Great brunch wonderful rooftop patio
A wonderful gem in Grant Park, off the beaten path, that never disappoints. It’s our go-to for all of our out of (and in) town guests. Always a delight.
Love!!!! Love! My favorite place to dine!
I’m gluten free and this is a gift!
Always love the food! The baked goods are a must for take home!!
Great ambiance. Beautiful views. Delicious food. I would definitely go back for dinner again.
This is my favorite place for a special meal for any occasion. The food is consistently good and the cocktails are great. The rooftop dining is the best. When I went last week it was in the high 80s at street level but a pleasant, breezy 10° cooler up on the roof.
Just like all the reviews say, really good restaurant overall. We were there for Sunday brunch and it was excellent!
We were a party of 8 adults and 6 kids under 6, a real challenge, the whole staff was wonderful from beginning to end and we had a great time. The kids had fun and the adults were able to talk and relax. Food was great as always. We will be back!
Enjoyable evening with friends. Great atmosphere inside and out. Food and service were great. Will definitely recommend and go back again!
Really nice options, the bread was delicious. I would skip the quartets/starters and just try all of the other delicious things. Artichoke, clams, turkey feta balls were all delicious.
Beautiful surroundings and attentive service would have made us come back and then we ate the food. OMG! Now it a new favorite! It was so nice to have a delicious option where I didn't have to worry about gluten entering my meal. The non-celiac folks in my party said it was great and they couldn't even tell it was all GF. We will be back and soon.
Mediocre food at best, with very little flavor. Service was very unwelcoming and slow. Booked this restaurant to sit out on their upper deck which come to find out is only open at night. This should be on their website. There is really nothing exciting about this restaurant at all.
Wonderful meal with plenty of vegan options. We will definitely return.
First time dining at restaurant. Very enjoyable, food was very good. Looking forward to dining there again soon.
One of our favorite restaurants. Hope it's in Grant Park forever. The food's always delicious, and Allie is always an awesome server.
Mediterranea is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The food is great and, unlike many other restaurants, it is not loud, so you can carry on a conversation. It is good for dates and special occasions as well as a meal with kids. I am pescatarian, and their fish is always outstanding. My husband and kids eat meat and poultry, and have always enjoyed what they get. Plenty of choices for vegetarians, too. The food is prepared well and creatively. If it wasn't because we are adventurous and like to try different restaurants, we would probably eat at mediterranea on a weekly basis.
This one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Quaint location in Grant Park, and truly delicious food. Great roof deck as well. The staff is friendly & prompt. 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesdays. Easy one-way street parking. Always an excellent choice to dine here.
Always a pleasure to dine at Mediterranea! Such creative and healthy cuisine! Great for gluten free, veg Aquarian and low carb celebratory meals!
Chef & his team are always outstanding!
I was so happy that I could choose anything off the menu I wanted here as it is all gluten free. I usually only have a limited choice and then have to check all ingredients for gluten!
Loved this place! Good and service was terrific. Excellent for gluten-free and any foodie.
My husband and I went for dinner the other night. The food and our waitress were fantastic.
This was our first time dining at Mediterranea and it will not be our last. We chose it because it is close to a music venue we were attending. But everything we ordered was very good (4 people). Having a gluten intolerance, the fact that it is completely gluten-free is an added bonus for me!!! I usually have to be very careful when ordering at a restaurant, so it was so freeing to know I could order anything on the menu.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated immediately. Our server was very pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu, and provided personal recommendations. The atmosphere is great . . We arrived near closing time so it was pretty quiet. The food was delicious and well presented. Great neighborhood find and they have amazing vegan oatmeal cookies. Will return for another selection soon.
This is an excellent small restaurant with many inventive vegetarian options and a healthy menu.
Just the two of us went to check out this neighborhood restaurant. The food was great and we will be back to try other dishes.
Only had two servers and the restaurant was full.
Amazing food! Favorite place to eat and you could never guess by the taste of it that’s all gluten free! Healthy, beautiful and incredibly delicious- I am a huge foodie and this is my favorite place to eat! And the brunch is my newest favorite offering there! Unique and sooo tasty!
Excellent food but was disappointed the rooftop deck was not open. It was a beautiful evening for outdoor dining. We would have chosen a different restaurant that evening, if we had known.
We have been to Mediterranea several times and have been pleased with the quality of the meals as well as the service EVERY TIME.
The food was amazing, I also loved the decor, and service.
I’ve dined at Mediterranea several times & it does not disappoint. I like the inside atmosphere & decor, & rooftop dining experience is very nice as well.
The owner is hands on & always makes us feel welcome. I enjoy the combination of the neighborhood feel of the place w/foodie level dining. And a truly safe gluten free dining option is a rare find in Atlanta.
And now, the food... the Involtini is exquisite, & I’ve barely been able to order anything else, b/c I can’t bare not to get it. But I did indeed try something new this time. The halibut. And it was.... perfection.
We love this Grant Park gem! Creative, delicious food and mighty fine cocktails. Best gluten-free restaurant in Atlanta!
Lovely rooftop terrace and delicious food and cocktails.
The baked feta & involtini are amazing!!!!
I really enjoyed the food, but the service was very disorganized. Maybe the worst I've ever had. They seriously need to hire more people, or less passive aggressive ones. We couldn't find anyone to take our entree order for like an hour.
We ordered our appetizers and then they forgot about us for an hour until we tracked someone down. No one stopped at our table that whole time. When the waitress finally arrived, she was passive aggressive because my 75 year old dad was having trouble getting his order in. She told my mom not to order sparkling water and then didn't bring it until the end of the meal, took like 2 hours and my mom's insistence. Really weird behavior. The concierge was picking up the servers' work for them. The servers never stopped at our table unless we called out at them, which was awkward and super unprofessional. It is embarrassing to be a patron here because you constantly need to be flagging people down just to get your basic service.
After visiting the Atlanta zoo we were happy to find an excellent restaurant so close , no need to travel into mad downtown traffic
Food, service, location were exactly what we needed.
Topped off with a rooftop table on a gorgeous spring evening
Next time back in Atlanta we will definitely return
The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable
We eat out often, but this was a standout
We have been here multiple times. Food can be a bit uneven, but overall they do a great job and are super accommodating.
The food was awesome... would have loved the out doors though in the afternoon...
