    Family dinner with our teenagers First time here and it was absolutely amazing The food was delicious and huge portions Our entire party was so impressed with the food Madison our server was great and made our experience that much better This was some of the best Italian food we have had all year Definitely will not be disappointed!

    First time here. Definitely a family business. Food was outstanding. Large portions. Excellent, excellent, service. I had seen earlier complaints about service on OpenTable from others. Not the case for us. The specials were very good - my only comment is on the price of the specials. Significantly more expensive than I ever imagined for a place in Brewster - we are talking midtown Manhattan pricing. My fault for not asking the server when the dishes were described, which resulted in this being one of the more expensive meals we've had in the past year. But we'll return as it was a good evening. Desserts were excellent as well.

    A veal and spinach dish was very disappointing…..the meat was very thin, tough and stringy!! We've always had outstanding food here and the others at my table were quite satisfied at this sitting. Just my selection was subpar, sorry!!

    We were refused a table, even though we had a reservation. We were told that they do not accept reservations for less than six, even though we had made this reservation and it was confirmed. We were treated rudely. We will not be returning to Mezzaluna

    This was our first time visiting Mezzaluna and while we were excited at first, this soon changed to the opposite. I did appreciate that the business was thriving with plenty of tables taken at the time we were dining, but what truly fell short was the forgetful service. Mezzaluna surely didn’t have a shortage of staff but I do think the management could be better so the team can operate like a well-oiled machine. Three times into our dining experience the waiter forgot something. Technically it was every time we’ve requested for something - something would be amiss. I’m aware they’re busy but it gets tiring trying to remind the waiter and these were simple requests like a wine, a spoon, etc. In addition, I was absolutely not a fan of the waiter and reservationist addressing one out of two in a party. They kept on addressing my partner. Mind you, I’m the one that paid for dinner in this case. Regardless, this is 2021 - and women are equal and the restaurant should be reminded of that. I found it to be very rude addressing only one person in a party (what am I? A ghost?) and thank goodness they’re not striving for a Michelin star. Other than that, food was delicious and no complaints there whatsoever. Huge portions for sure. Would we consider coming back? Absolutely not. There’s a plethora of restaurants in the Hudson Valley and Mezzaluna won’t be missed for sure.

    In times of COVID we all would like to see our local restaurants do good. Unfortunately that was not the case. Fish dishes were overcooked. Calamari was like rubber and shrimp were tough. Prices were high.

    Mezzaluna is a wonderful restaurant, The food was delicious, the service friendly and efficient, and the menu extensive. Prices were a bit high, but it was worth the expense. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian meal.

    Went for Christmas/Birthday lunch with my daughter and her partner. We had the Veal Parm, Chicken Marsala and Penne ala Vodka. Excellent portion for the lunch menu. Food was good, one step below excellent. I have to return to try their pizza.

    I met my girlfriend for dinner. Food is always great there. I was just a little surprised at the price of the seafood special. It was just okay. And it was t even piping hot when it was served. Kind of disappointed but I will still go. I just won’t be ordering any specials in the future.

    Gotta say the food was great with the grilled octopus standing out as a great appetizer. Young waiter was very attentive and very nice. One BIG issue I believe many will agree with me on; PLEASE do something about the noise level. Very difficult to converse with our friends and the wait staff.
