    Oysters on the half shell- 6 tiny oysters in a weird presentation. All we tasted was raw vinegar and onions. $29. Was told local up the street? Salmon - cooked well and flavor was on point. Land & Sea - beef tenderloin was incredibly difficult to eat. I could barely cut it and the chew was like rubber. No flavor either. Scallops were small, sparse and lost in the plate. For $68, no. Cocktails were on point. Flavorful and refreshing. Sean was a wonderful host but visibly overwhelmed. It did not seem particularly busy but he was also the only host. I am positive if we got him on a better evening our experience with him would have been much better. There was absolutely no music or any type of ambience. The room was extremely dark and quiet- aside from listening to the kitchen cooking the food and the soft murmurs of guests conversing. A very odd experience. We came here for my partner’s birthday because she was excited to get some fresh seafood. I am glad she got some good fish. Other than that, pretty disappointed. BJ’s Tacos & Burgers, Pelican Brewery, PC Wine, and Stimulus Bakery all had far superior food, service and ambience to price. I would return to the Tidepools Spa for another phenomenal experience, but can’t say I would return to Meridian. Sorry.

    Beautiful Oceanside restaurant. To have the ultimate experience go for lunch so the views can be appreciated. Friendly staff open to suggestions. My daughter asked for a huckleberry Moscow Mule which they promptly made and it was delicious. You may see it added to the menu! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are near Pacific City!

    Brandon made our experience exceptional. He is a total professional and made us feel welcomed, cared for; and we left feeling like we met a new friend . The Chef and kitchen staff created (5-star) Halibut and Crab Cake dishes. The Halibut was the best I have ever had. Remarkable culinary team. The Meridian Restaurant is located inside the Headlands Lodge and has stunning views of the Pacific. Conveniently located across the street from the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. Top - notch coastal dining experience.

    The menu is upscale but the ambience is "beach casual". Food and service were both outstanding. Expect to spend $100 per person for dinner, drinks and gratuity, but for a special meal, certainly worth it.

    Here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and did Brandon go above and beyond to make it special, yes he did! So welcoming and attentive. Thank you for such a great meal that was made even better with his amazing service!!!! 10/10 !!!

    Fantastic service and exceptionally well-crafted seasonal fare. Very reasonable prices considering the excellent quality and preparation of local, fresh ingredients. Exquisite service, and fantastic ambiance - cozy without being chintzy and upscale without being pretentious.

    My only real issue with the food was the salmon I requested well done… it was not cooked through in the center so I only ate about half of it from the ends. I didn’t mention it to our server so in all fairness they might have corrected it for me if I had asked. The rest of our food was good and our server was good too despite being very busy. We enjoyed the experience and would go again.

    What a great experience! The space is beyond beautiful, food was absolutely delicious, and the service (Lilly) was more than we could have asked for. Great views of the ocean and modern decor. No complaints on any of the apps or entrees - lots to pick from and all fantastic. Drinks were also perfect. Loved it and would absolutely recommend it. Prices were more upscale, but it was worth it.

    It was all as it should be. It couldn't be a more perfect dining setting. And the staff all is continual, present and helpful. They even brought my service, dog cookies and the food was really good.

    Good to very good. I was disappointed that such a high end lodging would have an unimpressive appearing restaurant. The hostess asked if there was a special occasion, to which I said my husband's 75th birthday, yet no one acknowledged it. So aside from not meeting initial expectations the food was very good and I would return now that I know what to expect.

    Gorgeous restaurant, professional, hospitable staff, excellent food. Don’t miss their chowder or scallops, and if available, the agedashi tofu - so nice to see such a beautifully prepared vegetarian dish. This was our first time dining at Meridian, we can’t wait to return.

    We stayed at Headlands and ate at Meridian for several meals - all of which were delicious. Specifically loved the muscles, oysters, crab cakes and cocktails.

    Was expecting more. Felt more like a ski lodge or a beach front restaurant in so. Cal. Expected more of an elegant setting for our anniversary. Food and service great but not what we expected.

    We celebrated our 30th anniversary there and it was wonderful! Everything from the general ambiance to our server to our drinks and meal were exceptional. The Sitka drink is so unique and delicious - I'll order it again. Our appetizers were the right amount and so flavorful - the house chowder wasn't heavy like a typical chowder. It was perfect! My husband ordered the ribeye and he said it was cooked exactly as he ordered and expected. My sturgeon was delightful! Very generous portions, well cooked accompaniments, and again just delicious! Our server, Sam, was fantastic! She wasn't overbearing, but attentive, friendly but not fake. We felt the prices well supported everything we experienced! Thank you, Meridian Restaurant, for a memorable evening to celebrate our 30th!

    Tried almost all the sea food on the menu, everything was great. The developer of this place really should have put the restaurant on the bottom level of the ocean side IMO. Having all guests checking into hotel walking through the restaurant was noisy. Everything else was top notch.

    My husband and I had such a wonderful night out to dinner at Meridian. The service was amazing! The food was outstanding and we were impressed with every course we had. The ambience was also just perfect! We can’t wait to vacation at Headlands and dine here again in the future!

    I feel that they cater to the hotel guests, by seating the locals in less desirable areas. Though I reserved a special anniversary date days in advance,my husband and I were sat in the noisy bar area. The food was good but not superb for the top dollar you are charged. This was our second visit and if we ever return we won’t reserve ahead.
