We felt very comfortable with both the warmth and the social distancing in the outdoor tent. The portions are very generous, the steak and fries are very good, the salad is surprisingly superb, and the warm cider with bourbon is not to be missed! We didn't have room for dessert, but the ones which other diners ordered looked tempting and delicious.
Brunch was great. Service was great. Was a little loud but overall great experience
Food was delish! Did the pre-fixe brunch, ordered the Medium Rare’s Famous Benedict. It was nice size portion and it comes with fries! Also included bottomless mimosa! I had the cranberry mimosa. Also had yogurt parfait with dried fruit and granola, and rustic bread with butter. Ambiance is very nice and contemporary. Noise level was decent during quiet times, but it got a bit louder during busy hours. Overall, would eat there again!
Excellent steak and service. Would recommend having heaters turned on during evening outdoor seating.
Excellent steak and fries but the limited menu (only steak and fries) gives limited options for families with varied diets.
The tables inside were a little close to each other and the music way too loud but the food was delicious.
Amazing as always! One of our favorite spots in Arlington.
Food, drinks and service were all great. Love the simplicity - bread, salad and steak (added some mushrooms). We didn't have dessert (too full), but saw others that did, with big smiles on their faces. Well done!
Great little place for a Sunday brunch. Great service, solid food and the restaurant does some amazing things for the community.
It was an interesting place. Nice atmosphere. The steak was good, but we didn't like the bread! (My husband actually rates a place on it's bread. Weird, I know.) I wish I had gotten the sauce on the side. It was good, but a little too much of it.
Loved the simple menu. Food was delicious
Like the food and service at medium rare. The only complaint is the music is so loud, one can hardly hear the waitstaff asked any questions or carry on a conversation. Wish they will turn down g the volume of the music then it’s a perfect place to visit.
Easy no fuss dining
I always recommend it
Gave them a second chance. Last time was very underwhelming. Service was much improved. Food was good, plentiful, and hot when delivered to the table.
Food is very tasty and reasonably priced, desserts are highly suggested too. One of my favorite places in DC area.
I love this restaurant. I just wish the personnel wore masks.
The whole experience was just . . . OK. I would not recommend for the price.
Great experience and fun too!
They do one thing and they do it well. Steak, special sauce, and fries. And then they bring more!
Have never had a bad meal. Always look forward to Medium Rare
Food was good, we didn’t realize you got a second serving which was a pleasant surprise! Service was good and prompt.
I came here for brunch and it was simply delicious! First off, the staff was so friendly and prompt. The coffee was fresh, the mimosas were strong and the food was awesome. It was a small brunch menu, but anything on there is gonna be great. I was visiting DC for the weekend and this was one of the many highlights. Would totally return!
Would have appreciated knowing it was a set menu. There was no indication that the full menu wasn’t available from the website.
Had reservations at 1:30 wasn’t greeted. We ended up leaving at 2 with no food or water still…
Great service and the food was delicious! Would recommend.
Birthday. Perfect from start to finish
Great food! Had a great dinner sitting outside!
I normally have had great service, but it took very long for a waiter to come and take our orders. Over popular to the ratio of workers. Food as always was great!!!
Food was ok. Service was bad. Had a dirty plate and then waiter poured wine into a dirty glass. Wasted some of our bottle of wine. Then one of the servers served our steak to another table so we had to wait a long time for our food. No apologies for the delay. On top of it all our food was not even hot. Sauce was cold. Not sure it would be worth a return trip.
It may be unfair to compare this restaurant to the Paris Relais d’Entrecote upon which it was originally based. Even recognizing we were not in Paris, the experience was disappointing.
Wait staff was excellent. Salad very good, as was the bread. Fries were an 8 out of 10, mostly due to being lukewarm.
The steaks and “secret sauce” were really poor and also lukewarm. Mediocre meat, although cooked to medium as ordered. The sauce was pretty uninspired, inedible. Best comparison might be a canned, weak beef gravy with no sense of freshness or seasonings.
Apple pie tasted grocery store bought - don’t order it.
My cappuccino was perfect.
The service and food are good. But the music was so loud, can’t hear oneself talk or carry a conversation with your companion. Wish they turned the music level down 3 notches.
We went for brunch and the food was excellent with the exception of the poached eggs (they were overcooked twice). The French toast is the best I've ever had!
Overall, a good experience. Keep in mind that the deserts are ridiculously sized and designed for two or three people. We also had to ask that the music be turned down or redirected. We will come again.
I expected more from a pre fixed menu and that's all they offer. The "secret sauce" wasn't very good.
First time visit, very nice experience. Food and service was excellent. Look forward to going back!
Very underwhelmed by the service - we waited 10 minutes or so
for someone to visit our table. Then they seemed more concerned with clearing our dishes. Enjoyed the food except dessert - chocolate cake was very dry.
