Went for a poetry night recently. They were late getting started and only one poet performed. Additionally, the people (DJ and MC) organizing the event got into a disagreement which all of the guests were witness to for about 15 minutes as they shared their displeasure over the microphone instead of playing music, which is what would help to improve the atmosphere. The food was not flavorful and was over cooked. However, the drinks were really good, and the server was attentive. Order the wings from next door (their sister restaurant).

Nice pub atmosphere. Food was hit or miss, twisted feta and tzatziki were very good but they charged extra for the pita how else would we eat the dips? The meatballs we good, the lamb chops were cooked well beyond well done, nearly impossible to cut with a knife. Service was friendly and adequate. Wine ordered was not the wine delivered and we were told it was the only wine they had

This place used to be really special with an extensive small plates and a good wine and beer selection. The menu has shrunk considerably and there's no wine list at all - you can get a glass of one of five or six unknown house wines. No beer on tap at all. There's just no particular reason to choose this one-charming place anymore unless you happen to be in the neighborhood, want something other than pub food, and aren't really looking for a dining "experience."

Hidden gem in Baltimore harbour area! Food was amazing and extremely affordable. Plates are bigger than what we expected given the prices. The dips come with toasted pita slathered in butter - so yummy! The spinach pie was flaky and buttery - highly recommend if you don’t mind rich, somewhat oily food. We also had the chicken meatballs and eggplant - all amazing!!

Wow! I booked a reservation for 6 people for my birthday. I had been two times before, once for restaurant week and once during a food tour. I remembered enjoying it, but we didn’t have free range with the menu so I thought another visit was due. My entire party was blown away. The staff was friendly, funny, and helpful. And the food and drinks are INCREDIBLE. Definitely try the grilled portobello. At the end of our evening, a friend ordered shots for the table and the staff wrapped a candle to one and brought them to our table singing. Above and beyond. Such a great place and we will absolutely continue dining here.

We visited this establishment on a Wednesday evening. In all honesty, the food was really good. The service was good. The ambience was good. The noise level was good. The prices was good. I give it a solid 4/5.

We came here for Mothers Day and were delighted with the food and ambience. I love the small plate concept - we each got 3 different dishes and shared. Delicious! The only improvement would be on how long it took for the food to come (close to an hour) but I think they cook everything from scratch, including the pita. Definitely worth the wait though.

We sat upstairs - great ambiance and fun sitting by the window! The food is delicious and the waitstaff, Jack, was there when we needed him, but not overly solicitous. We purchased mostly small plates to share. The octopus was a tad chewy. The lima beans (two of us -including myself- proclaimed to dislike lima beans... but) were so good I went home and tried to find a recipe.

The place was empty, pretty much. The food was good but not excellent. The waitress was a little goofy and did not pay attention to detail. She brought the wrong drinks to the wrong person. They had no craft ice for an old fashion. Some items on the menu were not available.

It was not a good night for Mezze. Their systems were down and things were a bit chaotic, to put it mildly. Their 5 star rating is based on the grace and consideration with which they handled the otherwise rocky but enjoyable evening. When we arrived for our reservation, they weren't sure what to do with us; but they found us a table on the second floor in the corner which suited us just fine because we wanted to talk. It was a festive atmosphere and everybody seemed to be having lots of funs. They apologized numerous times and offered to move us to a "better" table when one opened up, but we enjoyed our table and stayed put. The menu was full of various tapas offerings, all of which proved to be surprisingly good (although a couple were a tad over cooked). The food did take a while to arrive as it was difficult for the kitchen to put things together with their systems down. Still, despite being located in an out of the way table, we were checked on several times so we never felt left out. When the wine arrrived late for one of our party they gave her another glass for free and filled it to the rim. What made the whole evening so pleasant was that they seemed to care so much. Although we never complained about anything, they apologized for the upside down evening profusely and gave us 75% off our food and drink. We were stunnned at their generosity and tipped on the original bill. I can't ever remember leaving a restaurant wanting it to be successful so much. The food was much better than the casual atmosphere suggested, and their desire to make us happy was unmatched.

I’ve been here a number of times and really enjoy the food. However when I took my wife here this time, for Valentine’s Day, we were seated at a two top in the middle of the room with other couples a couple feet away. They brought us water and then we didn’t see or hear from anyone for over 20 minutes. When we looked around, the four tables around us, most of which had been there longer than us, hadn’t been addressed either. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Brought a party of 9 on a Friday night. This place was perfect. Charming decor. Nice service. Delicious food. Something for everyone while still being interesting. We shared many dishes. Go for the lamb chops and the lima beans!

Our party had a reservation but we had to wait for 45 minutes before we were seated. We were offered drinks on the house as a concession, but the drinks tasted awful! It also took at least another 45 minutes before our food arrived, and it was overly charred and dry. This might have been a particularly busy day, but the quality of food and the service was very substandard.

Food was absolutely amazing! The service was poor though. It took the servers 40 minutes to take our order and at one point forgot part of our order but still included it in our bill. They corrected it after we told them but staffing needs some work.

The food was fine, the service was absolutely horrific. We went during restaurant week and they had no idea what was going on. My mom ordered the restaurant week tasting menu and didn’t get half her meal, we waited for 2 hours…. They forgot to take the rest of our orders and then our food came out and they forgot our drinks. It was one thing after another. I don’t recommend going unless you want to wait 2+ hours. People were leaving in the middle of their meals.

The food was absolutely delicious. Shared about 11 papas and the bill was only a little over a $100. That makes it unincredibly good deal. Do not sleep on the octopus it is incredible
