Brunch was super tasty! The short rib and omelet and crab cake Benedict were on point. My wife loved the brunch burger too. Bloody Mary’s are also some of the tastiest I’ve had in Milwaukee. Definitely a must for brunch on the weekends!

We ended up sitting at the bar. Andy was a really great bartender and paid a lot of attention to us. Made great suggestions for appetizers and our meal. We will be back!

We had a wonderful experience at Merriment Social! The food was amazing, especially the Wagyu burgers. Maybe the best I’ve ever had! Service was top notch too. Can’t wait to go back!

Took a day trip from Chicago to Milwaukee. We heard about Merriment Social and thought to give it try. Overall great experience! I ordered one of their specialty drinks which was really good - Millennial Falcon. We also order a couple of appetizers which were a good start. My wife and I ended up ordering THE BESTSELLER BURGER which was good too. I added jalapeños for extra kick! I wish they had different fries but overall everything was great! No complaints about the service or the space! CLEAN AND INVITING!

Merriment Social was excellent! The service staff was so friendly and went over and above to make our experience great. The food was amazing, probably the best fried chicken and burgers I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely, fun spot with creative, tasty fare. Our waiter was excellent (John?) . I would highly recommend this gem for brunch (as we were there for a Saturday morning). Would love to try dinner there someday.

We came in to celebrate an engagement in our family. Overall everything was good, but we did feel rushed, which was strange because there were so many empty tables & if the server was worried about turning over the table (i get it I’ve been a server and restraunt manager) this wasn’t the way to do it. We were there about an hour and half and tipped 20%, which to be honest felt above what he deserved as he wasn’t personable and just super to the point “what do you want to drink?” “Are you ready to order” and super quick his words. You have to have some sort of personability. A table of 7 ladies (clearly celebrating something as I brought cookies and the box was in the middle of the table) & not even a “how are you doing” “what are we celebrating”… after I paid the entire bill (quickly because I could feel the rush) I put the book to the side for him to grab but instead he, the busser, and the other man came back and looked at our table 5 times, five…. Very obviously at that not just a casual stroll and glance. It made it quite uncomfortable to chat for a short bit after eating… Positive note: the chicken was amazing. I’d of loved to bring my family here but I have 3 boys and the last thing they’d want is to be rushed.

Rude server; he knew very little about the menu, and scoffed at any questions. We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food, even though the restaurant was less than half full. Our server did not acknowledge the long wait, and when we asked him about it was very rude. We eventually had to ask the manager. Food was hot, but extremely over-salted and way overpriced. Once food arrived the server disappeared and we waited another 20 minutes after finishing our food before again asking the manager for our bill. This restaurant has definitely gone down-hill as it once was a great place with amazing food. Overall very poor experience.

I would seriously recommend avoiding this restaurant . The service was the worst I've ever had. Our food took forever, our server forgot to write down 25% of the order, wasn't apologetic given the mistake and our server was incredibly rude. I never write reviews... this place should be avoided at all costs.

I haven’t been to Merriment Social in a couple of years, and I was truly disappointed in my meal. I ordered the Baja fish tacos and they were awful. The flour tortillas were stale based on how chewy they were and the fish had no flavor. Thank goodness there was a side of chips and guac. I’ve always enjoyed my meals here so I was genuinely surprised by how bad this dish was; won’t be ordering that again.

The food was less than room temperature for all of our dishes (Brussel sprouts, Egg rolls, Wagyu burger, chicken & waffles, and Brussel Sprout salad w/salmon. It was our 5th time visiting Merriment; all of our other visits (including a bday party in April, several brunches and dinner) were wonderful - the food was hot! We brought our neighbors (2 Froedtert doctors) and sadly, they were also disappointed on what was their first visit to Merriment. It was a very busy night for the servers. We should have said something, but didn’t. We had reservations at 6pm, seated immediately and our server was wonderful! Unfortunately we will no longer recommend Merriment. 😞

Cute little restaurant, food is more for those that like to experiment with different foods. Definitely not some place to take anyone picky. Menu is limited, and everything is priced higher than it should be. $12 drinks were definitely much smaller than anticipated. It was nice to try, but probably won't go again.

This was one of the best brunches that I have had in Milwaukee. My daughters, and I each ordered a different dish, both savory and sweet. The use of vegetables and dishes was exquisite, as was the homemade right from scratch flavors of the baked goods. The fried chicken was amazing.!
