But Ayesha was charming and took great care of us. Overall, a good night out - just need to turn down the griddle a notch.

    Should have known by the small crowd we were in trouble. We were seated right away. Drinks and order taken quickly. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. NY strip wasn’t just “marbled” - it was more fat than meat. We aren’t they type of people to send food back, but if we hadn’t been in a hurry this steak would have been sent back. Margherita flatbread was globbed cheese and cherry tomatoes. The chopped salad was great, even if the salmon was lackluster. I’ve eaten at other McCray’s locations and always been pleased with the quality of service and food. Very disappointed in the meal last night.

    I really McCray's Tavern. The food and service are usually very good. This particular dining experience wasn't as great. A member of our party did not receive her entree until most of the party was finished eating. It was slightly embarrassing as this was a work luncheon. I know most restaurants are experiencing staff shortages and other issues so this will not deter me from returning but I do think management needs to know when these types of things occur.

    We were surprised at how good the Shepard's Pie and Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread were. Large portions and tasty. It was a bit loud early on a Saturday night because of all the football games and huge TVs but not as bad as some sports bars -- it was still cozy, and the service was quick and professional.     We need a quick dinner before our 8 pm concert. This place is conveniently located. There is no restaurant parking spot but there are several large parking decks in the area. I would have given it a 5 star but the service was a bit slower than expected. It was a Thursday night but the restaurant was well packed which is a positive sign. We ordered fish and chip which was delicious (the fish was greasy but that is expected and the fries were nicely done and crunchy ) and a Santa Fe hamburger. We chose onion ring as a side item but it was so horrible ( so dry and unpleasant ) . I would not serve such thing to any one. There are some great ready made frying mix out there that they could have used. Or there are so many simple frying mix recipes that ‘s worth using. The burger itself was nice. The aioli sauce was decent. I still recommend this place. Hopefully the onion rings could be greatly improved.

    They were out of too many of the drinks we requested from their menu (cans and bottles). Of the dozen tvs around the place, we requested the MLB play-offs on some near our table. It took awhile and multiple requests; we missed a few innings. As out of town guests, that had been our main purpose of going to a sports pub so we were disappointed. Food was fine.

    We were seated at the top of the stairs table which was uncomfortable. Everyone someone came up stairs our table was binned. The waiter and waitress keep bumping our table and husband. This is not a good location for seating and either tables moves to the left or a two person table for room. Food was Luke warm so but overall the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits were good. Great location to watch a game however don’t go for Mimi’s they only have pineapple and everyone is not a fan of pineapple 🍍.
