Just like our regular menu, we will have three terrific courses with a huge variety of local seafood, meat and produce. The price will be $115 per person, or $42 for Keiki. We hope to see you! Our menu will be posted on the our website in the next few weeks. Please note, credit cards are only taken online to hold reservations. Cards are not charged at the time of booking. Payment is taken at the restaurant, as normal.

Merriman’s Waimea remains the flagship restaurant in the Merriman’s family of restaurants. On an extremely difficult Tuesday night where everyone overstayed their reservations and everyone showed up for their reservations on time creating a monumental traffic jam, they managed to deliver a great meal and a fun filled evening.

Although Merriman's was very busy, and our table of 5 were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, we had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner here. They have our party complimentary glasses of champagne while we were waiting. The wait staff were attentive, and friendly. Some of the best service we've seen. The kitchen was very slow. They add a 4% surcharge for the kitchen staff for all food items. The food was overall very good to great! I had the (spicy) enchiladas and a quesadilla appetizer. Both were very good! Three in our party had the lamp chops which they enjoyed. The desserts (including the chocolate purse) were awesome! A waiter served on person the wrong wine, but apologized later when he realized the color was off and offered to replace it. We enjoyed our time talking as we weren't in a hurry. Would do it again!

Truly a 5 star experience. Annette or Nette our server was fun and passionate about making sure we had a wonderful experience and we did. The food was delicious and really like the use of chili sauce on the lobster ravioli. The clam appetizer’s broth was so flavorful we were fighting over the last drops of it. Cannot comment on dessert because the entries were so filling. Good excuse to go back so we can leave room for dessert.

We showed up early for our our reservation; however, the hostess was able to get us in despite it obviously being very busy. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The fine dining spot in Waimea.

Wanted to try this restaurant as this was recommended by my friend who had visited recently. No view, totally disappointed with the location far from our hotel fairmont orchid. I had the ahi which was fresh ,had a soy sauce dressing which was very salty.my husband had the catch of the day which was very bland and tasteless. I had mai tai excellent. The other one is no ka oí bitter. Expensive, will not Be back. The price doesn’t match the food nor the location.

A fantastic lunch from the excellent Caesar salad to the mahi-mahi fish of the day and the Mac nut and pineapple bread pudding. The service was excellent. We always enjoy dining here.

As always, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was superb - friendly, well informed, but not overly attentive. As in the past the dining area is rather loud even though people were only speaking with normal conversation. Overall a terrific experience.

Best dining experience! Food was amazing, service (Shaunta) was spectacular, and the vibe is perfect. Best best salad I’ve had, ever and the Mai Tai foam is unforgettable. So glad we made the trip up to Merriman’s - loved seeing that part of the big island. Recommend stopping by Big Island Brew Haus before dinner.

We needed a reservation but it was worth it ! Food was fresh and well cocked. Small portions but enough. Good cocktails and beer, and excellent deserts. We tried the burgers, pork sandwich, mahi mahi catch if the day , all with Yukon baby potatoes. Everything was good and everyone was happy! Our server was helpful and quick.

Food and service were great. But the noise was terrible. It was hard to hear our server explain the specials. My spouse had to turn their hearing aids down to have a better experience. Something needs to be done to dampen the noise level.

This a fine dinning experience you cannot afford to miss. The food is excellent, the service is first class and even though it is a bit pricey, it’s well worth it. We can’t wait to go back.

I dined at Merriman’s in Maui a year ago and was not eager to try Merriman’s on the Big Island. Boy was I surprised! The service was incredible but the food was even better than that! Merriman’s on the Big Island lacks the ocean view but it doesn’t need it. It has drinks and food that was hands down, the best meal we had on the island!

One of the great meals anywhere! The farm to table food options are amazing and there’s also a great wine list. The service was great - highly knowledgeable waitress who walked us thru the menu and gave great suggestions. Highly recommend!

If you're on the Big Island, and you like fine dining and you have a car, get to Merriman's in Waimea. I'm snobby and picky and eat in San Francisco, and, believe me, Merriman's stands up to anything I've had in an admittedly spoilt experience. Go spoil yourself!

Always one of our favorite restaurants on the islands. Very good Mai Tais, excellent food and preparation, outstanding service, very quiet and relaxing, but (as expected) a bit pricey (but also worth it). Definitely a special occasion destination must.
