   The place was phenomenal. We came in with a party of 12 and had a couple unexpected guests show up and the restaurant and staff were extremely accommodating to help seat us all together. Our server did a fantastic job keeping everything in order and getting everything out in a timely manner. Prices were a little high for what you received, but it’s par the course for dining in Royal oak. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back again!

   We’d not be here and tried it with some friends. The place is cool but our waitress was not so friendly. I ordered enchiladas and asked if I could mix proteins, she said, “no”. I asked nicely, why not? She just said “we don’t do that.” Hmm. The food was okay. Rice and beans as sides were blah. Chips and salsa average. It was fine but nothing special. The Margaritas were small and average.

   Beautiful Ambiance & the Food was tasty. Our waitress Angel made the experience even better w/ her customer service. Pleasant, helpful, chatted with us & got our order to us in a timely manner. Very pleased. Thank you to her for being extra courteous to me on my Birthday 5.15. We’ll be back soon.

   This was not my first time at this restaurant; however, it was my first experience with extremely slow service and poorly prepared food. It seemed like they were short staffed, the server informed us of “ALL” the items they were out of like steak, sour cream, etc. and my fajita veggies were beyond charred. They were clearly understaffed and it showed.

   Went for Mother’s Day and got there at open with a reservation. We were seated quickly. Server was great, just overwhelmed and it seemed short staffed from the back of the house. Drinks were slower to come out than hoped for but were good. Food was great. Several menu items were not available. Overall it was an ok experience, but nothing that wowed is for the price point.

   Came at a perfect time. Food and drinks were great and came out promptly. I rely on frozen margs bc I don’t like the strong taste lol and the frozen machine stopped working supposedly. But I got a rocks mango marg and it was delicious!

   Not worth the price and the service took forever. I ordered a marg flight and it took over an hour so I just asked them to take it off because I didn’t want it (we had already gotten our food and I ordered the flight prior to ordering our food) and they wouldn’t and it was $26. We ordered queso as a appetizer and they brought it out without chips and we have to wait about 20 minutes after getting the queso for the chips. Food overall was okay but wasn’t worth the $90 bill for two

    Cocktails were good. Food was mediocre. Guacamole had little flavor. Same with my chicken tacos. Chips tasted of oil that needed to be changed. Service was very slow.

    One of the worst dining experiences ever. Everything was unorganized and took us 20 mins to even get water, tables after us were being helped. Out of menu items and then brought us the wrong order. Won’t be going back.

    The food was horrible. Not authentic at all. There was no seasoning. The salsa and chips was even gross.i would’ve enjoyed chipotle better and saved ALOT of money. We bought a tower drink that taste like juice that cost $60 🤦🏽‍♀️. I give this place 1 star and that’s because our waitress was excellent.

    Place was decently crowded on a Tuesday evening. We reached ahead of our reservation and were promptly seated. Food portions were generous but overall bland in taste. Service was extremely good with the server checking on us from time to time. Overall a good place if you are more interested in the drinks than the food.

    It was my birthday. I've been there before and food is usually really good so I wanted to have my family experience too. Food was just okay. And service was absolutely terrible. Wrong drinks were given. Some people weren't even given the drinks they ordered 2 or 3 times. food was wrong. She took soo long in between for us to even try to get anything fixed. Margaritas got switched between my mom and I which isn't really a big deal but still. Everything took forever. Asked for sour cream with tacos and took her until we were done eating for her to bring it. Brought us a pitcher of water after we were done eating. Probably won't be back again.

    I ordered chicken fajitas, the rice/ beans were cold, the veggies(peppers/onions) were overcooked and mushy. The igloo was dirty, dirty napkins all over the floor and the table didn't appear to be wiped down. Our reservation was at 6, they didn't turn on the heat in the igloo until after we got there. I'm thinking if there is a set reservation to have it already warm for the patron. If the patron doesn't show up after the 15 minute grace period then maybe shut it off. We sat there waiting for it to kick in, should've just sat in the restaurant. I had to ask for silverware which I thought should've been supplied while being seated. I won't need to visit this place again, not even to try something different.

    The food was bland, waited at front desk for 14 minutes before being greeted. Once seated it was another 8 minutes before a server even greeted us. We ordered the guac flight - zero seasoning and they all tasted the same. The fajitas were mediocre at best. The drinks we had were the Love Potion #9 and the Moscow Mule and they were okay - not great, and definitely would not order either again.

    Drinks were decent, but took a while To get. Our bill for two people, dinner, was $174. Our food was cold and the tortilla for my enchiladas was falling apart like it was old. The salsa didn’t taste like anything, was just extremely Cold. They were not that busy and the waitress just kept Saying the bar was backed up. Was so much money and not worth it. Very sad.

    I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday at Mesa. The margarita flight is fun and delicious. It is however a little pricey in comparison to other Mexican restaurants. The food was good. The service was a little slow for not being very busy yet but she was friendly. We will go back and give it another try

    The food was great but the service has gone down considerably since the pandemic. After ordering, we didn’t see our waitress again until dinner was brought out. She disappeared again after that. No, she was not over-seated nor did it appear that they were short staffed.

    Honestly didn’t have a great experience. Booked the outdoor igloo and they forgot to assign us a server. Moved inside to tell them and sat inside hoping service would be better but it was mediocre at best. Everything took FOREVER and there were maybe two other tables being used in the entire place. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Also do NOT order the avocado black bean tacos — basically a massive blob of cold guacamole in a tortilla with a few veggies sprinkled on top.

    Food was just ok, but over priced. We got two drinks that tasted like zero alcohol was in them. Sat in the igloo but the ground was really wet and the table was dirty when we got in there, even though we had a reservation. There was a hole in the igloo that was covered with a napkin. Service was slow. Food came out at different times and i got the fajitas but waited another 5 minutes for the tortillas. Won’t go back.

    Our server Cammy was amazing. After seeing some not so great reviews I was nervous. The food was excellent too! My mom ordered the enchiladas that were great. My son and I have fajitas that we’d definitely order again. We travels about an hour to do the igloo dining. It was cold but cute. Will return.
