The Med Restaurant is one of Saint John's oldest restaurants, serving hungry guests since 1971.
Since then, the restaurant has gone through many changes and improvements along the way.
Chef Christos (second generation) and his team are proud to prepare Greek and continental dishes, using fresh and wholesome ingredients as well as the finest imported products (extra virgin olive oil, oregano, etc.) from Greece and creating everything from scratch. Our products are also sold in our store, Theo's Fine Foods, located in the same building, next to the Med.
Our dining room is bright and airy, with a modern Greek flare, in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.

The food was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious! The restaurant is well decorated, and the ambience is soothing and enjoyable! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our meal was hot and delivered on time. 10 stars! I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had the chicken stir fry as I normally order. It was good but not great this time. It was lacking flavour, however, it was filled with lots of good chicken.

We have always loved “The Med” , unfortunately due to being very busy, and Covid we have not been in for a visit in a while. I must say the service was outstanding! But we were shocked that salad was not included with our dinner, as it is one of favourite part of the experience. The soup was included, but the Greek dressing is the best! So that’s what we were looking forward too the most. Most of us ordered the Tenderloin Tips, which is our family’s go to!! They were wonderful, yet 2 small pieces of mushroom, and 3 small pieces of green pepper was a shock. The meal was tasty, and the portion sizes were great. We understand that things change due to pricing, but we definitely would have paid a little extra for more mushrooms and GP. I asked about getting a side salad with Greek dressing, and was told the price, and decided against it. Overall the experience was good, the food was great, just a little disappointed in the changes. But things change, and we will definitely be back!

Great greek experience overall. Quantity was my issue.... too much food and could not take leftovers as we are traveling!

Dinner was nice, our appetizer was burnt on one side which wasn't so great. Salad was warm, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. However, we went close closing time and they took us in. I will try again another time

Great place to eat! Lots of meal choices and good portions. Seating and tables are well spaced. Will go back again. I had the Tenderloin Tips with Fries. this also came with soup, bread, desert and coffee.
