Popular dishes include: haloumi involtini, pan-roasted chicken, eggplant tart, roasted beet risotto, shrimp & polenta, pan-seared branzino...
Love this place. One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta.
I love Mediterranea; however, I was a little disappointed in the Involtini. The first time I had it, it was wonderful! My friend and I both ordered it again and we were both disappointed. It just wasn't the same. Seems like the cheese was a little tough, not cooked enough perhaps. I will be back again and will try something else next time.
Fabulous in every detail. Service came with a personal touch, the appetizer was wonderful, and the mains were full of flavor.
We celebrated a birthday and the rooftop was perfect tonight!
We were looking for a nice place to have lunch with friends. Superb food and a great atmosphere.
I great neighborhood gem. Great food, friendly atmosphere and vibe. I enjoyed the experience!
Excellent gluten free experience! I have eaten at Mediterranea several times and have never been disappointed. Not only are the entrees creative and appealing, they taste awesome! My recent visit was for brunch, which was awesome! I highly recommend Mediterranea! I am GF for an allergy to wheat, and I have never had an issue with the restaurant or bakery items.
This place is a dream come true if you are a celiac! And even if you are not the food is great! We have always enjoyed our meals(brunch and lunch) and look forward to trying dinner soon! The GF bakery items are delicious too!
Service was unwelcoming upon arrival and food was ok. Maybe my expectations were set too high? But I was underwhelmed to say the least...
First time there and we’ll go back. They turned me on to some local gin that was great!
Our lunch waitress was a bit of a frownie face and ok as a server... we prefer helpful and pleasant but the food is super fresh and great quality for gluten free.
Will be back❣️
It's such a joy to go to a restaurant where I know I can eat anything on the menu because it is gluten free, and where I know no one would suspect that everything is gluten free. The food is fantastic, the staff are great, and the menu options are varied. Great place.
Never seems to have real service staff working.
First timers on a date night. The food was excellent. Will definitely be back. The only potential challenge could be street parking. We had a 7 PM reservation and was able to find parking one block away.
The food and service were outstanding. This is definitely going to be a regular for me.
Amazing meal and ambiance. Beer and wine selection were top notch and cocktails are amazing. Run, don’t walk to Mediterranean!
Always so good!
Overall nice experience. Food was delish, coffee was good, once I got it. Only issue was time it took for me to get my coffee. 30 min is way too long, backed up or not. Preferably I’d like to drink it before my food comes out. When I asked about it, thinking maybe she forgot to place the order, I was told she was backed up, and that was it. I was sitting watching as this lady make the drinks and then take photos of them, maybe that was why? Priorities I guess.
I love this place! The food is consistently fantastic and the wait staff is amazing.
Thank you for exceeding our friend’s’ expectations! It was our second visit and their first to your amazing restaurant. They were especially grateful and pleasantly surprised that you’re gluten free as well as delicious!
My wife and I went to Mediterranea for her birthday. She has mild allergies and tries to go gluten free mostly. I often join her on that. Mediterranea blew us away. To be honest, you would never know it was “gluten free.” It’s an awesome place, with or without that moniker. We had the mussels, shrimp risotto, grilled vegetables and yellow rum cake for her birthday dessert. We had a sparkling rose Malbec that was interesting. We would have everything again!
A great find in a neighborhood setting. Excellent food, friendly service, nice atmosphere but not stuffy.
A little about me. My wife describes me as a curmudgeon. I think American BBQ is easily as great a culinary contribution to the world as Italy's pasta or French baking (that might be too generous). I like my steaks to be at least 8 oz, dry aged, and medium rare. Any time somebody says they're vegan, I deeply pity and respect them for denying themselves the most nutrient dense food on the planet in the name of principle.
Mediterranea is basically the opposite of this. Gluten free. Vegan options. Smallish portions. Definitely NOT influenced by anybody asking, "Where's the beef?" Focused on pushing the limits of their patrons' pallettes.
Despite this, when I go there on dates with my wife for dinner, it's typically a decent dining experience for me. If I were more into this genre of food, I'm sure I would really really like it, maybe even love it.
There is one exception to all of this: BRUNCH
The Sunday (Saturday?) brunch at Mediterranea is rock-solid. I'm still a sucker for Waffle House or Homegrown, but if you want a more sophisticated lazy-morning nosh, Mediterranea is a top tier destination. If it's a nice day out, try your darnedest to get seated on the rooftop terrace. And get the French Toast.
Being on an anti inflammatory diet, this restaurant is very accommodating to my special dietary needs! The ambiance is wonderful!
I love this restaurant! When weather permits the rooftop deck is great!
The restaurant is entirely gluten-free, which allowed me to relax and not have to scrutinize the menu for my options. Brunch was delicious and the baked goods made me not miss gluten at all. Our server even kept food warm for one in our party who was running late.
I feel safe eating at this gluten free kitchen restaurant. Thank you for your accessibility.
Meditteranea is our hands-down favorite restaurant, not only now, but ever. Never disappoints. Always wows guests we introduce to it.
Even though it is a dedicated GF facility, you would never know judging by the menu or the resulting amazing culinary experience.
I have celiac, so it is extraordinary for me to be able to order anything on the menu with the secure knowledge that I am eating without risk of cross-contamination.
We visited NYC recently and traveled all around the city to the dedicated GF restaurants. Mediterranea was better than any of them.
And, by the way, my husband – who does not have GF issues – is a foodie and it is his very favorite restaurant ever, too.
amazing brunch. great staff as always. we will be back!
Absolutely love this place, best healthy brunch in town to connect with friends. Can’t go wrong with anything in the menu!
Service was very good and the food was fresh and delicious, we have liked to see more options and variety in the menu. The staff and specially the server was very attentive and friendly and made the experience all that more enjoyable. Definitely we will consider coming back.
Allie was awesome. The cioppino was outstanding.
Great, as usual. We went early so it was very quiet and great to be able to have a conversation with my wife. Great apps drinks and entrees, the Rialto was amazing and so was the steak frites.
Great gluten free options
OMG, it was better than I anticipated. Will return. New face restaurant.
Delicious, veggie-centric food in a quaint, lovely, ethereal atmosphere. Cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are gluten free like me, this is a MUST visit. Everything made in house is GF!! I will be back very soon
Great brunch wonderful rooftop patio
A wonderful gem in Grant Park, off the beaten path, that never disappoints. It’s our go-to for all of our out of (and in) town guests. Always a delight.
Love!!!! Love! My favorite place to dine!
I’m gluten free and this is a gift!
