If you like WINE, especially Messina Hof, then this is the place to go. We have been many times since the opening and the wine list is great! Ive tried several red, light red, rose, and whites. They have new kitchen staff, they dont seem to understand what quality the customer expects for the price range of the menu items. The last few times we have been, the food has not been good! In January, the goat cheese appetizer was burnt, last month the pizza was burnt, a few weeks ago the steak was over done. Last night we did a work social, two persons had the Shrimp in Grits (I've had this in August 2021 and was so good!), one person had pizza, one person had steak, one person had veggie pasta. The shirmp n grits were horrible, shrimp were over done and the grits was a big glob of grits on the plate. The pizza was over fired. The steak was cooked perfectly, but the veggeis were not! No comment on the veggie pasta. It so sad, becasue I love M&H and I want this to be the place. I recommend if you go, stick witht he appetizers and wine!

We like to sit at the bar for dinner, but the bar height, is too high for comfort. My carrots were not cook, so they brought out more. By the time if received them I was done with my fish. My husband ordered the pork chop, it was good, just kind of bland. I will be back but not for dinner; I prefer the brunch menu.

Absolutely amazing place to dine and sample as many wines as you can imagine. The food was incredible, possibly the best pork chop I’ve had and the Brussels sprouts are so perfect you’ll want to write a song about them. Dustin made the evening even better by explaining the wine characteristics and how they paired with dishes. We’ve found our new favorite spot.

This is a small restaurant with just a few tables in the main dining room plus three small rooms for private (8-10 people) parties. The menu was simple comfort food with pizza, salads and a few mains including roasted half chicken, 10oz NY Strip, double thick cut pork chop. The chef special for two was a full meal with 36oz tomahawk steak, salads, veggies, dessert and a bottle of wine for$155. We ate the charred Caesar salad, 10oz steak with mushrooms and yukon potatoes. The meal was very tasty after we got a serving of hot Potatoes. We will return.

Our server was nice but so busy we only saw him four times. As asked for extra bread it never came, when my husband mentioned it the server responded I will take it off in passing. Our water was never refilled. The table next was a happy table but it was clear that a number of people at the table had been over served as one person was crawling on the floor to great a dog as it was leaving and another time when we were leaving he got up to hug my husband.

Possible understaff issue? Took over 10 minutes to be greeted by our waiter and the food was subpar, overcooked salmon and the beef didn’t have much flavor. We are wine members and the wine is delicious but the food isn’t worth the money.

First time visiting and was not disappointed. The selection of wines was impressive. Food selection did not have a huge variety but a perfect menu for sharing. We asked them to split everything so we could share and they were very accommodating. Will definitely come back to enjoy.

The good was great! Although, I wish our server was more enjoyable. It felt like we were a bother to him. I picked this place for my friend and I who haven't seen each other in over 2 years and we drove about 40 min to do this get together. I feel a server can make or break the experience.... and for me, he broke it. Because it's 40 min away... I probably won't return. It was just mediocre over-all.
