    This is my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor and it keeps getting better. The mussels I had recently were the best I've ever had. They were fresh, plump, and presented beautifully with a parsley quiet, peaceful, and with pleasant, interesting music in the background. This is a sophisticated yet casual, cosmopolitan restaurant with a creative chef. I love it.

    We have dined here numerous times. This was our first post-pandemic visit. Several items on the menu were not available. My husband’s salad was swell. My choice was disappointing because the burger was overcooked. Other disappointment was the extra order of pita was missing in bag of leftovers though we were charged. Waitress was nit all that interested apparently. Not our best visit.

    I was really looking forward to finally getting a real Paella... or so it seemed.. but it was just ok ... I ordered the Octopus, which was described as on Laplancha I have traveled in many countries and have never had an Octopus dish presented in this way it is usually sliced and served with a garlic and lemon olive oil dressing they served it sliced in a strange cream lemon sauce...very disappointing.

    We have been to the Mediteranno many times over the years. We live in Toledo, Ohio and love coming here. We always enjoy the food, service, ambiance and friendliness of the staff! Although we have many fine dining restaurants in Toledo, Mediteranno is very special and will continue to give it a 5 star rating!

    My wife had the rack of lamb, the best she ever had she said. I had a lovely messy bouillabaisse (that was called ZARZUELA on the menu) with giant prawns, mussels, and some white fish. Very good. Friday night is a busy night so service was a tad impacted. At 9:15 the crowd started thinning out and the staff were noisily cleaning and organizing which I found a little annoying. Don't take in customers at 8:30 and expect them to be done by 9:30. Don't.

    The minestrone was wonderful, perfect for a light lunch. Highly recommend the appetizer of marinated assorted olives. Nice ambiance.

    Thankful they had an opening, it was a last minute decision to dine out. There were new additions to the menu since our last visit. We always have the bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer and as usual, loved them. My partner tried the new version of duck entrée and was very impressed with the taste and unique preparation. Highly recommend! Anita was our server and she was so friendly, informative and attentive! Even though we were the last couple in the restaurant, we never felt rushed. It was a wonderful dining experience and definitely a hidden gem in Ann Arbor!

    Last night was our first experience at Mediterrano. We enjoyed dinner with another couple and we all thought our meals were fabulous. My salmon was cooked perfectly, plated beautifully and just the right size portion. The other dinners enjoyed included their fettuccine bolognese and a shared vegetarian paella. All were delicious. The service was timely, friendly and not overly intrusive - just thoughtful and attentive to our needs. We'll definitely be back and expect that this restaurant will become one of our favorites in Ann Arbor.

    The service was excellent. Our small plate ans especially the pear salad was very good. While the paella was large for two there was not much seafood and it was supposed to have monkfish but that was nowhere to be seen. Overall it is a good place to eat but not overly impressive. On the reservation on line it asked if this was a special occasion. It was our 31st wedding anniversary. The restaurant did not acknowledge that at all.

    Love the booth and ambiance. Service was top rate, and food was delicious. The Zarzuela and the Torta De Santiago were heavenly. Mediterrano transported me back to Spain. A true Mediterranean experience!

    This is the first time I’ve been to this restaurant even though I pass it all the time. It is not very appealing from the outside because it’s in a strip mall, but it is fantastic on the inside and the food was amazing. I can’t believe I’ve missed this place all these years!!! We went because of restaurant week but will be regulars now.

    Our waitress Maria was very attentive and helpful. There were so many dinner choices, and everything we ordered was delicious. They were also accommodating to preparing the "Tradicional" paella without rabbit. It was delicious, and portions were generous. We will definitely return.
