Kalama Harbor Lodge Pub, nested along side the lower Columbia river, is an excellent place to spend time with family and friends. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner our menus hosts McMenamins must haves as well as seasonal new favorites. Our patio, heated in the winter and shaded with umbrellas in the summer, is open year round in addition to being pet friendly. Early for your reservation? Grab a drink or an appetizer in our Cloud Bar (all ages) while you wait for your table in the Pub. Hope to see you soon!

    Our destination has a dedicated meeting and event space – Old 97 – for 15 to 100 people. We’ll host your next meeting, event or nuptials – we even have doors that open to lanais. The space is fondly named ‘Old 97’ for the railroad switch engine used to disassemble and reassemble train cars on the transfer ferry that crossed the Columbia River at Kalama. Having an event at this new property means enjoying its Island-inspired feel, as it was modeled after the Pioneer Inn on Maui. A few of the unique private events menu items include a Tiki Pupu Party menu with Year of the Dragon Pork Sliders and Egg Rolls; and a North Shore Buffet with Island Slaw, Three Rocks Jerk Chicken and Coconut Shrimp.     We arrived and were seated right away and had to find a server to help us. We waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order. It was not very busy, so we were unsure of why we waited so long to be served. Our server was apologetic and tried to make up for the long wait.

    I made a reservation for 6 using OpenTable and when we got there the hostess told us that they did not have a reservation on record for us. I told her that I had the email confirmation of the reservation but she said that didn't matter and there was nothing she could do. She said that we would have to wait 20-30 minutes and that breakfast would not be available anymore. It was very disappointing that there was no attempt to accommodate my family and the friends that were visiting from out of town.

    My husband and I had a great lunch on a busy Saturday today. Thanks to our Open Table reservation we were seated pretty fast. (We got there before 1 pm and the weather wasn’t great today). I had the delicious Hawaii Five ‘O sandwich with pulled pork and he had his favorite burger. Our server was working hard and took great care of us. Love this place so much.

    The Cajun tots were so over seasoned that they were uneatable. The pretzel/fondue app was amazing

    Today I celebrated my 66th birthday at the Kalama McMenamins Lodge with 22 guests. My guest and I were thoroughly pleased. We had a great lunch . The restaurant was very nice the waitress was very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. I will definitely come back to your establishment in the future.

    New Years Eve dinner. Busy but not crowded; visible empty tables. Limited menu with average food. Salmon was dry and food seemed cool, not hot. Quality not the same as previous visits or equal to prices.

    It was a BUSY night with the Christmas ships. I'm glad that we made a reservation on Open Table as we were seated immediately. Service was not fast but it ws to be expected. Food was delicious and drinks were good too!
