it was a fantastic experience not only because it was the 1. time out in a year but we enjoyed ourselves to talk, noise level was low, that is why I booked an earlier time since I have a bit of a hearing issue. The food was just delicious, exactly what I had imagined reading the menu. I had the beet cured salmon salad, the salmon was to die for, a fresh and vibrant salad, my son hat a coconut and curry soup with mushrooms, spices were just spot on. Main was equally enjoyable and we talked ourselves into a dessert , a yuzu cheesecake with black sesame praline, absolutely fantastic, and this all delivered by a professional and very friendly waiter. All in all a great experience for a very reasonable prize

Great place to eat, friendly professional service, very clean restaurant, well spaced out with COVID precautions in place. Delicious meals.

overall it was a nice place to dine, moderately priced and service was very helpful
disappointed that they were out of the black cod I was looking forward to,
however the second choice was delicious

Our lunch was delicious, dessert and coffee also very good. Service was top notch too.

Creative, 'local' menu. Server was informed and a bit 'too informative'. Good knowledge of menu and a bit too prepared to share 'favourites'. Suggest a 'less is more' presentation: responding to questions about fare with less unsolicited info. No sparkling water available? Would seem to be a piece of standard fare. Food delivered in timely way, well prepared, and tasty.

For my birthday this year, my family and I decided on Mercer Hall (as it's my favourite). The food is always outstanding and delicious as were our drinks. Our server, Emily, made our experience next-level with her attentiveness, humour and kindness. She even brought me a bday treat. We had such a fun, awesome experience and a lot of that was thanks to her. As always, we'll be back soon. Thanks!

Good friendly service, reasonably priced, wide range of craft beer and food!! Everyone enjoyed their choices and we all thought the brussel sprouts were the best we’ve eaten! I loved that everything came to the table piping hot!

The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Very relaxing and the vibe in the restaurant was wonderful. Would highly recommend. Next time will stay overnight in the hotel upstairs.

The most friendly staff possible, combined with unique and satisfying dishes in a friendly setting. The service is unfussy, the food should be twice the price that it is, the craft beer selection is wonderful and the wine list will not disappoint. One of the best restaurants you can find outside of Toronto.

I found it to be rather over priced over all and there was very little dressing on the easer salad. I am not a fan of having to make my own salad and being served a whole head of lettuce with the core still on it .
I would have asked for more dressing but could not get the waitresses attention.
Found seating to be very intrusive to have a conversation with my dinner company and as we felt that other customers were siting on top of you.
I will not being going back 😕

Our waitress was wonderful, I love the atmosphere. Always something delicious at Mercer and I love the drink selection.

Food was good. They were quite busy but the wait for our meal wasn’t bad at all.

We were quickly seated to our reserved table. The server explained the menu and specials to us. We ordered drinks but when one we had ordered was not available the server brought samples or tells two others that were similar and that ensured we were happy with our selection. We ordered from the specials menu and food came out in reasonable time and well prepared. We were very happy with all of our meals. The prices are a bit high I think but the food is excellent so don’t mind that for special occasions.

The Dim Sum brunch was delicious, a perfect way to share and sample a number of small plate dishes. Our server was extremely helpful in making recommendations and helping us choose our dim sum items. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was delicious and the craft beers that we selected were awesome. Staff was very friendly and attentive. If I were to critique anything it would be this. The food and presentation has all the makings of a fine dining experience except.......... when experiencing fine dining you should not feel rushed. We had barely ordered our beer when we were asked if we wanted to order our appetizers and the main dish and they came as quickly as ordered. I know that some really like quick service, but there is also a fine balance that can be achieved in this area so that the experience of being able to savour the dishes presented does not feel rushed but can be appreciated....... even in a pub setting.

Favourite spot to drop in and have a bite! Lovely. They have great choices...especially if you are GF. Will be back!

Love their Tempura Vegetables and excellent Buttermilk Chicken. Love their relaxed atmosphere, the food is reasonably priced given it’s quality.

The hostess sat us down but didn’t bring menus. So we thought the server would bring us one. There was only the drink menu on the table. When she did finally come we ordered drinks but still no food menu. We had to ask for a food menu!! Strange. Pulled pork nachos were just ok.

Extensive craft beer menu! Knowledgeable servers. Tuna sushi roll was immediately a favourite! Great musician on Friday night. Overall we loved our first experience at this restaurant. Definitely will return!

This was the third time I'd been to Mercer Hall; once for lunch and twice for dinner. Each time, the food and drinks were delicious and the service was friendly. Being celiac, I appreciate that gluten-free items are indicated on the menu; the same for vegan, nut-free- etc. Great list of beers and some nice wines by the glass. I'd definitely go there again, and would urge my friends to try it out, too, when they're in Stratford. Well done, Mercer Hall!

We really enjoyed our meal . Our server was friendly knowledge and fun. The menu was varied . We have been to the Mercer before and therefore did not order our standard favourite. We were not disappointed in our choice. We were pleased to see the Brussels sprouts back on the menu. Thank you for giving our Mother daughter weekend an excellent start.

Tommy was also very efficient , friendly and made us feel welcome.

Overall, everything was good. Food was fine. Service was friendly and kind.

Service was fantastic and I loved the eclectic menu. The tempura veggies were great. My friend had the chicken skewer appetizer which he would not recommend and had the smoked meat and soba bowl which he enjoyed. The table beside us ordered the smoked salmon medium plate and it looked amazing! I told my sister to try this restaurant when she is next in Stratford. She would adore it.

Nice food and friendly stuff. Very glad that made reservation in advance. The restaurant was almost full.

Terrific service. The bowls we ordered were very good, but mine was only lukewarm. Very tasty though!
